@calimc83 I'm not going to lie I have found it hard adjusting this time. Don't know if it's hormones and lack of sleep but I'm very emotional. My middle child is finding it hardest but he's only 6 and think it's a big change for him so he's been a bit funny with me and he keeps playing up which is understandable. Just hoping things get better as time goes by and we all fit into some sort of routine. Your children are older than mine tho arnt they? X

@Skl2021 I can imagine it's so tough at first trying to adjust. No mine are younger, just turned 5 and just turned 3. They seem to fight like cat and dog at the mo as well 😳 x

@calimc83 AHH I thought yours were older 🤦 you will have your hands full 🙊 my eldest is brilliant but yes they also fight like cat and dog 🙈 my 6 year old has been playing up more and been a bit emotional. We have tried keeping him involved with everything and still doing all the normal things he likes to do so he's not left out. I'm sure he will come round everything is just new ATM it's a big adjustment for them xx

Scan went well today. Approx 8+4. Now just have to wait another 4 weeks for the next one 🙈

I have an induction booked for around 2 weeks time due to growth slowing so in the final countdown now!

@Annny27 unfortunately last time our loss was end of T1 after a great 10 week scan, so I'm not sure when I will feel relaxed! But good to know we are past the initial hurdle

@IWillBeWaxingAnOwl Yay! Hope the next 4 weeks doesn't drag on too long for you!

@Annny27 SO strange! Very weird having a girl. And lovely too 😊. Shopping wise, I have various family members who are desperate to offload girl clothes, so I feel I might not have to buy too much!

@IWillBeWaxingAnOwl it's such a worrying time isnt it :( hoping these next few weeks fo quickly for you and that you start feeling movement fairly quickly which will hopefully ease some worries too ♥️

@barneymcgroo it's so fun going through clothes bundles that family and friends drop off, it's like shopping for free haha :D 🥳🥳🥳

@IWillBeWaxingAnOwl great news. It’s such a hard worrying time but just think this is a new pregnancy and it does not mean it will follow the same course. I can’t seem to follow my own advice though so I fully understand if it’s not possible! I’m 11 +1 today and am hoping to get a scan for next Monday at 12+1 (would be 13+6 by LMP so don’t want to leave it longer incase the early scan was wrong on dates!) I called the hospital to ask when I will hear about my appointment and they still haven’t received a referral 🙄
i can’t seem to think past the 12 week scan at the moment so I just want it out the way!

@IWillBeWaxingAnOwl I'm glad your scan went well. I'm not going to tell you can relax now, because I know how hard it is, you might feel slightly better for a few days before all the emotions can come - at least that's what I was going through. How are you feeling in general?

@Annny27 how many weeks are you now? When have they checked you for a induction? I had a growth scan today that was booked 2 weeks ago as he was dropping off his centile and he's dropped further again today measuring at 4lb9 at 34 weeks and 10th centile and have to have another scan next week. A little worried if I'm honest

@Skl2021 huge adjustment! Plus they're not the baby of the family any more..that must be tough! Hope u are all doing ok and u are managing to get a little bit of sleep? X

@arianasky try not to worry I know it's hard I was exactly in your place with max growing small. It sounds like there keeping an eye on you with the scans. Hopefully baby keeps cooking a while longer yet. Keep positive ❤️ x

@calimc83 yes I'm sure everything will fall into place! Yes we're not to bad sleep deprived! Forgot what having a new born was like I can't handle no sleep 🙈😩 and having to sort the other 2 and school etc. How you doing? X

@Skl2021 yes I remember you had weekly scans for his growth am I right in thinking that's why they induced you? How are you getting on? I hope you're feeling good and baby max is letting you sleep and rest 💕

@arianasky yes I had them from 30 weeks and made it until 39. I had growth scans every other week and then placenta Doppler checks in the weeks between to make sure it was still working properly and that wasn't affecting growth. Yes my growth scan at 39 weeks showed he hardly grew from 37 weeks so was safer to get him out asap. Yes he's amazing 😍 mayb not as much sleep as I would like 🙊🤣 xx

@arianasky I am 37 weeks at the moment and that's why they have booked me in for 39 weeks because of slight dropping and being small for gestational age. I think mine was about 4 lbs 10 at 34 weeks, and then 5lbs 12 at 37 weeks so round about the same percentile! They have been about 10% - 20% on all their scans.

Hopefully the extra growth scans you have show that he is growing on his on curve . How much of a percentile drop was it?

@Skl2021 I thought so, aww love him haha how are the other children with him? I hope you feel good aswell?

@Annny27 ah ok, well I'm 34 weeks today and baby was 4lb9 yesterday so similar to yours. He was 50th at 28 weeks 30th at 32 weeks and 10th yesterday so have another scan on Monday where hopefully he's put on a bit 🤞🏻 I'm not too worried as I was 6lb4 at birth so I was quite small but I am a little scared at the thought of induction

@Annny27 same as me , I was quite small at birth (just under 5 pounds) and also before pregnancy I was quite small so doctors have said I wouldnt grow massive baby! I am also a bit :S about induction but sort of used to the idea now!

@arianasky they always want to hold him and kiss him and they keep saying he's cute 😍 I'm not doing to bad just dont handle no sleep very well 🙈 I recover quite quickly physically. X

Private scan on Thursday at 8 weeks. Still having symptoms but they're not reassuring me as they continued for ages after my miscarriage. I suddenly just don't feel pregnant though. I'm sure it's just protective in case the scan shows bad news. But it's horrible. I felt the same part way through my miscarriage when no one would take me seriously because no cramps and only light bleeding. I just woke up one day and knew. I felt so alone. Now I feel the same. Ugh.

Thinking of you @ZoeQ90 it is so hard not to worry. I had a scan at 6 weeks and saw a heartbeat and then I just suddenly didn’t feel pregnant and kept “knowing” they would tell me baby has stopped and I prepared by husband for it and said we needed a private scan at 8 weeks (on my birthday!!) and even then I was sure it would be bad news but said I didn’t care it was my birthday it would be a rubbish day worrying anyway and everything was fine so all I’m trying to say is while I hear your worries and don’t want to dismiss them as I felt the same with my 2 x MMC when no one would take me seriously - I was wrong this time and I left my anxiety get the better of me. Keep the faith and I really hope it’s great news for you. My scan was 3 weeks ago and I still feel like it could have gone wrong since despite having no cramps and strong symptoms on and off - I’ still haven’t had a date for my 12 week scan and I’m hoping it will be next week so I can get it over and done with! I will never ever be excited for a scan after 2 scans telling me the worst news I absolutely hate them. The moments to find the heartbeat fill me with dread too.
