Hi! Thought I'd start a new thread as we filled up the previous one. Going to try and tag everyone who's been active recently - apologies if I miss anyone out! Feel free to join in.

I'm expecting my firstborn, having had 2 miscarriages. Currently 17 weeks and 2 days!

Hi everyone!

OnceUponAThread · 08/02/2022 21:28

Hey! Thanks for setting this up.

When's everyone's next scans due? #ScanWatch

Loulou237 · 09/02/2022 06:17

@susiebluebell thanks for setting this up!

I’m 22 weeks +2 today, no more scans on the horizon for me @OnceUponAThread I don’t know how I will cope! How about you? Xx

susiebluebell · 09/02/2022 07:02

20 week scan in three weeks for me! And I've just woken up after a horrible dream that it's all gone wrong. Thanks brain...

Thanks for starting the new thread @susiebluebell

I’ll be 24 weeks on Monday which feels like a big milestone, no more scans although I may book a private one. I’ve also got covid atm (had all my jabs), fairly mild and he’s still kicking away so not as scary as people can make covid in pregnancy out to be. Hopefully that helps if anybody nervous about catching it!

Hope everybody’s well!

Oti22 · 09/02/2022 09:56

@Tandabear I had no real symptoms at 6 + 3 and some people don’t get any all the way through so try not to worry. I did get hyperemesis shortly after though and looking back I wish I’d enjoyed my symptom free weeks but that’s much easier said than done! x

I was the same and also think I’ve read most of the internet 😂 I had very sore boobs in my previous pregnancy (from before I had a positive and up until after I had miscarried) so had a panic when they weren’t sore! They still aren’t!

It was bad until about 18 - 20 weeks but the last few weeks have been much better! As long as I eat regularly and sleep my nauseas completely manageable. Happy to see the back of all the vomit 😅

I felt much better about the pregnancy as time has gone on and I’ve had each scan so hope time goes quickly for you! x

Hopingforarainbow27 · 09/02/2022 14:11

My 8 week scan is in the morning. When did peoples boob tenderness stop? I feel like mine aren't as sore now (trying not to read into it)

OnceUponAThread · 09/02/2022 14:20

@Loulou237 - You're doing so well! Over the half point now. I'd struggle with no more scans too. Maybe I will save up and have one at 28 weeks or something like that. I can't imagine going all the way from 20-40 without seeing her.

Are you feeling movements yet? I guess that might mean you don't feel the need for scans in the same way?

I'm desperate to start feeling movements but I guess I'm a few weeks off still.

@susiebluebell my 20 week is in two weeks now. Starting to feel really nervous about it. 😬. Also worrying it's all gone wrong. Fingers crossed we both get good news.

@Tandabear I've had no symptoms throughout and at 16 week scan all was absolutely fine. I think symptomless pregnancies are fairly common. But it is really unsettling an I kept getting anxious.

@Oti22 definitely a huge milestone! Sorry to hear you have Covid but glad it's mild. Make sure you get lots of rest and take it easy.

@Hopingforarainbow27 good luck for tomorrow! Let us know how you get on. I think my sore boobs came and went. (Although I kept prodding them to check which made them sorer 😂).

susiebluebell · 09/02/2022 17:17

@Hopingforarainbow27 My boobs were really sore almost constantly until 12 weeks. Nothing since then!

Thank you @OnceUponAThread I hope we both get good news too! Nice to have someone so close in dates x

Hi ladies can I join?

I've got 2 children already (DD born 2019, DS born 2021) in between these two I had a CP, a blighted ovum and a MMC.

Found out I was pregnant again beginning of Jan, big surprise pregnancy! Currently 9 weeks, had scans at EPU at 6 weeks and 8 weeks and saw heartbeat at both and baby even measured 3 days ahead!

Got my last EPU scan next Thursday when I'll be 10 weeks- hoping that baby is still growing well and even measuring ahead again!

Hope everyone is doing well :)

@OnceUponAThread yes I’ve been feeling very light kicks but I have an anterior placenta like I did with my daughters pregnancy, this means I’m less likely to feel movement. I know what you mean about it being reassuring but I also find it opens up a new world of anxiety once you get to the kicks count stage! I remember I spent the last bit of my pregnancy terrified and drinking ice cold water every five minutes Grin

@susiebluebell I hope you’re feeling better about everything today. Horrible dreams are so real and so cruel aren’t they!!

@Hopingforarainbow27 good luck this morning let us all know how it goes!

Hi @EllieJai44 welcome to the group 😊 sounds like your pregnancy is progressing perfectly! Xx

EllieJai44 · 10/02/2022 08:52

@Loulou237 so far lol but my MMC we saw heartbeat and growth at 6 and 8 week scan and then at 12 week scan found a perfectly formed baby that had died at 9 weeks and 3 days! After that the anxiety never leaves you!!
Currently I'm taking it 2 weeks at a time, just getting to each scan

Loulou237 · 10/02/2022 09:03

@EllieJai44 ah I’m so sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed this is different xx

CLC22 · 10/02/2022 09:55

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks in October/ November, found out I was pregnant end of December and now 10 weeks pregnant, really anxious. Got my scan on Monday 🤞🙏🏻

@Loulou237 oh yes definitely. I will for SURE be worrying along with you when I get to that stage. Grin.

So gorgeous to be able to feel little kicks though. 😍

Loulou237 · 10/02/2022 10:32

@OnceUponAThread yes it’s the weirdest but best feeling ever! Xx
