@Skl2021 ah baby max how lovely 💙 16 minutes wow! Massive congratulations and fingers crossed the jaundice stays away 💙🌈

Arwen7 · 05/10/2022 18:12

Aww so nice to hear that you are both doing well @Skl2021 - bet that was a bit of a surprise and shame you did not have time for pain relief but I hope it helped that it wasn't hours of suffering like last time. So happy for you and your family, enjoy your 🌈 baby xx

Prayingformyrainbow93 · 05/10/2022 18:26

Enjoy the baby bubble @Skl2021 hope you’re all well! Xx

calimc83 · 06/10/2022 06:39

@Skl2021 😆 they have! Thank god..I couldn't look at the email. Made DH open it. Had my 16 week appt and they listened to the heartbeat so that's another weight off my mind. 20 week scan is the next milestone 😬🤞🏻 xx

B1993 · 06/10/2022 07:27

@Skl2021 I've been waiting for your update! I cannot imangine a 16 minute labour!! I always thought mine was quick but it definitely sounds your little guy was in a hurry to meet you both 💙Congratulations again! Enjoy your family time now that you're back at home and both doing well 🥰

arianasky · 06/10/2022 08:09

@Skl2021 I can imagine! I hope your soaking up all of those cuddles and enjoying your newborn bubble 💙 eeee I know starting to get nervous now 🙈

IWillBeWaxingAnOwl · 06/10/2022 09:17

@Skl2021 that has to be some kind of record!!! My cousin was 25 min and I thought that was mega fast

Skl2021 · 06/10/2022 09:21

@calimc83 so glad everything has come back ok. ♥️ Your nearly half way now hopefully u can start to enjoy it a little bit more the further u get! X

@B1993 thankyou ♥️ yes he definitely did not want to wait! It was a shock to the system for all of us I don't think we knew what was happening it was just a blur! So glad it's done 🤦 x

@arianasky yes newborn cuddles are the best 😍 you just have to think of the end result! I was so scared and nervous but you get through it and soon forget the pain! X

Skl2021 · 06/10/2022 09:23

@IWillBeWaxingAnOwl it's not something I would recommend 🤦 we were all in shock and couldn't take it in. And obviously baby was mega shocked so not responding great. Think gravity helped as I stood up he literally dropped out 🤦 x

Cruz86 · 06/10/2022 11:32

@Skl2021 Aww baby Max, I love the name! It's on our list too. Can't believe how quickly he arrived, he was always going to cause trouble wasn't he 🤣 Glad you're home and enjoying your little baby bubble ❤️

Skl2021 · 06/10/2022 11:36

@Cruz86 my other 2 boys have short 3 letter names so needed something to match! Yes he was trouble from the start this one! 🤣🙈 X

Sassy144 · 07/10/2022 05:17

Yay I found you all! Congratulations@Skl2021 so lovely to have him safe and sound in your arms ❤️🌈

So excited to see everyone's updates over the next few weeks! I'm almost 27 weeks now so soon approaching the third trimester. Been suffering with terrible upper/middle back pain for weeks now, can't stand or sit on certain chairs for longer than 10 mins without being in agony, so dread to think what the last months have in store 🙈

barneymcgroo · 07/10/2022 07:13

@Sassy144 I'm so sorry, missed you off too...!

Sorry about the back pain - I found various yoga moves quite helpful (literally kneeling on hands and knees and arching my back up and down - cat cow poses). Have you a yoga ball? Found that helped to sit on too.

37+4 had enough now ladies thought he was coming last sat had contractions in the day went hospital they all stopped! Then woke at 2am to intense 2 hours worth of contractions and stopped even my app was telling me to get ready to go to hospital baby number 6 why do that to me 🤣🤣 xx
How is everyone else doing? X

Annny27 · 07/10/2022 15:50

@mrshodgy21 oh so have things halted now?

mrshodgy21 · 07/10/2022 16:28

@Annny27 yep had nothing since which is so disheartening as I really thought it was happening x

Hi everyone, I've been looking for a current MN thread on navigating a new pregnancy after loss. This looks like the most recent one but reading through all the comments it looks like this is quite an established group and you're all nearing the ends of your pregnancies (congratulations everyone!! 💕 I can see two names I recognise from previous miscarriage boards so that's lovely @arianasky @calimc83 🥰)

I thought I'd post anyway in case there was anyone else who is still early who's lurking on this thread? Or in case anyone has come across a recent thread for newbies on the journey??

I've had two miscarriages this year (one at 9 weeks and one at 6), and am now pregnant for the third time (I have no children so this would be my first). I'm just 5+4 so it really is early early, so I'm feeling incredibly anxious and would love to connect with others in same boat.

I've had a recent diagnosis of stage 4 complex endometriosis, fibroids and a polyp so I now know I have a higher chance of miscarriage than others, so I really shouldn't be feeling hopeful - and yet I find myself just feeling like surely this is the one that will stick 🙏 I'm on the pessaries and aspirin and I have been feeling absolutely awful given its so early!! So that too makes me feel hopeful, even though I felt v sick with the two I lost as well.

Anyway I realise this probably isn't the thread for me which is absolutely fine! Best of luck with births those of you that are near xxxx

IWillBeWaxingAnOwl · 07/10/2022 17:31

@Tor88 there are some of us who are earlier! Just less to say early on ☺️. I should be approx 8 weeks. Last time we lost the baby at end of T1, has taken 2 years to conceive again

There is also certainly a due April/may after miscarriage group, so I wonder if there is a due June/July one? If not, feel free to join us in may - there's lots more chat about early fears in that as hardly anyone is past 12 weeks x

IWillBeWaxingAnOwl · 07/10/2022 17:35

This is the may after MC group @Tor88 www.mumsnet.com/talk/pregnancy/4616195-due-aprilmay-after-mc?page=14&reply=120537152

Regarding hopefulness - I try to tell myself it's okay to feel either hopeful or pessimistic. Neither emotion will make me miscarry, neither will make it safe, I'll be sad if it ends either way, so it's okay to have those hopeful moments

barneymcgroo · 07/10/2022 17:57

Hi @Tor88, you'd be most welcome if you want to join in. Congratulations on your pregnancy, and I hope this one sticks.

@Tor88 I joined the tread a couple of weeks ago as I'm only 5+2 so very early days for me too!
