Cramping and spotting 5 weeks

Crushed as I write this, had some cramps earlier which were very much like medium AF cramps. Lasted about 15 mins then went away, now a hour later I’ve some light pinkish/brownish spotting but cramps have completely gone.

I’m dreading the worst, last cycle I had a chemical at 4 weeks 3 days. Was just starting to get a little excited thinking lightening couldn’t strike twice. Any one have any similar experiences either good or bad? I’m anxious that as the spotting happened so soon after the cramping that it could end up being another loss but on the other hand I’d assume I’d still be cramping if it were?

@Moosh18 sickness is good! Hormone levels are rising.

I’ve no actual sickness but very queasy, can’t bare the smell of food cooking.

not long till your scan now you’ll feel so much better after you see that baby xx

Feeling crap!! Very pink cm all day seems to be getting a little more and more as the day has went on. I got my bloods checked so have to wait on those results coming back tomorrow.
Feeling down :( can’t see a happy ending and it’s back to back with raw emotions from my last Mc. My DH doesn’t even know Iv been for the bloods as I just can’t put us all through that sadness again! So sorry ladies you are getting my ranting off my chest . Thanks lol sorry to be a Debbie downer xxx

@Wannabemo I’m so sorry to hear that. If its still pink it might be ok.

Even a red bleed doesn’t mean it’s over every time. Just wait and see what your bloods are tomorrow, you’ll know what’s going on then.

@TTCournumberthree yeah your right, I think it’s making me feel worse as not another soul knows, its eased off now thankfully. Here’s to a new day tomorrow what will be will be :) thanks x

@Wannabemo I think either way you should tell your OH. You need some support, we haven’t told anyone yet about our pregnancy we are hopefully going to try and get to 12 weeks before but I know if struggle if OH didn’t know.

@Wannabemo I would definitely speak to husband, it isn't your burden to carry alone 😩 I had two lots of pink spotting and some brown in between too so hopefully it isn't the worst news x

ill see how todays results go and tell him it’s been difficult but he’s been nightshift so I haven’t seen him much either.

@Wannabemo 13:30 I wish it was first thing, my sisters over this weekend and we have a spa weekend planned etc, but I will need to cancel everything if it's bad news :( x

Epu called to say the bloods have more than doubled so defo looks like a new pregnancy and scan booked for Tuesday to see what’s happening in there 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 I have a night out rave/dance I’ll have to get the non alcoholic wine now x

@Wannabemo I had 2 lots of pink/red and then brown. It’s all gone now though just normal discharge now so keep positive.

@Moosh18 not too much longer, you’ve had some good symptoms with the sickness hold on to that xx

@Wannabemo that's fantastic news on hcg!!!! I think if the spotting was something to be concerned about the hcg wouldn't be doubling! Are you going to do an early scan.

Yes the epu have booked me in for Tuesday as I didn’t have a lmp so don’t know how far on I actually am. Hopefully the spotting stays away and stops me from having heart failure every toilet trip lol x

@Wannabemo oh I know it's awful isn't it! I think if I'd had in a previous pregnancy I'd be okay, but I've only ever had it in my miscarriages!

I’m the same my last first pregnancy was a healthy full term one so this is all new to me. My miscarriage I didn’t bleed until 9 weeks after my scan confirmed no growth.
Its a learning curve for sure x

@TTCournumberthree it went well, heartbeat was 165 and measuring two days ahead.... but when she was scanning me I felt a cramp, then went to the loo and there was loads of blood jusy gushed out of me, she re scanned after and it all looked fine and she couldn't see a bleed, so I just don't understand I'm absolutely in bits

@Moosh18 im glad to hear the scan went well. It’s just one of those things isn’t it that can’t be understood. If it was anything that would interfere with the baby surely would have been spotted? I think you need a few days bed rest xx

Glad baby is ok, sorry to hear about the bleeding you would have got a fright! Rest up . Glad they re scanned you at that moment x

@Wannabemo the bleeding isn't stopping so I'm really panicking x

Really :( maybe the scan has irritated you a bit I’m sure it’s all very sensitive the now x
