Joining in as well, due 13th Nov.

It's only when I get to this late stage I remember the groups. What can I say, misery loves company. 🤷‍♀️

This has to be my most difficult pregnancy.Miserable.
Anaemic, constipated and bump is extremely heavy. Have no energy for anything whatsoever. Thankfully midwives getting me an iron infusion.

Baby measuring 2 weeks ahead and I'm just worried about an emcs.
Hope you other lovely ladies are having it better than I am. 💐

CurlsnLipstick · 15/10/2022 23:18

@Beanniebaby22 it's confusing sometimes. Not everyone experiences the same thing.
They felt like menstrual cramps for me - slight tightenings that aren't really regular. Came and went but nothing too serious.

greenerfingers · 15/10/2022 23:31

Mine felt like a hard tummy that would soften after a bit then tighten again and become very hard. It would happen regularly for a bit till I rested. I hardly got them first time but this time I'm so on the go I feel like I'm just carrying a really hard bowling ball.

I feel your pain @CurlsnLipstick. This pregnancy has been really tough and even now I don't know how I'll physically cope with the pelvic girdle pain for another few weeks. Each day as it comes! I want another baby in future and have no idea how I'll deal with pregnancy again. Such a miserable time for me with hyperemesis and pelvic girdle/rib pain. I do love feeling the baby move and that's about it.

I keep taking out the baby stuff and staring at it, I'm so eager to meet the baby now and hope the next 7 weeks fly by (in a good productive way spent with my first) and my body can finally be free again from all this weight and pain.

greenerfingers · 15/10/2022 23:32

So exciting to be so close @Anna783426 !

Skyways · 15/10/2022 23:46

So glad I found this thread. I’m due on the 18th November.

I have horrible pelvic girdle pain, stairs are a nightmare 😑the thought of meeting baby at the end of this is getting me through.
My mucus plug has started to come out and midwife has told me this is normal. I just hope baby doesn’t come early, last thing we need as our house move has been delayed due to some missing paperwork 😖
I haven’t got much baby stuff yet as wanted to move in to new place then start nesting but have baby clothes and things in hospital bag, which i took out to look at today @greenerfingers excited to meet baby then panicking if he or she comes early.

CurlsnLipstick · 16/10/2022 00:04

@greenerfingers thank you for the kind words. Ikwym about wanting another baby in future but can't see past the pregnancy part.

I hope the hyperemesis and pelvic pain gets better. I'm with you on looking forward to having my body back, intact.

The visual I keep imagining is the toast and tea after baby arrives.Keeping me going.

CurlsnLipstick · 16/10/2022 00:08

Congrats @Skyways! You're in good company for 18th.
Sorry to hear about the pelvic pain. I've also been unable to 'nest' with the extreme fatigue, so there's 2 of us. All the best with the move!

Hi all if I'm not too late to be added, I'm due November 26 :)

Beanniebaby22 · 16/10/2022 07:49

@Skyways ahh another due date buddy for the 18th! Will be interesting to see what date all these babies actually arrive 😊

Yeah I get like period cramps low down and back pain, and my bump goes really hard. Does seem to be worse when I’m doing a lot like housework or out shopping. Finding it hard to slow down and rest when there’s so much to do! 😅

blacksheep2014 · 16/10/2022 08:02

Hi guys, I've been lurky but finally ready to rejoin you all after a scare early doors. Baby boy due 24th 😊

tb4122 · 16/10/2022 09:15

Re Braxton Hicks, my bump has gone hard for 30 seconds or so fairly regularly since about 28 weeks (now 35) but it's been a tight feeling low down rather than anything painful. Yesterday I was doing some decorating and I got what was much more like a period cramp, somewhat painful/uncomfortable. So not sure which is a Braxton Hicks, or if both are?

CurlyNo2 · 16/10/2022 10:17

Welcome to our new ladies! Ooh a due date buddy @blacksheep2014

when I get braxton hicks, my bump feels like it’s been vacuum packed and goes really tight. It gets a one sided bulge where babies back is. My whole upper body feels like it’s in a spasm and my heart races. I got this thought out my first pregnancy from as early as 20weeks. This time they were a bit later and normally after I’ve overdone things x

Hi again everyone, and welcome to the new due date buddies for the 18th!

I had my 34 week appointment last week and mentioned a few sypmtoms to my midwife, thought they were all totally normal and unrelated, general pregnancy things. She went into action mode saying "I wasn't going to do bloods but now I am". I had no idea that they were actually related and indicated an iron deficiency.

Unfortunately my prescription has been sent to a pharmacy that only seems to be able to dispense on Tuesdays once in a blue moon between 1:00-1:02. I'll keep trying to collect it!

Bubblegum20 · 16/10/2022 13:42

I thought thread 3 had gone a bit quiet 😂 just found this one now!

@Anna783426 how exciting, think you might be the first one to have your little one from this group! Hope your induction goes smoothly and doesn't take too long to get things going for you 🤞🏼

dreamcatchmee · 16/10/2022 15:00

Hi all, not sure if my comment posted or not but I'm due 26th November. Second baby. Hope everyone is doing well x

KatRee · 16/10/2022 16:33

Thanks @greenerfingers and @ALittleBitofVitriol

Sorry so many of you have been having difficult pregnancies. I feel like I've got off relatively easily so far, my biggest whinge is difficulty sleeping which seems to be half- psychological- mind super active all night, and half the aches and pains- I find I get pain from my hip all the way to my knee when I lie on one side for any length of time and I can feel about a million knots in my thighs!

Also my fingers have swollen up all of a sudden and not sure if this is something to be concerned about or just a normal thing this late on. Have had swollen ankles for weeks and weeks, which always go back down overnight, but now waking up with fat and painful fingers

Beanniebaby22 · 16/10/2022 16:39

@KatRee I would get that checked out just incase!

TFMinx · 16/10/2022 17:16

Just wanted to come on and say ARGH! DH has decided that the name we had decided on for the past 8months, he is now having doubts about. And now he's said this, it has seen a seed of doubt with me, although I still really like it. Apparently he likes it but isn't one hundred per cent sure. I'm 37 weeks on Wednesday so she could come any time, and will if she's like DS or follows my midwife's prediction!

I don't want my baby to not have a name or have a name one of us doesn't love! 😩

@TFMinx I agree about both wanting to love the name. I remember before my son was born I said to my husband is that the right name, he was like you're over thinking it, which i definitely was and we did call him that name. Maybe you could stick with it but not let everyone know until she's here and you meet her and know for sure. I feel like in the end all babies get a name and there's no point stressing if it changes but equally you are going to use it a lot so want to take the time to make sure it's right.

@KatRee I agree, any new swelling I would call the midwife just to check. Its one of the questions the consultant anyways asks me as can be a sign of more. Obviously for lots of people it's also v normal.

Welcome to all the new people and those coming back into the chat. Ah I cannot wait until the babies start arriving!!

My toddler has started doing this annoying cough/pretending on gasp for air thing when he doesn't get his way. It's like he thinks we will think he's dying and let him get away with stuff. Counting down to bedtime. 😆

NotAdultingToday · 16/10/2022 18:05

Im not sure how to post a link in the old thread? Im using the app so not sure if that is the problem.

Bit late as usual 😂 but i alternate my sleep position from left to right all night. I tried to stay on my left but i wake up with pains in my knees so i turn around hopefully its not doing any harm!

I am a grumpy bunny I have pain in my groin and have constant pressure on my chest and on and off cramps (to be fair they arnt that painful just adds to everything else!)

On the plus side im on maternity now and plan to sleep while ds is in school with a little bit of housework thrown in, i am looking after myself because i need to!

@TFMinx how annoying! Im sure you will find something 😊
My husband keeps poo pooing all the names i like and vice versa so so far this baby is called no2

NotAdultingToday · 16/10/2022 18:19

Oh and my breasts are so sore and my hands a stiff and swollen im very sure it wasnt like this with ds!

@OtiMama i feel you, my ds is acting like hes on speed all the time I cant keep up i live for bed time. Buti miss him when hes at school

Hi everyone, not been on in a while as has been a stressful few weeks with sorting our house out. Still ongoing but hoping will be ready in couple of weeks and it will be enough time for me to nest because I’m convinced baby is going to come early eeek. 34 weeks now and every time I stand up I want to wee - anyone else?! No urine infection just the pressure!

CurlyNo2 · 16/10/2022 18:20

We still don’t have a name for baby! We need to come up with one of each as we are having a surprise.

I’ve decided to finish work earlier than planned, supposed to be in 2.5 weeks but I am really struggling with PGP, low blood pressure and just pregnancy in general.

Does anyone else feel like the 2nd time around is much more harder? I dunno if it’s because I’m 6 years older, I’m 38 now but it’s really taking its toll on me.

Im also so excited for all our babies to start arriving, although not too soon.. still got loads to do!
