Thank you @HaresHoping

It's our last day of the holiday.
So glad that I was allowed to come away.

It's been hot and I'm getting bored of sprite but the hotel have made me some special pregnant lady drinks.

26 weeks tomorrow and still have everything to buy.

Starting to stress a bit now as I just want it done so I can be ready.

Not managed to read through all of the posts as I've had a few days off my phone.
Hope everyone is well xx

Thanks @HaresHoping. shamelessly bookmarking so I don’t lose this 😂

I had to share this - last night I had a beautiful night of sleep. I walked over 5 miles yesterday and I think i just passed out! Not sustainable for a daily good night of sleep though!

My little one is getting stronger as she moves all over my tummy, I feel movement on both sides now depending on where she is hanging out. She is getting higher up too!

My 4 year old made her first negative comment about her sister today. It broke my heart. I'm going my best to make her feel loved and important but her comment really broke me.

Sweetbabydust1989 · 04/06/2022 17:18

Hello all can I ask has anyone suffered with cholestasis before I just had to have some blood tests today due to serve itching mostly at night time it's been unbearable to the point I am clawing at my feet. I am so worried they told me to call back tonight at 7 xx

madeleine85 · 04/06/2022 18:58

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher glad you’ve got a good mover. Mine is stuck under the right side of my rib cage... can’t wait till he drops! Sorry about the negative sibling comments. It’s such a hard adjustment. I need to hurry up and get to the section of my toddler course about siblings 😂. Right now ours just thinks her brother keeps getting her things she wants, which can only last so long!

Joining the new thread Smile

Peauela · 05/06/2022 14:02

Hey all! Joining new thread!

We arrived in Italy yesterday, my feet after the flight nearly exploded, I didn't think they could swell this much! 😂 much better today and baby girl is bouncing around in the belly so must be happy 😂 ahhhh

annlee3817 · 05/06/2022 16:04

Hi all, I'm so tired, been a busy week celebrating DD's birthday, could do with some more time off.

@Sweetbabydust1989 sorry to hear you are suffering, did you get the results?

Glad you're having a good holiday @MummyToBe2022

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher ah no, what did she say?

Sweetbabydust1989 · 05/06/2022 16:42

@annlee3817 have to have another blood test next week to get more answers but my little lady is thumping away in there which is reassuring.. was quite funny when the midwife was trying find her heartbeat she went batshit crazy and was booting the Doppler off it was so strong even the midwife felt it 😂 she hates anything relating to those probes 😂 how are you lovely?? Xx

legaltigger · 05/06/2022 16:49

Hey all. I'm so tired. We spent a week away with our nephews. It was lovely but full on and the bed in the caravan was less than ideal! Hips killing me. I found it so hard to keep my cool sometimes - pregnancy irritability really got to me, especially when one of them was making the most annoying repetitive noises at 7am 🤣

Came back from holiday, then got changed, and went to a wedding. Didn't get home til 1am 🙈 work tomorrow!

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 05/06/2022 17:03

@annlee3817 she said baby sisters are stupid. Hardly the meanest thing ever but it was a shock as up until now she has only ever been positive about the baby.

I'm not feeling well at all, I barely slept last night and the dip in temperature thanks to the bank holiday rain means I can't get warm. I feel so lethargic and grumpy.

annlee3817 · 05/06/2022 18:53

@Sweetbabydust1989 🤣 they really hate the Doppler don't they, midwife had to pin her into place to stop her wriggling away to get the heartbeat a couple of weeks ago, she said "oooh, she's a feisty one"

Ah is the second blood test to see if your levels have changed? Is it just the feet that itch? Must be horrible.

@legaltigger that sounds busy!! Hope you're having a chilled day today

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher ahhh how old is she again? I guess they're bound to have their little moments, I'm expecting a bit or realisation to hit DD once the baby arrives, in the sense that she'll realise she can't just pick the baby up when she wants to and we'll they're pretty boring up until they are moving 😬

annlee3817 · 05/06/2022 18:53

Well

Sweetbabydust1989 · 05/06/2022 19:09

@annlee3817 oh mine is definitely feisty she always goes mental with all appointments she does not like being touched 😂 yeah they just want to see if there is a raise they said it usually happens in the third trimester but can happen earlier.. it's my feet mostly I just want to claw the f out of them to the point they will bleed I am so tired today so happy I have nearly finished my shopping car seat and hospital stuff left to get xx

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 05/06/2022 20:03

@annlee3817 she is 4. She is starting school in September, a mont of big change in our house. I know she has her own little worries about it all.

I'm wondering if baby 2 will come at the same gestation as DD, if she does, I've got 10 weeks to go 🫣

GlitteryGreen · 06/06/2022 10:34

Jumping on :)

Lovely to hear so much movement for people! I still am not having that much, I guess due to anterior placenta :( I was feeling bits and pieces on the left-hand side a couple of weeks ago (MW said baby was lying sideways) but think it must have turned again now as I only really feel anything right at the bottom again.

It's so stressful worrying about whether I'm feeling 'enough' movement when I barely feel anything to start with!! Is anyone else in this position? [confusion]

Sweetbabydust1989 · 06/06/2022 10:54

@GlitteryGreen I have an anterior placement this is the second one in three pregnancies.. I find I feel more movement when I am laying down and really relaxed or if she is on a sugar rush the midwife said that as I am quite petite I probably won't have much issues feeling her I find I get more movement on the left due to the placenta being on the right side. If I worry about her movements i either rub my belly or drink something with sugar in it xx

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 06/06/2022 11:13

@GlitteryGreen I had an anterior placenta with DD, as she got bigger I felt more movement. I guess that was as DD grew bigger than the placenta. The movements I felt were always at the side at the bottom. When she got bigger I could feel her moving her head in my ribs, she was a breech baby.

I'm supposed to have a anterior placenta this time but was told at the 20 week scan that it was more at the bottom and completely covering the cervix. I think it is more at the bottom as I'm getting lots of movement on the front which is totally different to my last pregnancy.

I'm exhausted, I am really struggling with sleep. I get the odd night of good sleep, I think that is when I'm just so exhausted from lack of sleep that I just crash out. I have the pregnancy pillow and it just lies on the bed looking smug instead of helping me. I know I slept better after having tiny new born DD last time. I hope it will be the same this time!

GlitteryGreen · 06/06/2022 11:16

Thanks @Sweetbabydust1989 , glad to know I'm not alone!!

I do definitely find that I feel more when I'm sitting/laying down, I rarely ever feel anything at all when I'm moving about.

Unfortunately for me, none of the usual tricks work to make it move.....baby must be a stubborn one, it moves when it wants, regardless of what I do 😂 which doesn't help the anxiety.

I usually get a bit of movement first thing if I've got up for a wee and then gone back to bed, but even that is not guaranteed...didn't happen today for instance.

It's just so annoying never knowing when I should worry or not! I am just hoping movements become more regular after 28 weeks as I've read that's the time when you should start identifying a pattern as before that it can be erratic.

I'm quite sad I can't feel much :( A couple of weeks ago I was enjoying seeing my belly move a little bit when the baby was moving, whereas now it's changed positions I'm back to what I've been feeling since about 17/18 weeks...just small flutterings right down by my knicker line.

GlitteryGreen · 06/06/2022 11:17

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher Sorry, cross-posted with you...thanks for sharing. They confirmed my anterior placenta at the 20 week scan but luckily it's not low for me.

Sorry you're having a shit time sleeping :( That's so hard.
