Nearly there now!

Tofu35 · 31/10/2022 08:51

Thanks @Mommabear20 ! Is anyone's else's partner really excited about parking in the parent and baby spaces? Mine has been chatting about it for a month now- he keeps asking if I "have room" to get out the car, because he wants the big space now 😂

Mommabear20 · 31/10/2022 08:58

@Tofu35 my DH was the same when we had our first 😂 'AH! I can actually open my door!' 😂

Place marking 32+3!

Had my 32 week appointment and baby is engaged! I know that can change but seems really encouraging.

JC84 · 31/10/2022 18:14

I'm already using the parent and child spaces cos I can't get in or out if someone parks next to me in a normal space 😂 (I do usually have my little boy with me too)
I'm 33+3 today, he's been head down for a few weeks but I'm not convinced he's the right way round, hoping I don't have another back to back 😫 currently measuring over the chart but following the curve so yet to be sent for any extra scans, now paranoid I might not be lucky with another 7lb 7 baby 😭

Mommabear20 · 31/10/2022 19:29

Starting to get a little nervous about baby's size as I have my growth scan tomorrow and dreading how big they're gonna say she is! If her estimated birth weight at term is over 8lbs I'll be camping out in maternity from 38 weeks till they agree to induce me 😂

OP posts:
TheOnlyException1 · 31/10/2022 19:59

@Mommabear20 Oof I don't blame you! honestly I'm kind of glad that I'm not going to know what size to expect!!
I'm finding myself getting quite anxious about which way up baby is - he was head down at my 28 and 32 week appointments, but just getting irrationally worried that he has flipped the wrong way and I'll only find out at my 36 week appointment 😅 I'm sure he hasn't, just finding it hard not to worry!

Mommabear20 · 31/10/2022 20:29

Well there was a 2lbs jump between my first and second so I'm praying that we're not following the same pattern with this one! 😂 id happily split the difference though! 7lbs seems much more manageable than 10lbs! 😂

Given that my 2 others were both a week early, and my due date is the 7th December, it's scary to think that as of tomorrow I'll most likely be in the month of her birth! As I imagine will a few of you guys as well! 🫣😁🥰

@Mommabear20, omigosh you're right, this thread is going to start having babies soon! 🥹🥹🥹 Wow, what ride it's been (and continues to be)!

3rdtimerodeo · 01/11/2022 06:52

I'm 32+4 today but a newbie....#3 due 23rd Dec. 1st is 17 this month and 2nd is 12 in early dec... bit of a whoops lol!

I had a growth scan on Sunday (previous 2 SGA) and hess is measuring 6 weeks ahead and est weight now 4lb 15.....I see the consultant on Monday so fingers crossed for whacky measurements as really don't want a hospital birth!

Anyone else can't believe we're nearly there??? This one has gone so quickly although it's my first full day of mat leave so I'm sure it'll drag now!

Mommabear20 · 01/11/2022 13:12

Growth scan went well this morning. Baby definitely measuring Big so they want to induce me, probably around 39 weeks, have an appointment next Tuesday to arrange it.

Would love to see everyone’s bump pictures! I’ll get DP to take one later when he is home!

Jaaxe · 01/11/2022 13:32

Would also love to see some bump pics, I feel huge but I think it’s because I wasn’t showing for ages and have fully popped the last couple of weeks! Will get bump pic later just in work at the moment! X

Jaaxe · 01/11/2022 13:34

@Mommabear20 glad your scan went well! I’ve another next Wednesday, I’ve been eating loads so hoping it shows on the babies weight gain! X

AG96 · 01/11/2022 14:00

Jumping back in the thread after being away for many weeks! 35 weeks today. Started with random vomiting and feeling nauseous 🙄. I think it's probably reflux or just running out of room. Baby boy was measuring 70th centile at 32 week scan and got another scan tomorrow. Bump is measuring on track though. Wondering if I'll have a baby this month 😮

Sdoubleyou · 01/11/2022 16:53

I love bump photos! I'll get the ball rolling. This is from Saturday at 33+4. Little bebe is measuring very average, which you wouldn't think by the looks of me! I keep wondering how much bigger I can get (ftm over here).

Nutella99 · 01/11/2022 17:34

Sometimes I feel huge and sometimes I worry that my bump isn't growing enough! 🤦‍♀️ He's been completely average at the last two midwife appointments (from bump measurements), so I'm sure it's all fine but can't help comparing to other bump sizes.

What general pregnancy symptoms does everyone have now? At 35 weeks I'm definitely starting to waddle a bit, mainly due to back pain. And reflux and constipation are getting worse. Not sleeping well. Can't help groaning every time I get off the chair/sofa/bed because I get stiff really quickly. Hormones all over the place - cried on the way home from visiting a friend and her small baby last week, partly because her baby cried when I held her (what if mine cries/hates me?!) and partly happy tears at the thought of finally meeting my baby soon. Can't decide whether another 5ish weeks seems insanely long or insanely short amount of time!

Nutella99 · 01/11/2022 17:35

I have no idea why seems is in bold!
