Hi all,

Cautiously joining. 10dpo today and had a faint positive on a cheapie. Took another clear blue this afternoon (as I couldn’t wait for tomorrow and fmu 🙈) and another faint positive. Hoping they get stronger as the days go on. I'd be due 20th July.

@Bertiebean It's such an intense feeling isn't it. Whenever my husband and I talk about the pregnancy I'm saying "If it all works out" He was asking me before about how we'd announce at Christmas if everything went well, I initially joined in but then just couldn't bring myself to think that far ahead.

Aww no, hope it soon eases for you but definitely enjoy the rest. I'm doing the same on the sofa today. Catching covid has at least allowed me to lay low without anyone questioning me!

polkadotdasies88 · 06/11/2022 16:46

@ScarletDreams That's a good line for 10dpo! I only found out on what I think was 13dpo but I hadn't been tracking that month & my line then wasn't as strong as that. It's nerve wracking isn't it!

We were discussing this today also - said how we would wait for a scan picture to show people/family at Christmas etc. but I refused to even think it was real.
The days seem to be going to slow and the urge to constantly test is killing me.. I test fmu and mid evening, easy at home ones are super slow to develop, I might get some last frer tomorrow and just do one a week. I think testing is keeping me sane.. Or is it driving me insane?

Hope you're feeling okay, rest up. X

Hi, Tentatively joining. I'm 5w 1 day pregnant with our first. I have an auto immune condition so I had no idea if I'd even get pregnant & now of course I'm worrying will I stay pregnant. To top it off I tested positive for Covid two days after my bfp!!! I've been feeling pretty rough with covid & that's been worrying me.

I am struggling with anxiety, checking every time I go to the toilet & panicking at every little twinge. My boobs have been quite sensitive on & off which again worries me! I'm not sure if it's the pregnancy or covid which is making me feel sickly at the moment.

So reassuring to read everyone else's comments and know I'm not alone, especially in these early days when no one else knows.

Hi I’m 5w 3 days and autoimmune too. I called my rheumatologist last week and I’ve been put on clexane daily injections. If you contact your dr they might do the same for you. My first positive and I’m constantly worrying but trying to be positive.

I’ve had cramps/ tightening in stomach on and off. My boobs aren’t sensitive at all. I’ve had major acid issues though and I am really hungry. If I don’t eat, I feel sick. My BMI is below recommended so not too worried about putting on weight.

My friend had covid when 6 weeks pregnant and was fine. Delivered a healthy baby, I’m sure will be same for you. Sending you strength x

Thelongwayround · 06/11/2022 17:24

Another cautious joiner, if that’s okay? I have a short LP so although I’m only 10DPO my period was due today and I got a very faint positive this morning! This is my fourth pregnancy, I have a 4yo but I’ve had two losses in the last 12 months so I’m extremely nervous.

I had a feeling this was the month because I have been bone tired all week and my boobs feel quite sensitive - I can see some others have had similar!

ScarletDreams · 06/11/2022 17:41

@polkadotdasies88 thank you, fingers crossed for a sticky bean for us all!! Yes, it really is nerve wracking!!

timotam · 06/11/2022 17:47

Also taking endless tests to try and reassure myself 😅 anyone else getting a private early scan? Think we're going to get one for next week. Also going to have to tell my manager this week too, earlier than I wanted to, but I have 3 appointments now booked in and we're so short staffed I won't be able to have it off without genuine reason 😬

@Carly2014 It's so reassuring to chat to someone else in the same situation! I've left a message with my Rhumatology nurse this afternoon so hopefully I'll hear back from them tomorrow. I'm also due my arthritis injection this week but don't know what to do whilst I'm still testing positive for Covid. I was telling myself I'd maybe never see two lines on a test and now they're popping up everywhere!!!

I've had cramps too on and off, this morning & yesterday I had an upset stomach so wondering what that's all about. I feel as though I had quite a few symptoms before my bfp but they seem to not be as strong now. I also feel so hungry in evenings!

That's so reassuring to hear about your friend, thank you ❤️

Totorotoes · 06/11/2022 18:22

Hello, I am another very cautious joiner please! I don't have a partner and have had IVF, and last month I had a chemical. I have been feeling nauseous since 3 days after my transfer this time. Today was my test day (may have also tested early though!) and I am 4 weeks today and due 16th July.
I am so, so, so anxious! I've been close to a panic attack. I just can't relax, and I want to keep testing but the fear of testing negative is also unreal. Today's FRER looked the same as 2 days ago so of course now I'm fearing the worst. And I've got to tell my boss this week as my job involves manual handling.
And now i feel ungrateful as I know I am so lucky to be in this position at all!! I'm sort of glad to know I'm not the only anxious one here though, it seems very common. Good luck to you all!

polkadotdasies88 · 06/11/2022 18:25

@Chaoscontrol It is really hard to believe it at the moment, I think I'm just in the mind set of waiting on something to go wrong.
I'm the same about testing, I've exhausted all of my other tests but I'm on my one step tests now. I'm debating to get another clearblue digital to see if I get 3+ but then I think I'll just get myself in a state if it doesn't say it. Can't win I don't think!

polkadotdasies88 · 06/11/2022 18:27

@Totorotoes You're absolutely not alone, I've come so close to a panic attack a few times now just panicking about everything. I think anxiety is normal but please know you are not alone ❤️❤️

MrsHopefull18 · 06/11/2022 18:29

Coffeeforlife · 06/11/2022 18:48

Congratulations to all the new joiners. I'm still feeling really anxious, I wouldn't wish it on anyone else but it really helps to share in a safe space and hear others stories so thanks for being here x

firsttimemam8 · 06/11/2022 18:51

Cautiously joining - me and my wife are on our second cycle of IUI and have had positive tests on Ultra Earlies.

Need to take test on Wednesday but feeling rotten at the moment - been getting headaches every night and now been getting stabbing pains in my waist - can't help but worry this means it's not going to hold.

Up all night with panic last night and spent the day lying about trying to catch up sleep - think I'm driving myself crazy 🤦‍♀️

Totorotoes · 06/11/2022 19:07

@polkadotdasies88 thank you so much, it really does help to hear that. @Coffeeforlife sorry to hear you are so anxious too. But as @polkadotdasies88 says, we are not alone in feeling this way. I think anxiety may oddly be a good sign- it shows that our hormones are changing! At least that's what I am telling myself....

polkadotdasies88 · 06/11/2022 19:41

@Totorotoes I'd never thought about the fact hormones could be making the anxiety worse but it makes sense! I feel better now you've said that, thank you ❤️

Totorotoes · 06/11/2022 19:46

@polkadotdasies88 no worries, I am just imagining this is like a MASSIVE dose of PMT with all the hormones flying around! 😂

polkadotdasies88 · 06/11/2022 20:11

@Totorotoes I love that!!! just closed my eyes for what I thought was ten minutes on the sofa, turns out I nodded off for almost an hour! I'm blaming hormones for that too 😂

NatalieSF · 06/11/2022 21:11

LouLa7 · 06/11/2022 22:55

Hi ladies! Just wanted to join this thread as I'm currently on a June one but due 30th June/1st July roughly! Currently 6 weeks and struggling with sickness and nausea so badly x

Rutennotou · 06/11/2022 23:00

Hi ladies, congrats on all the new BFPs!

I've just started having cramps and passed a small clot, little bit of reddish brown bleeding. The scan on Thursday morning seems so far away, I am just not optimistic at all ☹️ My symptoms have all but disappeared today too.

Coffeeforlife · 07/11/2022 07:33

@Rutennotou sending hugs, try not to assume the worst. Is there any way they could move the scan up?x

Olegia · 07/11/2022 08:06

Hi everyone and happy monday, welcome to all the new joiners!

@Rutennotou sorry to hear that, could you call and see if you could move the appointment earlier? Sending warm hugs your way!

For those of you who all complain of morning sickness/nausea, this is a great potential help: nutritionfacts.org/video/natural-treatments-morning-sickness/#:~:text=The%20recommended%20dose%20is%20a,four%20cups%20of%20ginger%20tea.

I'm currently in my 6th weeks (5 weeks 3 days pregnant), and don't have any symptoms apart from slightly bigger/sore boobs. Initially i was a bit worried, but I've been testing Big Fat Positives throughout, and my sister and my mom also had very little symptoms when they are had their kids

Currently taking tests 2 times a day (I know...) and checking every time I'm in the bathroom for any small amount of blood

ScarletDreams · 07/11/2022 08:48

11dpo today, lines are still faint but I have had a positive digital. Please be a sticky bean🙏
