Hey ladies, I wonder if anyone would like to join me, I'm 4 weeks pregnant and am terrified! I lost a baby in June at 12 weeks and had to have surgical management, I'm so so anxious now!

Would anyone else like to join me on our journey! X

Hello,
I am also 4 weeks pregnant and lost the last pregnancy in March.
fingers crossed I get to meet this baby.
I have a lovely 3 year old already, and found pregnancy tricky first time round.
how are you feeling so far?

onelostsoulswimminginafishbowl · 13/10/2022 07:44

Also 4 weeks but very anxious. I had a MMC in March and just can't relax at all.
I had my first bloods done yesterday and levels are looking good (I am under a fertility doctor). My second bloods will be on Tuesday to make sure they are still rising. Having quite bad cramps which is not helping with the anxiety!

Moosh18 · 13/10/2022 08:19

@MrsFloraPoste congratulations! How are you feeling? I'm okay at min, the odd cramp (which I hate) and extreme tiredness but nothing else! Xx

@onelostsoulswimminginafishbowl congratulations!! I'm so so anxious too, my Mmc at 12 weeks but stopped growing at 10, it nearly broke me, but I'm praying all is okay this time, I have cramps too they are just the worst, but I do remember having them in my successful pregnancy, I had them in Mc too, so really trying to not overthink x

I’m not particularly crampy. I have a pinching sensation in the ovary area on and off and am tired and headachey. Oh and bloated!
I think the best thing I can do is try and think about other things and stay busy.
Nice to know I’m not alone 😊

Moosh18 · 13/10/2022 09:01

@MrsFloraPoste I'm so so bloated! I literally couldn't fasten my jeans! I'm going on holiday in two weeks so hopefully that'll give me another focus for a week! X

Sorry about your loss and congratulations for this pregnancy! I had a chemical 2 cycles ago and got a very faint line this morning at 9DPO.

I know it's way too early to be testing but I'm human and can't control myself 😁 AF due on Tuesday, so trying my hardest not get my hopes up until next week - the anxiety is real!

Moosh18 · 13/10/2022 09:11

@wanttoplayboardgames I said o wouldn't test and did at 9 and got a positive! Wish I hadn't now as feel like I've added a week on!!

Congratulations to you too! Xx

My main symptom has been fatigue, I could seriously sleep 15 hours a day if possible! The odd twinge etc in my tummy, but had I not been in the TWW not sure I'd have noted it.

Due to previous loss and an anomaly blood test (waiting for specialist appointment) I've rang my doctors this morning to see if I should be taking aspirin.

Other than that, counting the days until AF... finger crossed for us ❤️

Moosh18 · 13/10/2022 10:20

@wanttoplayboardgames the fatigue is so bad, I'm literally struggling to keep my eyes open. Is there anything to be done for it? I do remember it with my first and it didn't last but it's so bad x

If it sticks, fhis will be my first (third pregnancy though!) - I'm not sure what helps - duvet on the sofa as soon as humanly possible will be my approach 😂

Positivethoughts92 · 13/10/2022 12:27

Hi I would love to join this thread too, I found out this week I am 4 weeks pregnant too and the anxiety is high after a MMC at 9 weeks in July. Trying to get through the next few weeks before I can get a scan and praying everything will be ok this time. I have had a few cramps on and off but apart from that no symptoms so far 🙈 x

Moosh18 · 13/10/2022 13:07

@Positivethoughts92 congratulations!! Honestly MC robs the joy of it I swear!!

Is everyone still testing? I keep testing to make sure lines are going darker, but I don't know why, it makes no diff, my lines stayed dark with MMC! I think we will do a scan at 8 weeks xx

OP posts:
wanttoplayboardgames · 13/10/2022 14:18

I'll test everyday until a scan - I have the more expensive ones and internet cheapies. I'll not buy any more so will mix and match and that should see me through (yes, very stocked up!).

I don't know when to book an early scan in for though, I'm 4 weeks today, but I ovulate on cycle day 19, which is about a week later than average (32 day cycle) - so I'm guessing I should book a private scan 'from 6 weeks' for 7+ weeks?!

Mayfield87 · 13/10/2022 14:27

Hey can I join? I'm 4 weeks pregnant too. Missed period earlier this week as have 25 day cycle and tested early at 10dpo on a frer. Getting good line progression but waiting another week to do a digital weeks test. This will be my second baby and already feel much more relaxed than the first time as I had horrendous anxiety the whole way through my first pregnancy.
Feeling okay other than tiredness but my sickness hit me at 7 weeks first time round so just waiting for that 🙈

Moosh18 · 13/10/2022 14:32

@Mayfield87 congratulations!!! My sickness hit at bang on 7 with DD, but I'm already so so tired and have felt a little sick today.

@wanttoplayboardgames I only have one Frer left and some of the cheap ones, once I've used them I'm going to try and stop! I have up to 45 day cycles! Ovulated on day 27 this time so nhs are putting me ahead by about a week or so! X

Hey everyone - tentatively joining 👋
so sorry for your losses and baby dust to all!
I have had 2 early losses in Feb and June 2022 and just got a positive today following a monitored cycle with letrozole, 5000 hcg trigger shot and progesterone. Shot was 13 days ago and currently 11DPO - still quite worried that the bfp is a falsey from remnant hcg…although hoping that it wouldn’t show so clearly 13days after getting it!

ireneadler101 · 13/10/2022 16:37

Hi all, I'd like to join too. Got my BFP on Saturday so I'm 4+6 but I think I'm actually more like 4+2 as I ovulated late in my cycle (Day 21). I also had a loss at 11 weeks back in April so I am quite anxious and like others, can't wait to get a scan to see if all is well. Very few symptoms so far (a bit of nausea and tiredness, but not everyday), and I'm still breastfeeding my two year old which also causes me some anxiety! All of the research suggests it's perfectly safe, but I can't help but worry!

allgoodthings84 · 13/10/2022 17:01

Hi everyone. I’m so sorry for all of you who have had losses. I’m pretty sure I had a CP last cycle (cycle 4 ttc) but got my bfp today (cycle 5) so will be 4 weeks. Well my last period was 4 weeks ago tomorrow but I still ovulated 14dpo (12day LP) so same as someone with a 28 day cycle who ovulated 14dpo

I’m very very nervous. It’s been 8 years since I found out about my last pregnancy and I can’t even remember what to do 😂. I’m scared it won’t stick it’s so badly wanted

blueberry23 · 13/10/2022 19:04

Hi! I'm almost 5 weeks pregnant. Nervous as bad two previous miscarriages. But all seems to be going great this time.

I have no symptoms except feeling quite bloated.

With my son I think the nausea kicked in around 6 weeks so trying to enjoy feeling normal.

Lovely to meet you all and @Mayfield87 I recognise your name from our 2WW thread x

toucanfly · 13/10/2022 19:11

Hi everyone. Really glad to have seen this thread. Congratulations to all of you! So sorry to hear about those who have experienced miscarriage. I am hoping for sticky beans for us all!

I am 4 weeks, I also have a 5yr old DD. This pregnancy was very much planned for and I am so grateful to be pregnant, however really struggling to feel excited becayse im so worried at the mo. Hoping these next few weeks will fly by xx

Moosh18 · 13/10/2022 20:36

Congratulations all!!!! ❤️

Hopefully we can reassure each other as we go! I only have mild cramps but they are scaring me! I just want to fast forward to like December 😂 how lovely that we all won't have to hide it at Christmas! I was 12 weeks on Christmas Eve with my DD, they are going to have very close birthdays!

blueberry23 · 13/10/2022 21:39

@Moosh18 my son is a winter baby and I loved being heavily pregnant in winter, and I'd lost my baby weight by summer.

I'm so excited and grateful to be pregnant but concerned I won't love being heavily pregnant in spring/summer 😆

Did you like it first time around?

Moosh18 · 14/10/2022 06:22

@blueberry23 I was heavily pregnant during that huge heatwave in 2021! It was so so hard, especially considering I was a maid of honour at 37 weeks 😂😂 but I found it easier when I wasn't worrying about her being cold etc, and we had her birthday party in summer this year and it was lovely! The baby we lost would of been due this Christmas Day!! I think that's worse 😂
