Hi all, somehow missed this thread! I’m also due in Feb. Somewhere in my 23rd week now and lots of kicking going on.

@LiveLaughL0ve Re fibre, I’ve been going nuts on it the moment I felt a tiny bit of constipated and so far it’s helped a lot with avoiding any unpleasant toilet experiences. So crossing my fingers i can keep that up. Flax seed, lots of nuts, lots of fruit, dried fruit, oats etc - luckily all things I love snacking on anyway.

has anyone had any luck getting a flu shot? Pharmacies around me don’t seem to offer any and I hate my GP practice :-/ Maybe I just need to get over that.

also, would love to join any Facebook group if there’s a link that can be shared? The one above doesn’t seem to work anymore. @Laurakiaora

lots of love to all of you!

Found slots for the flu jab on the boots website. Easy to book, would recommend

Laurakiaora · 26/10/2022 23:05

Hi @RadicalSoul , try this one - fb.me/g/p_DiqNCJcPumRLJr1u/AlucDRSY?ref=share :)

I had my flu vaccine at my GP surgery, the nurse there called me to book me in for it. I'm yet to have my covid booster, though.

Feeling a bit rough. Sleep isn’t great and have yet another cold coming on (throat feels horrible and scratchy). Had a very rare nap today and daughter was well behaved helping DH so that was a minor miracle!
shes definitely acting out a fair bit, wanting him to stay at bedtime etc. We are both heavily involved in her bedtime routine so that’s going to be super hard for her when the new baby arrives!

Peonies94 · 27/12/2022 19:09

@drpowk aww bless you! Ahh yes chest infection here too 🤦🏻‍♀️! Getting fed up now! Just 6 weeks left! It’s my first so think I’ll go over though!
aww bless her, definitely takes some adjusting for second child! I’m sure she’ll get use to it quickly though!

I had an EMCS first time round after failed induction at 37 weeks (reduced movement). As I never went into labour properly (as in I got contractions but didn't dilate at all), so this time they are planning a C-section at 40 weeks to give me a small chance to have a VBAC. It felt like a good compromise, but now I'm wondering how I'm going to manage another month (due 31st Jan!)

Peonies94 · 27/12/2022 20:35

@drpowk ahh I feel you! Due in 5 + 3 and wondering how I’ll manage, especially if I go a few weeks over!!

Hi! Very late to join, but I’m due on the 19th Feb with my 3rd - a girl. Big gap between the eldest and youngest - 11 years it’ll be.
would love to join the Facebook group if that’s ok?

Laurakiaora · 28/12/2022 17:44

@99percentchocolate

Hi! Here's the link to the FB group - fb.me/g/p_JCZMgza2LuboFPj7/fPqRupLU?ref=share

I also have a big gap between mine, my daughter is 10 and new baby (also a girl) is due on 2nd Feb).

99percentchocolate · 28/12/2022 19:05

Thanks, I’ve just requested!

GarlicCrackers · 05/01/2023 08:12

Hi @GarlicCrackers everyone is over on the Facebook group if you want to join that

Peonies94 · 05/01/2023 17:38

@GarlicCrackers it is quiet, everyone’s quite active in the fb page. When are you due? How are you feeling? Are you all ready?

OP posts:
FlyOnTheWall89 · 05/01/2023 19:37

@GarlicCrackers I'm here! Don't really use Facebook! I'm due 21st Feb. Beginning to get everything ready although lots still to buy etc. I have my 34 week midwife app next week. All okay at the moment except for carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists caused by the extra fluids in my body. Also sometimes my bump is incredibly hard and tight - I don't get cramps though... not sure if it's Braxton Hicks, will see what the midwife says next week.

Peonies94 · 06/01/2023 21:09

@FlyOnTheWall89 I’m so excited for you! We spoke so much on the fertility forums and now our babies are due within a few weeks of each other!! Not long to go now!!
i have everything sorted now, everything bought and ready to go! Im on countdown! 4 weeks to go, or 5 if she gets too comfortable!!
