Egg Collection produced only 7 eggs, 3 poor quality, 2 failed ICSI, i didnt fertilise so was left with just one egg to implant last thurs on day 2. AM feeling very low about it all. Any positive advice or feedback please?

hi everyone, it's faith08...hope y'all have been keeping well NS how's Em hope she's great. WM thanks for asking how I am...well believe it or not I'm beaming with a fat smile on my face......COS I'M PREGNANT and no it wasn't by ivf...NS remember I told you I had a failed treatment in june and was booked in for a consultation for the 18th of August...wasn't exactly looking forward to another treatment especially since I had lost the nhs funding and most of all the pain..gosh. Anyways I just prayed and left everything to God and He did answer my prayers....a few days before my appointment I realised my period was late, I told DH and we decided to do a PT and what do you know......both tests read +ve...we were estatic!!!!!!! and to think we found this out on the 17th ie a day b4 the app......we kept the app though and after the doctor had tried explaining the best she could what may have gone wrong, i just calmly told her I was pregnant..she was so shocked that she literally jumped out of her chair and gave me a hug.....well, I'm 10 weeks gone now, my dating scan is on the 7th so I'd keep you posted.
just wanted to encourage anyone who reads this that although what you've longed for hasn't fallen through.....it wouldn't be easy whilst waiting but don't despair, when it's time to have it, you'll surely have it.....NS thanks a great deal for your words of encouragement,in some way they've blessed me....i do have my own story to tell now...WATCH THIS SPACE FOR MY UPDATES

this is probably on wrong discussion page but was wondering... had day 3 egg transfer after icsi cycle.six hours later I had to have a bowel movement.I had to strain to go.there was some pink blood and mucus from my vagina when I wiped.Sorry for details but Im very worried. No blood since. Has anyone else experienced this and gone on to have a successful pregnancy?Or have I ruined everything?im only on day2 now after transfer.

worrymerchant · 14/04/2013 10:10

Dear Muffsy - I have just seen your post - sorry, but I have been away from mumsnet for a few years !!!

If I had read it at the time I would have said I am sure it is nothing to worry about - jsut make sure you rest and best to avoid any kind of straining in the future! A ripe banana and a cup of tea is (bizarrely) the best remedy I have ever come across!! I hope that it turned out to be nothing serious - I am sure it wasn't - and I really hope that the transfer was successful - do let me know - I will be checking in to see.
