Re vaccines - I would get mine. Not sure I can, as I had covid in July. And I don't think I'll be eligible for my normal 'flu vaccine, as they're only starting them in October, and I'm not sure I'll be pregnant long enough... I haven't had any terrible side effects with any of my covid vaccines - felt quite dodgy after the third one, but given how bad actual covid made me feel this summer, I was grateful for the protection they gave me.

@Srx1 thanks for the link. That's really helpful, I've not spoken to my midwife yet. Seeing her next week so will interrogate her then 😆 xx

@Srx1 I asked my midwife on thursday and she said to get it (and the flu...but I will give myself a little break between the two haha!)

I have mine booked for this weekend 🙈

In other news, officially 36 weeks so have started trying to get some colostrum and like the tiniest drop came out haha! Nothing to collect 🤣

@barneymcgroo I'm guessing the flu vaccine availability is different depending on where you are? Because I had mine on Tuesday..

@Annny27 yes I would also have a break in between the 2 😆 otherwise seems too intense haha! let us know how you felt after your booster!

I'm sure everyone will say yes get the booster, I don't know what am I expecting to hear, I just thought my midwife would say yep get it. She didn't say no, which just made me question everything- if that makes sense! Just because of that first side effect i had...yep I am an overthinker 😬

@Srx1 I'm in Scotland - this midwife wasn't quite as with it as my usual one, I don't think. But she did get me a very quick appointment with the scanning dept, even if they did roll their eyes quite a bit about me being sent in...

Quick update. Baby arrived this morning around 7am. Currently in special care. He is 6lb no name yet. Will update better when I get time 💙 x

Well if you know my births by now it was another traumatic one 🤦 baby needs some help and scans so we here until at least Monday. I'm stil in shock with everything and hardly had any sleep just glad he's finally here 💙 im just running on adrenaline now. And we have a hospital investigation on top. I don't pick easy births definitely no more! X

@Skl2021 so sorry it's been another traumatic birth. You poor thing, so glad he's here. I hope they've given u a private room at least so you have a bit of privacy/try sleep if u can xx

@barneymcgroo 35+3 as of today! Can't quite believe it. Doing ok, however I have developed new upper back pain which is horrendous, I can't stand for longer than a minute once it starts hurting, otherwise I would feel fine as nothing else was hurting for the last three days 😂 How are you?

@barneymcgroo I am 36+2 and the lower backache in the evenings is hard. Got such a big bump putting pressure on myweak back haha. How are you doing? You are probably next in the birth announcement crew!!

@sunnyd67 snap with the back pain but mines lower back. Just cant wait to lie flat on my back when baby is born ♥️

Ugh @barneymcgroo @Skl2021 back pain is the worst! I'm 33 and waiting to find out my c section date. Hips are so sore! And feel sick again. What a joy the last few weeks are ladies 🤣
