@Cruz86 thank you!!

I had a moment of complete upset on Sunday. I know a lot of you ladies feel like me and don't want people to know/talk about it until we know if it's going to be okay. Unfortunately my sister decided to ask me 'so are you pregnant' in a very busy pub on Sunday. Apparently I have been looking quite ill. I didn't know what to say (I cannot lie for the life of me) so I just said I'm disappointed she asked me outright when she knows what I've been through. It flummoxes me why people can't just think about someone else's feelings 😞 it made me so sad as I felt like she had taken my potential pregnancy reveal away from me. Hopefully doesn't sound too silly but it's the pressure sometimes x x

Skl2021 · 10/05/2022 09:05

@Cruz86 so glad u made one I was wondering how people were commenting on the old one as it wouldn't let me 🤦 hope your ok ❤️ xx

@Tulip1112 so sorry your sister said that to u it was very insensitive especially after what u have been through. Don't let it get you down I'm sure your reveal will be brilliant ❤️ x

Tulip1112 · 10/05/2022 09:13

@Skl2021 well it was only going to be a reveal for her so I guess she's only ruined it for herself lol. Hubby and I have decided if we get to the point where we can tell people, we won't put it on Facebook 🤷‍♀️ have another private scan in a week at 9 weeks so just hoping and praying that one goes well!! 🤞🏻🙏🌈
How are you feeling? x x

Skl2021 · 10/05/2022 09:16

@Tulip1112 well yes she has spoiled it for herself then 🤣🙈 we are not announcing until after 20 weeks. Only immediate family know up to now. Yes I'm doing ok thankyou my 20 week scan is next week seems to be going so quickly lately xx

flowergarden16 · 10/05/2022 09:39

Thank you @Cruz86 !

flowergarden16 · 10/05/2022 09:40

Ugh @Tulip1112 that's not great I'm sorry :-(

It's so hard isn't it. X

Bridgey8 · 10/05/2022 09:46

Oh @Tulip1112 sorry she was so insensitive.

In the past week I have had two people stare at me for ages and then say "congratulations" - like what if I'd just put on a bit of weight??

Skl2021 · 10/05/2022 09:50

@Bridgey8 omg some people 🙈 they could of at least asked first. I would be mortified if someone said congratulations to me and I wasn't pregnant 😬 guess u have a bump going on? I just look fat 🤦 I can still hide it and fit in my usual clothes x

Bridgey8 · 10/05/2022 09:55

It's pretty obvious to be fair 😂

flowergarden16 · 10/05/2022 10:02

You look fab @Bridgey8 !

I just look fat. My colleagues I sure think I've piled on so much weight (TBF I can't stop eating) but today is my last day in the office before 12 week scan so praying it all goes ok and I can tell people and finally breath out soon Confused

Annny27 · 10/05/2022 10:22

Thank you @Cruz86 !!

@Skl2021 I am the same I could see people commenting but for me it was saying not accepting new messages haha

Had out 15.5 week scan yesterday and sll looked okay structurally which is good :) little baby wouldn't show us in between the legs haha. So hopefully next time 🤣

@Bridgey8 oh looking lovely!!

@Tulip1112 omg its my biggest bug bear when people ask me that! Especially as we had been trying for more than 2 years. I used to say "no news to share" and I did the same when someone asked if I was pregnant when I was and I wasn't ready to share. So insensitive

Skl2021 · 10/05/2022 10:28

@Bridgey8 you have a definite bump so jealous 😍 my tummy is just flabby at the bottom 🤣 but It was already flabby from my other children 🤦 xx
@Annny27 glad your scan went well! Aww what a little monkey! Mine was the same legs firmly shut! 🙊 Hopefully on your next scan they will be open! 🤞 Xx

flowergarden16 · 10/05/2022 11:30

Mine is the same @Skl2021 🤣

Skl2021 · 10/05/2022 11:34

@flowergarden16 I just look like I'm piling on the pounds 🤣 no neat little bump here 🙈 xx

aesgriff · 10/05/2022 12:16

@Cruz86 yay thank you for the new thread! I was the same @Skl2021 I couldn’t post either xx

@Bridgey8 looking amazing 🥰 I am deffo showing but I am overweight so 90% of bump is probably yesterdays dinner 🤣 xx

@Tulip1112 I’m so sorry that’s so rubbish ☹️ I had a similar experience my sister saw my name on a previous thread when I posted my pregnancy test so knew before I told her. It did make me feel really sad and like it was tainted (also afraid to post!) but I had to remind myself that although she found out herself there were others who I had the joy of telling xx

flowergarden16 · 10/05/2022 14:10

Ladies who have had their 12 week scan... can I ask some advice?

How quickly do you hear the heartbeat? I'm feel really anxious again and I know I'll see a baby as bad a scan last week and no bleeding etc but worried that I'd heart has stopped beating it might take a while to find out on the day? I guess just looking for someone to remind me how it goes as my last successful 12 week scan was three years ago! Thank you x

speake1 · 10/05/2022 15:08

Thank you for creating a new thread @Cruz86 💕

@Tulip1112 I totally agree with everyone about this being insensitive, I think sometimes people are so hopeful for you to be pregnant that they forget to check themselves before asking these questions. But as you say she’s only ruined it for herself 🙈

@Bridgey8 you look great! I’ve definitely got a noticeable bump now too, wondering how much bigger it’s going to get 😂

@flowergarden16 we didn’t get to hear the heartbeat at our 12 week scan but knowing our history the sonographer quickly showed us the screen & confirmed everything to be ok. Maybe worth filling them in if they haven’t read your notes so you aren’t left waiting xxx

flowergarden16 · 10/05/2022 15:12

Thanks @speake1 I think I'll explain that I'm nervous. My hospital is a research facility and last time (with my MMC) it was a male research doctor who did the scan and it was bad.

I'll tell them when we go in. So nervous now x

Annny27 · 10/05/2022 15:30

@flowergarden16 it was literally within 30 seconds of scanning they said there's the heartbeat and then we heard it. I didn't even mention our history they just automatically did it first thing :)

Sassy144 · 10/05/2022 15:32

Hey ladies just checking in on the new thread, I've not been on much as I'm trying to take my mind off everything - almost at the point I MC'd before so really want to get past that.

I went for the spa day with my sister and had all my excuses planned for not going in sauna etc, and the receptionist gave the game away to her 🙈 I called to swap my massage and didn't think to ask them not to say anything on the day.

@Bridgey8 you look wonderful 💛

flowergarden16 · 10/05/2022 15:35

Thanks @Arwen7 I guess they will tell me either way. I mean, if it's stopped beating they are going to tell me. Ugh tomorrow is going to be a long day!

flowergarden16 · 10/05/2022 15:35

Oh god @Sassy144 !!

Arwen7 · 10/05/2022 15:54

@flowergarden16 I had my 12w scan yesterday and told them before starting about my mcs and that I was really anxious. It took her seconds to find it - did mot hear it but could see the flickering and they calculated the rate. Best of luck tomorrow 💕

Attaching my pics from yesterday… any guesses? Although I am not sure you can even see the nub?
