Hi, jumping on!
Got my bfp although it was a faint line it was definitely a line (period not due for two more days and it was middle of the day not fmu) this will be my second I already have a dd who’s 2.5 how are you feeling?

Allaboard2023 · 20/10/2022 22:10

Aw congratulations!!! My first responses were faint, definitely there but not as dark but that was 5 days before at due. I've taken a clear blue digital today 4 days before at and got pregnant!

Aside from the test I wouldn't know I was pregnant, I had a chemical last month and I had a few symptoms, boobs were crazy sore but nothing now.

I had very light spotting yesterday which has stopped so hoping it's nothing to worry about.

I have a 6 year old, going to try and keep quiet until 12 weeks as we had such a difficult pregnancy with her followed by a couple of chemicals so still not feeling it's real yet but keeping everything crossed.
How are you feeling x

Hi folks, my due date will be 30 June so I'm kindof between the June and July boards! 4+2 today and feeling pretty wrecked! I had a chemical last month so I'm quite anxious, hoping everything goes ok!

Laurull · 23/10/2022 14:33

Hello! Please can I have the link to the facebook page?

Also will it definitely not show to my Facebook friends if I join?

Thank you!

Artharp · 23/10/2022 16:08

Been taking tests all week and the lines been getting darker so I’m delighted about that

I’m feeling ok, just have such a dry mouth and so thirsty which is exactly how I felt the last time!

timotam · 23/10/2022 16:09

I've had my BFP two days ago so joining 🥰 feel really really anxious though, feels too good to be true after a long TTC journey. Just praying it sticks

Artharp · 23/10/2022 16:09

Hi congratulations! It’s such an anxious time isn’t it. Is this your first?

Sorry this was in reply to trulymiss just getting the hang of this mumsnet thing 😂

TrulyMiss · 23/10/2022 19:16

@Artharp I already have a nearly 2 year old but I don't remember being as anxious with him. Maybe because I found out at the start of April 2019 and if felt like the work was ending 😂 maybe also I just know of so many people who've had losses since then. Anyway I'll try keep the faith! I gave up testing for the moment as it was just making me worse...

Coffeeforlife · 23/10/2022 20:35

Shuffling aboard nervously. Had a BFP yesterday and slightly darker today. I had a MMC and a load of complications 2 years ago, we'd pretty much given up and gave all the baby stuff away. I'm 40 so thought that was it. I'm so convinced it won't last I haven't even told DH, hoping joining might make it feel more real.

Quirked · 24/10/2022 13:16

Hi all. Just had IVF and my OTD is actually this coming Wednesday. I've had some tests come up positive and others negative but I'm gonna roll with the fact that I must be pregnant and its still early days so some kind of tests may not pick it up. I'm already experiencing symptoms but they could also be my egg collection and embro transfer side effects. Feel very pregnant already!!!

bubble55 · 24/10/2022 19:33

Hey, cautiously dipping my toes into this thread. I had a chemical in July and one in September. I tested Saturday because we had one test left in the house and I wanted to get rid of it, expecting a negative result as not had a “proper” bleed - just my chemical - this month and it came back positive. Did a first response today and got a thick line. Really nervous and scared and don’t want another chemical. Hoping this is my time now 🌈 I already have a toddler. Period is due Wednesday and I don’t know how far I actually am because I didn’t have a proper period! I think I’m 11dpo 🤷🏻‍♀️

Congratulations everyone on the bfps!
I've had a nerve wracking couple of days.

2 days after bfp woke at midnight with sharp pains in shoulder and neck. Ended up with a referral to EPU with concerns of ectopic and for blood tests for HCG. After the first results were in I was called and told 'unfortunately' they were 17 and had been booked back in for a repeat. I got pretty stuck on the 'unfortunately' but obviously spent the night googling and from what I could gather, could just mean I'm earlier and it's the outcome of the repeat that would indicate more.

All pain stopped by the way but I've struggled with severe neck pain so can only assume it was to do with this.

I've been waiting since yesterday for the repeat result and I think the ward clerk took pity and gave me the result which is 39 which shows doubling in 48 hours which looks good. Will still get a call back and would imagine another repeat.

So fingers crossed everything's fine and if I didn't have the pain would be none the wiser about HCG levels.

To the pp poster who said about being more anxious....absolutely!!

For my dd I took one test, not the strongest line but that was good enough for me and never took another,
This time round I'm testing everyday and I can't switch off!! X

Everything crossed for you @Allaboard2023 but sounds very hopeful. Symptoms can be so misleading!x

Coffeeforlife · 27/10/2022 14:48

I've now told DH who seems to be in shock two days later. I'm really distracted from work and also really tired from cutting down on my beloved caffeine. Anyone else struggling to focus?

elll0192 · 27/10/2022 16:21

Hi all - jumping in!

First timer here and I am absolutley sh**ng myself! I found out on Tuesday I am 4+2 with my first baby.

I have had sore boobs, tiredness, period like pains, aching hips, heartburn? and a bit of slight nausea! Oh and struggling to sleep!! So quite a few symptoms lol!

I havent told anybody besides my partner yet, for some reason I am so nervous to tell my mum even though this will be her very first grandchild so I know she will ecastic!!

Is it too early to tell people??

@Coffeeforlife I am really struggling with the cutting down, working in an office it can feel like a loooong day. I think we are still advised around 200mg is okay? Is that right or should I try and go cold turkey?!

Coffeeforlife · 27/10/2022 16:44

@elll0192 congratulations!! Who you tell is very personal, I'd say do what feels most comfortable for you.

I'm not going cold turkey on caffeine but aiming roughly for the 200 target. Mind you with DS2 I didn't know I was pregnant til 8 weeks so was merrily guzzling tea and strong coffee and he's fine...

July2023 · 27/10/2022 17:20

Hi all, did my first test Monday after a chemical
last month and came out positive. I have done 4 since and keep getting darker! I think I am roughly 4+3 today! Excited but so nervous at the same time! Good luck all

bubble55 · 27/10/2022 17:38

@July2023 i am the same as you, conceiving just after a chemical. Fingers crossed for us both 🤞🏼 I think I’m 4w2d but not too sure of my dates now as longer periods because of chemicals :/

Lynsey1679 · 27/10/2022 19:12

Hi there I'm also joining but feeling nervous. I had faint lines for 4 days and then got pregnant on the clear blue early digital. Then got 1-2 weeks on the digital yesterday however I also used a coop test and the line was good last night and was feeling breast tenderness and tiredness however done another coop line test this morning with fmu and the line was fainter than yest and my symptoms have gone. Used my other digital and still showing as pregnant 1-2 weeks but I'm worried something will go wrong. I have had a loss late in pregnancy and a chemical before.

July2023 · 28/10/2022 08:27

Hi, it’s so scary isn’t it. I think I am
roughly 4w4d today! I need to stop taking tests 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

bubble55 · 28/10/2022 08:51

When did you get your 2-3 @July2023 ?

totally get it @Lynsey1679 , this is my third pregnancy in 4 months and I’m a nervous wreck but so far so good. I think I’m 4w3d today.

I’m also a serial tester 🙈 but it’s keeping me sane at the moment as my tests are nothing like previous ones. Really want to do a digital but I want my 2-3 or 3+! Xx
