Had my 20 week scan today, all was perfect, am feeling so blessed and we found out we are having a little boy ❤👶
My heart stopped a little when she said I'm now going to check the brain and went very quiet and all I could make out on the screen was a blob but turns out she was just concentrating!
Anyone getting concerned about not feeling movements quite yet, as I was prior to scan, just to reassure you all is fine. Found out my placenta is at the back so hopefully will start getting some kicks soon.... judging by the amount of movement today I don't think its long off. We have a very nimble son, he kept putting his leg up to his chest.

Hi girls thanks for tagging me in new thread … Had my 20 week scan this morning and all was well sonographer didn’t mention any problems at all. All she said was have you got a GTT booked which I have for March. On my report it says AC measurement plots above the 97th centile which has scared the life out of me any one else has measurements like this or know what they mean.

@rathernotshare and @Flowerbug1994 congratulations on your successful scans.

I wasn't given a growth chart, there was noome about to do it whatever that meant so not sure where my baby boy sits. I'm nearly 6 foot and my husband 6ft 2 so I'm pretty sure he's gonna be long.

Glad to see so many good scans!
Mine was earlier! Got to see baby chomping their hand, holding their foot, and drinking some tasty amniotic fluid. They said all looks fine with baby. I got my measurements back and they look so odd.

@Flowerbug1994 I have no idea either 😂 my babies percentile:

32% head
67% stomach
33% femur
39% weight

Is my baby teeny with a mahoosive stomach? Is it all the junk food I’ve had? 😂😂

@Flowerbug1994 mine was also very high on the abdominal circumference although I'm not sure what percentile. I had also noticed at previous scans my baby has a big belly! The sonographer didnt mention it though, it was just on my notes 🤷‍♀️

@rathernotshare mines exactly the same he was jumping around and upside down so her measurements were hard to get. Am hoping it just means that he’s big as everything else seems fine xx

Just found a calculator online:
Head 33%
Abdominal 77%
Femur 58%
Weight 67%

Small headed baby will be easier to get out right? 😅

Congratulations to all you successful scan ladies... whether their heads be large or small, just know they will be beautiful. And will hurt your fanny like hell, no matter what! 😁

I've had the results of my quad test. Plopped onto the mat and I burst into tears because it's arrived within 3 days so I assumed the worst.

@rathernotshare My little boys head is 25% according to online calculators and he is 25th percentile overall, I'm believing he's just little but perfectly formed 💙

Sometimes I think we have too much growth information and too much to google... I'm sure I didn't get all this data on my last baby and I was much more chill 😅

When she said everything's perfect so we won't see you again until baby comes out'... I finally realised I'm having an actual baby 😅

Also, a huge thank you to the ladies that posted about it being okay to be upset when/if you choose to find out the gender. I didn’t realise I was hoping for a particular gender but when I woke up feeling disappointed this morning I realised maybe I had been. I’m so grateful for this baby & I’m sure I will have forgotten about these feelings when I see their little face. It’s just a bit upsetting (I’m upset with myself) to see my partner buzzing with excitement while I can’t help but feel a little bit down. It’s a bit confusing - especially as I didn’t even think it was possible for me to conceive! I’m sure I will wake up tomorrow morning wanting to give myself a slap across the face & feeling super excited once more and these thoughts will just be a distant (horrible) memory.

What lovely scan news from you all! Congrats. Here's to lots of lovely flutterings and another couple of months of glowing before it all gets far too serious...
