So lovely to see so many people progressing through pregnancy after loss.

I finally felt some proper movement last night as did my husband. But cushioned with an anterior placenta but was so nice to feel.

Hope everyone is ok x

Srx1 · 07/07/2022 10:25

@flowergarden16 aww that's so nice! I started feeling movement in the past week 🥰. I'm 22 weeks today. Time really starts flying after first 12 weeks which were taking so long because of the constant anxiety. @Bridgey8 I love swimming too and definitely planning to go, I need to check out the local leisure centre. @sunnyd67 I am irrationally scared of having baths now, because I read once it can be harmful if too hot so now I'd be thinking omg what if this was too warm?! 😄

flowergarden16 · 07/07/2022 10:40

@Srx1 I agree! Just a few weeks to go! Haha

Tulip1112 · 07/07/2022 12:22

@arianasky thanks for the tag and setting up a new thread! 💛

Ladies on progesterone- I am due to finish tomorrow. Did you just hard stop - stop taking them? Did you have any effects or symptoms after stopping? 17 weeks Saturday and feels so weird to stop after 11 weeks of taking them twice a day 😳 TYIA! X x

Tulip1112 · 07/07/2022 12:23

@flowergarden16 lovely to read! How many weeks did you feel movements?

flowergarden16 · 07/07/2022 12:25

I'm 20 now and really just this week x

flowergarden16 · 07/07/2022 12:25

@Tulip1112 I was so scared about stopping progesterone but it made no impact on me at all x

Arwen7 · 07/07/2022 12:32

@Tulip1112 I started doing every other day at 16 weeks and I think stopped completely at 17w. No side effects or anything noticeable either.

Tulip1112 · 07/07/2022 14:54

@flowergarden16 and @Arwen7 thank you! It's so nerve wracking eek! Off to Majorca on Sunday too so it's iffy timing!

flowergarden16 · 07/07/2022 14:58

Anyone still feeling nauseous? I would have thought it would stop by now but still a bit queasy

Tulip1112 · 07/07/2022 14:59

@flowergarden16 yes!! I was better for a few weeks and now I've been sick the last 4 days again! 🤢🤢 I'm 16+5 so a little behind you x

arianasky · 07/07/2022 17:29

@flowergarden16 same I've had a few weeks of nothing and yesterday morning I vomited and this afternoon I've felt nauseous again 🙄

@Srx1 Re baths - I've also read various things about hot baths, as I'm an avid bather and consider a cool bath to be a waste of time. Most advice says to avoid. HOWEVER, I read one article that said that a hot bath doesn't change your internal body temperature nearly as much as previously reported (can't find the article now), and I've had hot baths for the last two babies and they've been totally fine.

flowergarden16 · 08/07/2022 13:06

@Srx1 I have been in many hot tubs. I'd try not to worry; just don't let yourself get too hot

I have my 20 week scan tomorrow. Sooooooo nervous 😭

Srx1 · 08/07/2022 14:21

@barneymcgroo thank you, that makes sense! ☺️ @flowergarden16 yes, I just get all these over the top scenarios in my head 😄 good luck with the scan tomorrow! ☺️

Sassy144 · 08/07/2022 14:22

I just got a call to say I have low PAPP-A, does anyone else here have that?

sunnyd67 · 08/07/2022 18:05

Sorry, TMI
went to the toilet around 2pm, had some tanned coloured discharge, nothing since then, baby moving as usually. Stomach feel a little on the heavy side, but it started right after going to the toilet and seeing the discharge so might be stress. Should I be worried? 😭😭 23 weeks

Arwen7 · 08/07/2022 21:47

@sunnyd67 have you had sex recently? That can cause some little bleeding that is normal. You could go to triage if you are worried. They will most likely do a speculum and look at your cervix to make sure all is fine.

sunnyd67 · 09/07/2022 08:20

@Arwen7 No, we haven't had sex since the day before our frozen transfer, so a very long time ago 😃 it cannot be caused by cervical irritation in that sense. I haven't had anything since. It's very strange.

Arwen7 · 09/07/2022 09:09

@sunnyd67 yes random! But if that was all I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. It helps when you feel baby moving too :) If it happens again just go to triage I would say. They won't mind. Worst that can happen is that they ask you to stay overnight to be sure but you could always say no. Anyway let's hope it was just a one off! X

flowergarden16 · 09/07/2022 14:16

Hi @sunnyd67 hope all ok now?

Scan was all fine 🙏🏻🙏🏻

sunnyd67 · 09/07/2022 14:24

@flowergarden16 I am glad your scan went well ❤️ Yes, everything is okay, so bizarre, I have normal discharge and no sign of discolouration like yesterday, baby's wriggling around. I do wonder if it has anything to do with constipation and if it puts any pressure on the cervix if I haven't been for a few days @Arwen7

Arwen7 · 09/07/2022 14:48

@flowergarden16 yay ❤️

@sunnyd67 maybe! But as long as baby is moving and you haven't had anymore you can relax... you will prob never know what caused it! 🤷🏻‍♀️

barneymcgroo · 09/07/2022 18:29

@flowergarden16 Yay!

arianasky · 09/07/2022 19:49
