@AndTheyLivedHappilyEverAfter I had a forceps delivery with an episiotomy ten days ago. I'm still quite sore down there specially when I cough and sneeze. In terms of healing, I think it'll take longer than I thought because I really want to begin walking too but I'm still waddling due to the episiotomy constricting me from even sitting on a chair. I have to actually use soft cushions..

I'm due today and just brought some clary sage essential oil! Too scared to smell it just yet...

@BabyFeb22 Glad to hear your DH is ok, must have been quite a night for you.

I am hopeful for today but have no idea if I am anywhere close or just struggling with late pregnancy pains! I was woken up this morning at 4am with painful cramping in my back and around to the front, not at all like contractions have been explained to me though, it was quite constant and didn’t wave as I expected. I managed to run a bath and then eventually got back to sleep once it all died down at about 7:30am, I woke up again after an hour with the same pains but they definitely are much more sparse now. Everyone seems to say you will know what a contraction is, but I really don’t have a clue what to expect and these pains aren’t exactly clear! Anyone else still patiently waiting for something to happen?

Me, just had a walk. Had a little lower back pain. I know what you mean about no being sure about contractions.... Had a little tightening down one side of my belly when trying to express but no Branson Hicks or anything yet... 🤔

I’m due tomorrow and so far no signs at all. By this point with my DD1, she was already 4 days old. I was asked to go into hospital for a checkup on Friday due to a pain in my back and all the way down my left leg. I’ve been told I’ve got sciatica/trapped nerve which is more than likely caused by baby’s position. They asked if I wanted to be induced but I declined, I don’t want to force my baby out if there’s no medical reason too. Also I had to be induced with my 1st and it was all rather traumatic so I’d like to go into labour naturally this time if at all possible. I’m in no rush though, I’m happy for him to be about a week late if that’s what he wants 🥰

I've still got 2 whole weeks to go... I'm so over being pregnant now!

I had my baby girl at the weekend! It has been an absolute whirlwind and now trying to recover. Hardest thing has been the time away from my toddler.

So lots of strong period and lower back pains, comes and goes every 3/4 mins.

No waters broken, no plug, no tightening or contractions...but my bump is rock hard.

Is this latent phase or getting ready for latent phase?

@PrettyPlatapus I didn't think mine were contractions but they were! If I'd have been at home, I wouldn't have made it to the hospital in time because they weren't what I imagined at all!

Were they around your bump? Mines only lower back and pelvic floor area.
Did you lose you plug and waters?

No was all in the bottom of my tummy - started losing my plug at the same time. I was due to be induced anyway and when I went in they said it wasnt contractions but it was!

38+1 today and I physically can't walk, I rolled over in bed last night and the pain in my pelvis & hips was excruciating, today it feels like my bones are dislocating (sorry only way to describe it)
So hard when my toddlers seem to be extra demanding and one is full of cold
I AM SO DONE WITH BEING PREGNANT!!

Happy due date to us - Had a really achy groin over the weekend but nothing happened - Woke up with bad period like pains at 2am this morning - they only last about a minute and then i feel as if nothing happened - they’ve continued but are irregular between 15 & 30 mins - just had some brown discharge on wiping after the loo - this could be it - no waters gone yet mind - what do we think or could it just be a practice run!

@feb2022 sorry to hear this hun! :( I know it’s hard but try your best to keep moving it might ease a bit of tension xx

Anyone else’s due date today? I don’t have any signs what so ever. I think little man is very comfortable and got no plan to come anytime soon 😆

@Dogt17 yes we are due today! she may make an appearance today - I think I’ve had show & contractions are getting stronger and longer - hope your time comes soon! X
