11dpo today, lines are still faint but I have had a positive digital. Please be a sticky bean🙏

These look exactly like mine did last Friday on 11dpo too! Congrats ✨🎉
Hoping for sticky beans for everyone 🤞🏻

I have been testing once a day with the East at home and they aren't giving me lines like clearblue or frer.. Might have to get some later to ease my anxiousness haha

I have just been told my app I'm in my 5th week 😊 still don't believe it's real. I have lost my appitie today though.. Is that normal? Anyone else lost all interest in food?

LoisLane22 · 07/11/2022 10:30

I've definitely lost interest in food but I feel OK once I start eating.

Don't know if it's just my imagination but I think I can feel a wee sensation in my back/pelvis. Not pain but a very light pressure type feeling.

@Chaoscontrol thanks, that's reassuring. I am only 3+5 . Af would be due on wednesday/Thursday but I usually start spotting a couple of days before, so anything from tomorrow. I just want to get past this week and hope af doesn't come and then I will feel less anxious about it all!

Have a mild cramping feeling most of the time, I've read this is normal. breasts still tender to touch and feeling very tired and have moments of dizziness.

When is everyone planning to contact the doctors? I imagine a week after a missed period would be about right?

Coffeeforlife · 07/11/2022 10:39

@Chaoscontrol The cheapies can be all over the place. I've got some which seemed to be almost totally random, meanwhile FRERs and the digital weeks ones were showing good progression. I've thrown the rest of my cheapies out because they were doing my head in, I guess that's what you get using 'sort by price' on Amazon ha ha

polkadotdasies88 · 07/11/2022 10:43

@Chaoscontrol I've lost all interest in food too, currently 5w 2d although I've had covid so I'm not sure exactly what is to blame for making me feel rubbish! Definitely feeling waves of nausea kicking in and feeling v v tired today.

Nearlymorning · 07/11/2022 11:00

Can I join? BFP this morning! Smile very happy!

Coffeeforlife · 07/11/2022 11:04

Just heading out to the cake shop to pay for my son's birthday cake. I feel so nauseous, wish me luck Confused

NatalieSF · 07/11/2022 12:13

@Nearlymorning congratulations :) How are you feeling? Got mine on Friday at 9dpo

Olegia · 07/11/2022 12:59

@ScarletDreams I'm also experiencing dizziness/lightheadedness, I've has somewhat low blood pressure, so this might be it

I've already called the midwives, and my first appointment is scheduled for the 25th of November (atr which point I will be 8 weeks pregnant/entering my 9th week), though I've been so scare of losing this pregnancy/missing a miscarriage that I've booked in an echography (private) a week before, so in a week and a half time

cams88 · 07/11/2022 13:53

Just catching up from the last couple of days, hello and congrats to all the new joiners ❤️ My
nausea has started to kick in now and is especially bad in the evenings and night. Not been sick yet but had to sit in the bathroom for about 10 mins last night as I thought I was going to be, I was never sick with my son, just nauseous so I’m hoping I won’t be this time round either. I’m just making the most of DS napping and having a little lie down, he’s been waking so early and the 1st trimester tiredness is something else so I’m getting rest where I can! I’m on my last few weeks of Mat leave so I’m hoping to get the worst of the tiredness/nausea out the way before I have to go back to work… dreading telling them I’m pregnant again already 😬

Olegia · 07/11/2022 14:15

For those moms who already have kids... One of my fears is the sleep depravation I will have the first 2/3 months of the baby's life, I read up a lot about the Snoo bassinet and what a godsend it is, does anyone have any opinions on it?

Nearlymorning · 07/11/2022 15:14

Thank you!

Sleep deprivation is a bit of a killer, there is no way around it and all babies are different but my DS wasn’t too bad at night from about 7 weeks to six months. (It then went to pot a bit!)

But it is not forever. The Snoo bassinet does look lovely but very expensive?

cams88 · 07/11/2022 16:52

The snoo seems to have great reviews and loads of people love them but they are pricey. I’m not sure if you have the option to rent them in the uk like you can in America, which feels a bit
more affordable.

My friend used it and it definitely helped in the early days but then they had issues when it came to transitioning out of the snoo. I think they almost found it harder to deal with the broken sleep at that point as they had got used to sleeping pretty well so I’m not sure they’d say it was worth the money as it kinda just pushed the issue a few months down the line.

Olegia · 07/11/2022 18:33

Absolutely it's very expensive, though we were thinking of buying it second hand (which is still pretty expensive), and then re-selling it once we're finished with it.

I did hear that about transitioning out of it too actually, which kind of worries me

shibeshibe · 07/11/2022 19:51

Congrats on all the new joiners!

I've been worrying myself that something will go wrong because while I've had nipple soreness and still do, the nausea and slight cramping I had has eased off in the last two days. Need to stay away from Dr. Google!

Anyway trying to focus on other things, the hospital booking team just called me to get my first midwife appointment in at 8 weeks and I have an early scan booked on week 7. Exciting times :)

@Olegia thanks for your reply, I'll have to get this week out of the way and make sure af doesn't arrive and then I will phone to get my appointments. I may also look in to an early private scan!

MamaSJ15 · 07/11/2022 21:03

Hi all, jumping on, got my bfp at 12dpo today, AF would be due tomorrow so still a bit cautious at the moment. But got a definite line on a FRER! We've been TTC our second baby for about a year now with 2 early losses thrown in there too. We have a 3 yr DD 😊
I've not read through all the tread but I'd love to hear where everyone else is on their journeys 😊

Due July 2023
Rutennotou · 07/11/2022 23:27

Hi ladies, thanks for the concern! EPU won't move the scan as there's no significant bleeding and they'd like to keep the week space between my last scan and my next one. Just finding it difficult to keep optimistic as I'm fearing the worst. Thursday isn't too far away and hopefully it'll be good news 🙏

Olegia · 08/11/2022 07:12

@shibeshibe I am in exactly the same situation as you! Worried, not many symptoms (though I've never really had many symptoms at all), and an extra scan booked in on the 7th week (with the 'real' one on the 8th)

@ScarletDreams That sounds like a good idea, when is/was your af due?

Welcome @MamaSJ15 !!

@Rutennotou Thinking of you! Did they say that bleeding that is not 'significant' isn't a cause for concern then?
Keep us updated anyway :-)

Surreyfirsttimemum · 08/11/2022 07:39

Congratulations! So Sorry to hear about your earlier losses. We’ve been ttc 5 months for our first so feeling very lucky that this has happened so fast which wasn’t at all expected because I have suspected endometriosis (not yet confirmed via surgery). Crossing fingers and toes for sticky beans for us all xx

I am the same, little symptoms. Only real constant is bad bloating and my boobs are sore. I reffered myself to a midwife team yesterday and as I am new to this I have no idea what to expect.. I wished to hear back yesterday but I've heard nothing yet. My friend has advised to give it a few days before I email to ask. I'm really hoping for an appointment at 8 weeks - do you think this will include a scan?

How is everyone feeling today? ✨

AF was meant to arrive yesterday and she's not here.. Makes it feel a tiny bit more real but I can't stop wanting to test to make sure. Maybe I'll just use them up haha x

polkadotdasies88 · 08/11/2022 10:40

I've woke up this morning feeling so anxious 😭I'm not sure if it's my hormones making me feel so bad but I've really had to calm myself down & keep getting waves of panic. I don't have any reason to think anything bad but yet I am.
My boobs have been sore & I was feeling nauseous but both seem to have eased off which of course is worrying me. I've been testing daily but the thought of doing that now is making me feel anxious, I've ordered myself a Clearblue digital test to see if I get 3+ (I'm 5w 3d) but I'm too scared to do it now incase I don't get it.

Never thought I'd be so worry some 😢

We are all here to support each other.

It's natural to feel anxious over it, it's difficult as it's such an unknown but you are getting there and will get there. I test daily too. I 4w2d and don't believe it yet as I'm sure it won't last or its just jot real. I bought more yesterday and organised them so I could do one big one a week and a small, easy at home, every day.

You will get there. It'll be okay. We are all in the same boat and here to talk x

Nearlymorning · 08/11/2022 11:13

It’s normal to feel very anxious. It does abate a lot I think, as you go through the weeks. In the early weeks it just doesn’t feel real. My AF isn’t due till Saturday technically speaking (although I’m fairly sure I ovulated a bit early in October) and so in terms of counting weeks I’m not even pregnant! But I have taken three tests now and they all say pregnant. I ordered a digi from Amazon which should arrive today.

squirrelnutkins1 · 08/11/2022 12:39

Co Norah's on all the bfp's!
Anyone else having intermittent bellyache? It's not severe, more annoying than anything!
