Does anyone else get the rage and want to cry or is it just me? Slightest thing sets me off. I'm having a self care day in bed with munchies and tea 😭

My cramps have really ramped up today and are making me sooo uncomfortable. It's making me really uncomfortable as I just feel like I'm going to start bleeding any second. 😣 how bad are everyone else's cramps?

Hi everyone, just checking in on this thread. I’m 5+2 today and had some spotting over the weekend. I went to the EPU and they told me not to worry as was a tiny bit of brown spotting. I’ve got my scan on Monday. I’ve had two sets of 48hr HCG tests and it is more than doubling so that is a comfort in the meantime. I’ve been feeling really tired and moody, and nauseous from time to time but not sure how much of the tiredness is related to having had covid recently or the pregnancy.

@scoutcat sorry to hear about your cramps. I think we are due around the same time (I’m due 27th). I’ve not been having cramps but have had some brown spotting which the hospital told me not to be concerned about. Maybe call the EPU for some advice to reassure you? I know what it’s like being on constant knicker watch

@LS1983 yes I was in such a mood for a few minutes yesterday out of nowhere!

@sarahj878 I've had nap and feel more calm! My poor son caught the brunt of it this morning so I have an apology to make!

Hi all

I am around 6 weeks, have a very unpredictable cycle. Do not know exact due date maybe between 18th -23rd.

Have 2 dc aged 8 and 5. They don’t know yet

Really nervous and excited as have waited almost 2.5 years for this.

I have midwife (booking?) appt tomorrow. I have forgotten everything that happens in these appointments now
I hate needles, i really hope they don’t take bloods at this one. I am already feeling nauseous and tired. Terrible mood swings.

Haven’t told work either yet but luckily they do not need me, only ask me to cover and I am supposed to be completing training at home.

Thank you @sarahj878. I'm so glad your spotting is nothing to worry about. My cramps have eased off now and I have a scan at EPU arranged next week anyway due to my ectopic pregnancy last week so I will wait til then anyway. X

Had a couple of days of lights brown spotting so moved my private scan forward from Sunday to today. Fortunately, everything is ok and was able to see the heartbeat ❤️ Baby is measuring 6w2d.

Congratulations @Motherofpugs - what a lovely scan! I bet you feel so relieved!

Congratulations @Motherofpugs on your scan. I’ve had some spotting too. I spotted throughout the first trimester when I had my son so am trying not to be concerned by it.

@scoutcat glad your cramps have eased. Sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancy x

Hello! Please may I join? I am 6+5 after 3 miscarriages. Had an early scan abdominal yesterday and saw a heartbeat :)
I am due 17th November.
I haven't booked in with the midwife yet, feel too scared for some reason!

Thank you @scoutcat and @sarahj878 - it does seem like spotting is so common. I actually had heavy bleeding in my sons pregnancy due to a SCH so you’d think I’d be a bit more zen about a little bit of brown spotting.

@HitsAndMrs congratulations! We are due date twins this is my rainbow baby too. I forced myself to book in at 4 weeks because part of me didn’t want to acknowledge the pregnancy because of the anxiety but I’m trying to be positive this time. I’d say go ahead and book in! Especially now you’ve seen a heartbeat on a scan.

Hi guys bit of a weird one. I've had a cold for the past week (definitely not covid I have done soooo many tests to make sure) and I'm near the end stages now just a bit snotty still. Anyway, yesterday my partner was cooking kebab meat for us and I had to leave the kitchen because the smell was really strange to me and I couldn't eat it.
Then this afternoon I went to have a j2o and found that it smelt and tasted strange.
And then to top it off I ordered a Chinese tonight and couldn't eat half of it because some of the bits had the same smell to me as the kebab meat did last night.
I cannot for the life of me describe this smell/taste - it's almost like catch in the back of your throat when you inhale something chemical?
Anyway this is my first pregnancy and I'm 6 weeks today so is this a baby related thing or should I be more concerned about this cold 😅
