@calimc83 Three so far isn't too bad. Fear the novelty will wear off soon - at the mo the older two are both really sweet, lots of kisses and cuddles. I think when I can go out for longer walks they might be happier - still walking a bit gingerly now...
Think we're lucky in that we didn't lose a night's sleep, so didn't start with a huge deficit. I coslept with my first two, and am doing with her too. Though last night she lay there for about half an hour making snuffly noises and hiccoughing, and then vommed everywhere, so slightly less calm and peaceful than hoped...

@Annny27 same as me then, they have just rung me and said the scan department have cancelled my scan for next week as he's not under 3rd centile so it'll be a week Monday now. Hopefully he puts a bit on in 2 weeks 🤞🏻

@Mrs173 @ZoeQ90 gosh early pregnancy after loss is sooo hard. I feel for you but it does get better for sure - hope the little beans behave.

How funny most people on this thread seems so be having 'small babies' and extra growth scans for it! 34 weeks today for me and on Thursday have my second growth scan as I also measured small on fundal height and then scan said baby's tummy is on the 12th centile. Been very stressed the last two weeks and feel so guilty that may have affected the growth but I am hoping she's caught up by Thursday. I am also waiting to see how the scan goes and decide if a home birth would be possible or not.

I had to have a growth scan because I’d dropped from 99 to 75 on fundal height. When I had the scan baby was measuring on the 30th. 2 weeks later I went for repeat scan and baby was the measuring on the 75/80th. Gone from 3.7 to 6.1 in 3 weeks. So I have to go back next week (after 2 weeks) as they’re saying if she grows that much again potentially we may have to be induced/C-section early. I wish they’d leave me alone to be fair, I don’t really believe that they’re particularly accurate?? I’ve gone up and down up and down since they’ve been measuring, I don’t think babies grow in a straight line 🙄 xx

Im 5+2 so early days.
Every time I feel even slightly... damp down there I am convinced I will be bleeding.

I am exactly a year on with same due date as my first pregnancy so lots of reminders.
First pregnancy was conceived on honeymoon and I am convinced that this one was conceived on our anniversary trip back to the same hotel!

@barneymcgroo oh cute! 🥰 newborns are so noisy aren't they..I remember finding that so hard when u first get them home @Skl2021 sleep deprivation is the worst. Is your OH good at getting up as well? And can someone remind me when the 2nd trimesters energy boost is supposed to kick in?! Feel like a dead man walking at the mo 😫🙈 x

@Prayingformyrainbow93 my growth scans went from 3rd centile upto 10th then two weeks later suddenly jumped to over 50th?! Then 2 weeks later stayed at 50th 🤦 last growth scan estimated baby at 7lb 2 and he was born 3 days later at 6lb so mine was way off! I also had the whole induce early if baby keeps growing at that rate and then I got induced as he didn't grow 🙈 was different story every week! X
@calimc83 yes he's amazing at night feeds it's me that's shit 🤦 but he will be back to work next week so I need to get my shit together 🙈🤣 I was tired 24/7 without a newborn 🙊 and I didn't get the energy boost! Constant tired mess through pregnancy just the sickness eased 🙌 x

@Arwen7 I'm also due to have growth scans in case baby is small because of low PAPP-A, have my fingers crossed he's growing okay in there 🤞 I hope you can have the home birth you want ❤️

@Skl2021 oh god...I 💯 think that's going to be me as well, the headache phase has also kicked in! My DH is also great at them..my issue is I can't get back to sleep after doing them so I really struggle! Argh...🙈 can u nap through the day at all? X

@Arwen7 hopefully you can have a home birth 🤞🏻 I was blaming myself for a while aswell but realistically it just is what it is I'm eating not like I've been starving him please don't blame yourself lovely 💕

@arianasky @Arwen7 I have gained 30 pounds and baby is still teeny tiny so definitely not lack of calories!! Haha

Some babies are just small ♥️🙈

Who is next, @Annny27? I will be 36 week in a few days and I can't believe it. Still reading stuff and trying to stay calm but also can't believe it should happen so soon, and it's my first so really hard to imagine what to expect. Hoping for a water birth 🤞🏻
To all of you early in pregnancies, hang in there, it's so nerve racking and weeks drag until 12w and then around that time weeks literally start flying by 🙈

Yeah @Skl2021 thats what I mean I think they cause unnecessary worry! My DP is so worried about it all, he was in tears when the consultant was telling us of all eventualities!! How far along was you then when they actually decided to induce? I really want to avoid that at all costs like you, but I guess we have to do whatever is right for the baby at the time! Hopefully the scan next week will give some more clarification! I will be 37 weeks then!
How are you getting on with the new little addition? Xx

@calimc83 yes I probably can when things calm down and we don't have appointments and visitors. Have to grab sleep when ya can 🙈 haha at least u wake up I'm like trying to wake the dead 🙈 I'm so out of practice. X

@Prayingformyrainbow93 I also cried at the consultant the first time we got told baby was small as it was such a shock. He was small at all my appointments until 37 weeks were he apparently had that massive growth spurt and then it was oh we may have to induce now due to being to big if he grows again the same at the next scan 🤦. Then I had next scan at 39 weeks as I had them every 2 weeks and he hadn't grown so I got induced then. So I made it quite far and hopefully u do too 🤞 I obviously didn't want an induction but it was safer for him to come out. They did offer me the option of c section if the induction didn't work but thankfully didn't need it. But yes every scan was stressful and not very accurate I felt like I was not in control of anything or couldn't plan anything I was just waiting for the next scan and a new plan 🙈 I'm not doing to bad just tired and trying to find a new normal! X

Hi everyone!
I had a MMC in August, followed by surgical management. Then fell pregnant again two weeks later! Same day as my vvfp I had a huge bleed which lasted six days but tests kept getting darker. Had another bleed the week after with cramps and had a scan only to show a gestational sac in the right place. HCG levels also good. I'm now 5+5. Still early days and I'm terrified of course. I have a very heavy feeling in my uterus but luckily no more cramping. I seriously can't believe how different this all is compared to my first pregnancy with my daughter (she's four). Only the queasiness is the same!

Colostrum related. I was leaking colostrum from very early on, around 16 weeks, then it stopped around 30 weeks, now I only get dry, crusty nipples, sorry tmi, I am 37 weeks now and planning to collect colostrum, any advice, will I be able to do it since I haven't been leaking any for a while? Sorry if this is straight forward for some, I'm really not sure... thanks!

@sunnyd67 Even if you're not leaking any, you may still be producing. Have you tried hand expressing? Lots of videos online for how to.

@sunnyd67 not long for you either! As far as I know- what I've learnt from my breastfeeding courses, that shouldn't matter as some women leak early on. I just got my colostrum pack from my midwife today and will give it a go in about 10days or so.

@sunnyd67 exactly the same has happened with me but I think we'll be fine collecting some ☺️ try while in a nice warm bath!

Super late to this party but eeeee! Two thread babies 🥰 congratulations @Skl2021 (and Max) and @barneymcgroo (and baby girl).

Started going to a local pregnancy yoga class and so many of the women there have been open about previous losses and how it impacted on their feelings in pregnancy this time. It was a really nice atmosphere and reminded me a lot of this thread.

Hey, can anyone recommend a decent pregnancy pillow? Thanks xx
