Hey ladies, glad the saline spray is working for you. Think we will definitely give that a go if it starts affecting feeding.
@feb2022 that is a beautiful head of hair! My DC also has a full head like my first born, but this time I got away without the heartburn!
The sleep deprivation is so hard isn't it, kind of reassured it's not just us with the lack of sleep. Last night I managed 4 hours of broken sleep but the night before it was less than 3 hours which was hard as my toddler is home the last two days of the week with me.

@FebBabyNo1

By the way: never try and handprint a six week old... What a mess! Haha :)
Beautiful card! Happy mother's day to you all for Sunday! X

Happy Mother's Day everyone.

Happy Mother's Day all!
So I've made a massive sleeping mistake tonight 😂. Managed to get DD into a little routine of bath at 6:15, bottle then bed by 7, normally back up around 8:30 as she doesn't have much of a bottle at 7 then back to sleep for around 3 hours. Tonight this silly mum brought her down after bath, had bottle at 7:30 (of course she had the full thing) and has fallen asleep on the sofa- still bloody asleep at half 10!! I'm so tired and half asleep on the rug on the floor 🤦🏼‍♀️ feel like this is a learning curve hahaha

Are any of you breastfeeding and if so how is it going for you all?

I am 5 weeks in now and it’s been going really well, but it’s still so messy. Does the strong let down last forever? I have to wear breast pads 24/7 as when I start feeding, the other nipple obviously leaks a lot but does this continue throughout or does it settle once things are a bit more established? I just can’t imagine not changing breast pads continuously and sleeping with a towel but it’s the only part of the whole breastfeeding experience that I am not enjoying!

becarefuloutthere · 03/04/2022 22:37

@catinthehat12 also 5 weeks in and same with the leakage and breast pads. I've just bought some reusable ones as I've got through so many disposable. I sleep in a bra top thing, have ordered some more from jojo. Perhaps that might help so that you don't need a towel.

catinthehat12 · 08/04/2022 09:36

@becarefuloutthere Glad it’s not just me. Have just had a look on jojo and can see what you’re talking about, they look so much more useful. I wish I had looked earlier!
I have been using the silicon ones at night, however my let down has gotten strong enough to seep out the side of them now. Thank you for the vest idea, I am going to have a proper look now and get some ordered.

becarefuloutthere · 08/04/2022 14:47

@catinthehat12 I started using the reusable ones yesterday and all good so far although they do slip so I've had some leakage still! Their nighttime bras are good tho, tho I wish they did an XL size, the L is not cutting it 😅
Let me know how you get on with the vest.

Hi girls, my baby girl is two months old & has baby acne [milia] when she was born. The doctors said it would go away but it still hasn't. Should I be concerned? X
