Cramping and spotting 5 weeks

Crushed as I write this, had some cramps earlier which were very much like medium AF cramps. Lasted about 15 mins then went away, now a hour later I’ve some light pinkish/brownish spotting but cramps have completely gone.

I’m dreading the worst, last cycle I had a chemical at 4 weeks 3 days. Was just starting to get a little excited thinking lightening couldn’t strike twice. Any one have any similar experiences either good or bad? I’m anxious that as the spotting happened so soon after the cramping that it could end up being another loss but on the other hand I’d assume I’d still be cramping if it were?

Anyone else have a disgusting taste in their mouth constantly? It's like a disgustingly sour taste. Just can't get rid of it. Waiting on the doctor to call be back about anti sickness tablets as I can barely eat 🤢

@polkadotdasies88 no that's I've noticed but heard loads of people say it! I'm on cyclizine from docs, but I only take when reallt bad as they make me drowsy, x

@polkadotdasies88 not really that I’ve noticed. It’s mostly food smells for me, OH likes eggs for breakfast I can’t go near the kitchen 🤢

My booking in appointment has been pushed back to next week but it’s just 5 days till my 8 week scan at EPU. Starting to feel nervous now xx

@TTCournumberthree My husband had fizzy orange juice last night and the smell was SO strong for me I couldn't bare it 🤢 The only thing I'm able to eat at the moment are grapes, at least they're healthy I guess 🤣

@Moosh18 I've just been prescribed cyclizine, hopefully they might just make me sleep through the 🤢

To update the thread 8 week scan showing healthy baby measuring 8 +1

Some measurements taken of a large cyst on my left ovary (9cm). Will be reported to Gynae and kept a eye on. May have been the cause of cramping but not the bleeding.

Am very relieved after this scan today and feel like I can start to get a little excited now

I’m really glad she checked it so thoroughly, she spent 5 times the time on the cyst rather than baby 😂

I think I'm going to book a scan for Sunday, I'll be a few days short of 11 weeks, then I w will tell family if it looks okay, xxx

Also I have a cyst on my right ovary too xxx

@Moosh18 I wouldn’t disagree on another scan before you tell wider family. It’s nice to have that reassurance first.

Is your cyst bothering you at all? Mine isn’t and she was quite surprised. My cramps which have basically stopped now were all really low down and central. I’ve not had any one sided pains that I have noticed x

So nervous for my scan tomorrow but what will be will be. My spotting stopped towards the end of last week and then Saturday into Sunday I had some through the night was a wee bit red then brown then stopped again Sunday night ! None since but wee cramps now and again nothing sore or anything.
Its so strange having something in your body but it’s so out with your control !!!

@Wannabemo @TTCournumberthree we haven't even told parents yet, 🙈 so would like to tell them. I get the odd cramp in the the side but it feels like stretching!

Spotting pretty much stopped the odd bit of brown now, they said it could go on for a few weeks, I'd rally like to see back of it!!! What time is scan today? Xx

@Moosh18 yeah I’ve had no cramping there at all it’s strange lol. We’re the same no one knows except us, I suppose it’s nice to have someone else to talk about it with but if you’re anything like me I’d rather have the worry out the way first than have everyone stressing like me lol x

@Wannabemo best of luck for your scan today! I’ve not had any spotting or brown discharge now since that week I originally had it. Nurse said yesterday that she could maybe see a old area that could have caused the bleed but it wasn’t big or anything of concern. Probably healed up which is why I haven’t had anymore x

Iv had some more brown cm. Back pain and cramping so I know where this is headed :o I’m also loaded with the flu so it’s making me feel 100 times worse :( scan at 3. Will see how things are but not feeling promising x

I've had a little bit of yellowy discharge since on and off. Still checking myself multiple times a day. The nausea and tiredness has really kicked up a notch though, having to take cyclizine regularly in order to eat. I'll really fancy the thought of something one minute then next thing it knocks me sick!

@Wannabemo brown is old blood don’t think the worst just yet.

@polkadotdasies88 yellow discharge is fine I believe. I’ve been getting a fair amount of discharge more creamy than anything. Nausea is the worst! Had some egg mayo yesterday I can confirm I won’t be having anymore this pregnancy

So midwife from yesterdays scan called, they want to book me in for a MRI scan to check this cyst. Slightly bricking it tbh, aside from having babies I never go to the drs or hospital.

I checked my notes from the private scan and it’s actually doubled in size in 2 weeks, I have a app with the midwife tomorrow so I’ll raise it with her xx

@TTCournumberthree Sending you lots of love, as someone who has spent a lot of time in hospitals throughout their life I still get really anxious with anything new so don't worry about that ❤️
I'm sure it's just so they can keep an eye on it and monitor it closely. Keep us posted, sending you lots of love xx

@TTCournumberthree they normally do leave them, they'll just want to check in a mri that it isn't in a position that would effect baby or make sure it won't twist..

@Wannabemo please don't write yourself off, I had a huuuuge bleed and clots! Plus I've had brown on and off since 6 weeks! X

Great news :) baby grown and heartbeat seen.
6 and a half weeks I’m showing as. Reason for the spotting is the implantation she thinks and she showed me on the screen the wee area it’s most likely to have come from. She thinks if it doesn’t come out a bit itl absorb into the body. Yayyyy x

@Wannabemo awww fantastic news! I told you!!! Sounds like what they said to me!! It's an area of bruising possibly from implantation, think mine mostly came out in one big go, where yours is coming slower! X

@Moosh18 I hope so. It’s so worrying Iv discovered I’m a worrier and a negative Nancy because I’m afraid of being caught off guard x

Thanks for the comments ladies a bit of family time definitely calmed me down lastnight.

With 2 previous sections it’s almost certain I’ll have another (prayers and fingers crossed everything with baby continues to go well) so if it’s still too large they’ll likely remove it then.

I am so glad that the midwife at the hospital was on it, makes you very grateful for the NHS xx
