Abd I rearranged lasagne scan after the nhs one this week so it's in couple weeks time now

@DKDK123 we only told our parents that labour started cos they are in another country and they cannot set camp in the hospital, they absolutely would

@Franklydear the lasagne scan is a 4D one, where there's an article about someone posting a pic on their social media & someone commenting that lasagne looks lovely

@bez91 annoying on the work front!! But once you leave it isn't your problem, try and put it to the back of your mind lovely! We all know now that the doctors are rubbish with blood taking, let's hope they get it right on the third try!!

@paintfairy glad the food was good but rubbish on the wind!! It's so so uncomfortable isn't it!! So glad the scan went well and she is indeed a girl!! I'm also getting scared for my 20 week scan, it's like the big important one!!

@DKDK123 oh those nightmares sound awful!! But they're just nightmares! You are doing great, keep going!!

@kaylsd so glad you got to hear the heartbeat!! And don't worry about flutters, mine are so inconsistent and then I worry when I haven't felt them for a few days, but some people don't feel them for a while after others do!!x

@Minster2012 oh your day sounds a dream, I'm very jealous!! Let us know what it's like and enjoy yourself x

@Juno231 oh so glad everything went well and she's definitely a girl! Not so good on her being uncooperative, mine was the same at my 12 week scan, they definitely like being stubborn!! Before my 16 week private scan I had a small coffee (i dont really drink it and if I do I have decaf) so had a normal one and baby was wriggling around everywhere, but not going to do that for my 20 week one because I know it'll make it so much more difficult for them to see everything! Glad your placenta has moved now too!! They didn't tell me at my 12 week one what it was but at my private one they said it was posterior

@Minster2012 yayyy to new lasagne scan date!!

Well ladies I got a right bargain on marketplace!! OH's cousin is giving us a cot that's still in the box never been used, it's lovely but a mothercare one and obviously mothercare is shut now and I wanted matching so went onto marketplace and found the wardrobe and changing table for £200 but noticed the changing table didn't have the unit topper on, turns out my cousin has the same furniture set and isn't using the unit topper because her baby is moving now, so is giving us the topper, so the seller of the furniture said we can have both the wardrobe and unit for £110!! So we pick it up next Saturday, only thing is it's built so we need to make some room for it somewhere at my mums, as well as all our other boxed up stuff and furniture😂😂

@kaylsd @Juno231 I hate to tell you, but unless its definitely gas (followed up by proof) then that's it. 🤣 It really isn't a life changing moment.
@Vil10 I'm not sure what's worse- a wriggly baby or one that's still and just refusing to move. 🤣 It might be the latter.......
Great on the furniture. I've seen some bargain stuff too but I've just nowhere to put it yet. There's some great deals to be had 2nd hand.

@Vil10 I went to buy some pink wool and I went overboard, just saying😜 loving the furniture problem, annoying for you, sure, but very sweet, all falling in place now

@Vil10 that's great news on the nursery set! We got a bargain with ours for X & now negotiations are in place with X to lend them to baby sister, I love that they had been through 3 children before they came to us too. The spa was AMAZING

Before I read that thread I forgot to tell you my peach of a story from this morning & the comment from @feliznavidad2 about the wet pants. So DS gets into bed with us this morning after he woke us & went back into his room playing. He gets into our bed & said "mummy daddy there's a wet patch in your bed...someone has weed in your bed!" Oh god oh really. Then he went "it's a really big wet patch" as we were giggling 🤭

@bez91 so glad you managed to sort some things out with the management director! You’ve done the right thing in protecting your time out by blocking it, it’s their issue now hunny! I’ve got the next 4 days off which is quite nice to have a stretch off at home even if it means doing very little! Saying that yesterday had a spring clean of my wardrobe and donated 3 bin liners full to the charity shops 🙈 I do laugh at the old wives tale of if your urine is more yellow than usual? Hahaha just need to drink more not gender prediction 🤣 one of my friends went through induction on her own in covid times and was only aloud her OH to come in when she was in established labour.. just hope those days are behind us!

I need fuel in my car but I’ve got face on with the stations round here going from 144 to 172 over night and panic buying fuel again 😬😬😬😬 may invest in good walking boots and set off 4 hours earlier as to where I need to be to avoid these hikes and let my car be decorative purposes 🤣🤣🤣🤣 have an amazing Sunday ladies!

@Franklydear I did read that one a while back but I've just been on for the update! 🤣 I do wonder actually what people do when they have kids? Like- clearly you don't want them finding it. I remember being about 14 and my friend at school finding her mums sex toy collection. Just not what you want......

But no dtd around here. Its getting less and less. I have no sex drive i must admit. I had a bit the other week but it's gone again. I will however 'cooperate' but DH seems to have gone off the idea. When usually he wants it. I think he feels we shouldn't be doing it because of the baby? Whilst I'm not that bothered, I kind of feel unwanted now? 🙈 Its all a bit of a strange thing. I'm one of those people who doesn't always need sex for sex but i like to feel the closeness sometimes? 🤷‍♀️

@kaylsd God I'm hoping it hasn't gone up that much here. I have less than 1/4 of a tank and I'm going to need some this week!

@paintfairy it's definitely fits and spurts on the sex here, depending on how tired we both are too & for example it's awkward as I'm going upto bed much earlier than him so that doesn't help although it is at least once a week, the other week my sex derive rocketed though! So you might find it come back

Yesss for 4 days off @kaylsd and for the spring clean that's great. What does more yellow urine mean then? Boy /girl or just need more water?! I mean you could def walk more in this weather but you might not want to walk too much more later on

DS & I an hour and a half into our 3 hour road trip to see my friend then Tuesday we have a play date with another friend & her beautiful girls including a squish!! Can't wait! 👀
One stop in and wondering if my bladder can last too we get there 😬

Read your post this morning @kaylsd then drove passed a petrol station on route to soft play £1.68 a litre 🤯 glad I don't have many work visits left as that's still 40p measly pence a mile for mileage - it's ridiculous. Actually never heard of the urine colour one 😂 mine is generally radioactive yellow due to the supplements

@paintfairy @Minster2012 me and DH DTD last night after much discussion 😆, it's getting less frequent as I'm just quite massive and there's about one feasible position.

Feeling really off it today and can't really put my finger on it, my tummy is so so tight and hard and kinda mild crampy as well as loads of pressure down there, rib ache, back ache and just really tired. DH is being a gem looking after us. Definitely didn't feel so shitty last time 🤦🏼‍♀️

That's the other thing though with dtd. If you aren't comfortable then you aren't going to want to do it. Right now (and I'm not even big) my hips and thighs have really been hurting for no reason at all.

I don't want to spoil the party but DTD hasn't improved much since the arrival of PTSD! I'm drier than the Sahara thanks to BF hormones and even with a pint of lube at a time it's not great 😬

Morning!! We made it after a 4 hour driving trip (not the most comfortable thing)

We haven't tried DTD on my side we've not found it too bad, hoping that continues a bit but @paintfairy I get pains in my groin ligaments when getting up from sitting from the ligaments loosening, I guess having a bloke in between there might start to hurt soon but currently don't notice it!

@feliznavidad2 hope you managed to get some rest after being solo this weekend!

@paintfairy yes a good spoon 😆 even that is uncomfortable so just from behind is better 🙈 @Minster2012 my bump is quite low down so me lying on my back is kinda like a natural cock block 😂 maybe we've made ourselves I'll from that then @Lexber as I do feel loads better today. 8am and I've done a basket of ironing and another one out on the line, that would not have been feasible yesterday!

Anyone got any exciting plans this week? I have my day off today and I have an overwhelming feeling to be organised so I'm going birthday card/present shopping up to June so don't have to think about it when baby here, this is not the normal me 🤷‍♀️

Work for me @bez91 4 weeks and counting..!! Heavy and sore all over!
From behind us all that works for us, with shit loads of pillows under me to stop my crashing onto babies 🤣 I've found I'm ridiculously sensitive and what feels like he's doubled in size was apparently only the tip 🤣🤣🤣
Also noticed (tmi) I've a very swollen lady area, I panicked at first either I had severe piles or a prolapse, but after googling and checking it's seem all the extra blood and the pressure of carrying 3 has just fluffed me up a bit!
I've also been thinking ahead for birthdays and events until July as I think I may have a mush brain once this pair arrive..!

30+ 5, cots arrive Tuesday and the nursery is nearly finished! We MIGHT even have names too 😳 if we don't change our minds, but we are keeping them between just us for now Altho we're looking to put their names above the cots so not sure how that will work 🤣

Not sure how much bigger it will get in another 7 weeks... 🤣🤣🤣 everyone is now adamant I won't make it to 37/38 weeks and I kind of want to prove them all wrong 🤣🤣

Got my scan this afternoon so of course cue the being up all night with nightmares again 🙈 Every time I fell back asleep I went back to dreaming I was carrying a little white shoebox sized coffin it was horrible, I couldn't shake it away even tho any time I woke up I could feel baby move. Hopefully the nightmares ease a bit after this scan .......well until the next scan is due 😂

@paintfairy @bez91 I remember back when you could get diesel for 99p 🙈 sadly I think it’s going to be a case of it will only just keep going up especially whilst everything’s going off in Ukraine!
@minster2012 the old wives tale goes as pale colour urine is girl and yellow bright urine is boy… or dehydration / prenatal supplements 🤣🙈 hope you enjoy your road trip!

So uncomfy today, can't get comfy at all - it's going to be a long day!

All is fine with baby, tho she's measuring BIG as in had jumped up to the 95th percentile, they brought up DSs chart at this stage and he was only on the 19th. So they don't know if he was extra small because I was so poorly by now with him whereas they've still got things undercontrol for her and DHs side of thr family are all tall so she could be a normal length for her. Or if she's measuring big because I've developed gestational diabetes tho I don't have any other signs of it than a big baby, so have to go for the GT test on Thursday to rule that out. Fingers crossed she's just going to be a tall baby, it does explain why I'm feeling her move so much more compared to DS.
