@Arwen7 Thank you for the reassurance! I told her to stop, she seemed quite determined, but I'd just been to the loo... She reckoned anterior placenta, which might explain it.

Totally lucked out having a midwife on the thread - not sure I can do anything to return the favour!

So happy to say like also went well. Baby all good 12+2 and low risk for everything. I cried before he even started the scan

Thank you @Annny27 and @Arwen7 - I would have asked if she could have a listen even if she wasn’t going to but it makes sense that they generally do! When I had my first appt I mentioned that I was worried as my nausea stopped and she said I could come back the following week to try and listen as I was just getting to 12 weeks. I went as I hoped she could hear it and that would calm me while waiting for my scan and thankfully we heard it then! Phew! So I was a bit calmer going to the scan although I got nervous by the time we went in!
Turns out I have anterior placenta so really hoping I will be able to hear the heartbeat on future midwife appointments, next one is in 3 weeks..

@flowergarden16 and @Artisticpiglet3 - yes I understand re harmony, I will be 36 soon and generally quite anxious so I’m thinking about doing it..

Having brown discharge today 😢 I knew I had a small area of bleed below the baby, but now I think its coming out and worried. Called EPU, they don't seem to be worried at all. I'm 15 weeks today.

@sunnyd67 my friend had this recently at 16 weeks was all fine just keep an eye and if it gets heavier or pain go in xx

@sunnyd67 as a bleeder myself I would say it sounds fine... brown = old so probably the older blood working it's way out xx

I had brown discharge from internal scan at 7 weeks for a week. So not the first time. I am really hoping is just the old blood coming through, as the area of bleed has been there since about 10weeks...

Hi ladies I hope u are all ok? I'll keep this short. Have had another MMC. Had the procedure yesterday. I'm ok, we are devastated but I feel like I'm sadly coming to terms with it a bit quicker as this is the 2nd time now. Life is shit and unfair but I'm incredibly lucky with the 2 children I already have. Thanks for all your support over the last few months. Xxx

Aww @calimc83 I am heartbroken for you, life is so unfair. Had really hoped that this would be the ‘lucky chat’ for everyone 😣 Thinking of you & your partner, it’s truly awful, especially to go through repeatedly. I understand you’ll want to come off the chat as it’ll be triggering but if you ever need people to talk to I’m sure all of our private messages are always open & happy to chat.
