@arianasky I hate the heat 🤣 even when not pregnant! Glad your scan went well. I had to go back to get more measurements hopefully he will have moved position for you 🤞 I still haven't had whooping cough either need to get it booked 🤦 xx

@arianasky Oh I'm glad all well. Yes, I had to go back for DS 2 - there was just one measurement she couldn't get, despite all my best dancing/jiggling and offers to do handstands (I can't, but I'd have given it a go...). Was peak COVID, so I was keen to avoid another trip to hospital, but it wasn't to be...

Hi, I’m 15 weeks pregnant after 5 miscarriages. I’ve been a bag of nerves every time I’ve been for a scan (had 4 so far and have a 5th on Wednesday!) but today I heard the heartbeat at the midwife appointment, and it’s slowly starting to sink in that it looks like I might actually have a baby at the end of the year!

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow and my anxiety is through the roof. Any tips on how to manage anxiety? I am on progesterone and I read it can mask a miscarriage and that’s all I can think about

@Ramsayst I can only imagine the anxiety you are feeling, but to get to 15 weeks is amazing and hopefully gives you a bit of comfort. 🤞 for you, when are you due? You can’t be far from me as I’m 13+6 today.

@Elspethelf good luck for tomorrow 🤞 I had mine just under two weeks ago and the anxiety the day before and on the day was the worst, not got any advice really, I just tried not to think about it but it was really hard and ended up crying when she found the HB. I had a missed miscarriage last time so I was waiting to hear something wrong. What time is your scan? It helps when it’s earlier rather than in the afternoon so you don’t go crazy. 💗

@Elspethelf good luck for your scan tomorrow. Try not to worry about progesterone masking a miscarriage, it’s very unlikely it actually would on the doses prescribed. I had a complete miscarriage whilst on progesterone, it did take longer for the heavy bleeding to kick in but other than that it didn’t change anything. Although I had the same concern being on it this pregnancy before my scans too. Let us know how you get on 🙏🏼🤞🏼

Thanks again everyone for your well wishes. Scan went perfectly. Baby is measuring 2 days ahead, NT was normal, and we had a wiggly little bean. They took blood for NIPT, so hopefully that will come back normal in 2 weeks.

@Skl2021 gosh I know! Me with my shit cheapy sticks in Sri Lanka trying to see if there was progression and my husband not believing I was pregnant because they were "those rubbish ones from the internet" 😂

@Bridgey8 there was no denying your lines even on the cheapies! I do miss pissing on sticks tho 🤣🙈 so much excitement!! Xx
