Thought I'd make a thread for those of us who have been through treatment or faced infertility and are finally pregnant.

I have just got my BFP following frozen embryo transfer! It is still very early early days but I've had my beta today at 11dp5dt which was 474 so very pleased.

It's now the anxious wait to the 7 week scan at the end of the month!

I'm 17 weeks tomorrow. I had my 16 week midwife check up during the week. Aside from a blood pressure test and them testing my urine it could have been a phonecall.

I have a private scan tomorrow.

17 weeks today. Started feeling definite movements recently. I've got my 16 week appointment on Wednesday and 20 week scan on 21st March.

I was finally getting energy back, but tired last couple days. Hoping it's just due to a covid jab on Friday.

Hello, I’m 17 weeks too. Had my midwife appointment today, and like @cakecakecheese it was very quick - urine check and reporting my booking bloods. They didn’t want to listen to baby’s heartbeat but I pushed for it, and it did take them a minute to find, but it was there and so wonderful to hear. Next stop 20 week scan 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Are you ladies doing NCT or any other classes? Xx

Cakecakecheese · 07/03/2022 18:45

@TeaAndCrumpets1 I've booked NCT classes as there's not much in the way of NHS classes where I am.

Glad everyone is doing well! Had my 16 week and it was a phone call, no more than a check in to be honest and no tests. We've booked NCT too, mainly to try and find some mat leave company!

Hey everyone!

I’m in my 17th week too. My midwife appointment was last week, did urine sample and blood pressure. Also got to hear babies heartbeat which was amazing ❤️ We had a private scan yesterday and found out we are having a little girl 💕 I’m still being sick and really tired but other than that I feel good! Is anyone else finding out the gender?

ToCaden · 11/03/2022 18:08

@lori23TTC yup. I'm hoping to find out the gender at my 20 week scan which will be on the 21st March. Not too long, though it feels like it's ages away.

Sickness seems to have passed for me, though acid reflux is still an occasional issue. I'm still getting tired in afternoons, particularly when I've done physical activity in the morning, but just happy to have energy in the morning at least.

Had a look at baby outfits today and almost walked away with an adorable tiny waistcoat outfit on sale, but not sure whether buying it would be a good idea yet. Have people started buying baby clothes or have an idea when they'll start doing so?

Cakecakecheese · 11/03/2022 20:12

All I would say about buying clothes is while I get wanting to go out and buy cute stuff, don't buy very much at all. People are bound to buy you stuff plus they grow so fast they're not in it for long, you don't want to end up with loads of stuff they've not even worn! Also it might be worth holding out to see how big your baby is likely to be. No point buying newborn stuff if you are going to have a big baby!

Although having said that, no harm in buying a few cute bits Smile

Lori23TTC · 13/03/2022 09:06

@ToCaden nope that’s not long but I know what you mean I count down all the days until my scans as I just want to check she’s ok all the time!
I am tired all the time still too but hoping that will pass soon.
We brought a few little outfits after we found out the gender but I know we will get lots brought for us so not going mad and just getting a few essentials 🥰 I need to start on a list of everything we need. Hope everyone is well xx
