saw midwife today and she’s told me baby is fully back to back and she thinks I’m right to be going for the elective section this time because I’d likely end up with a very similar experience to my last if I didn’t.

Has also said if all is well with me and baby we could probably get out of hospital within 24 hours so keeping my fingers crossed because I have a lot of anxiety over staying in.

Consultant appt Monday so we’ll see how that goes

@xTinkerbell same here, the only thing I am anxious about a c section is how long id have to stay in too. Im glad they're keeping a check on things for you. I have my consultant appointment next Tuesday day after you. Wonder if we will get our c section dates booked in then.

@Curlymam88 I was in 3 nights with my last but that was emergency and I was unwell so hoping for a smoother one this time and out more quickly. I think I’ll feel a lot better once I have the date.

Fingers crossed we get booked in. When’s your due date?

@xTinkerbell same here. With my daughter I was in on the 20th December and out on Xmas eve so about 3/4 days. I hated it. I felt like I was in prison. 🤣
Due date this time is 22nd December but because im diabetic and the growth scans are showing shes big already my doctor said ill probably be booked in after my next scan. Im really counting down now, feel so uncomfortable. When is your due date?

Is your daughters birthday the 20th of December?

My due date is Christmas Day but all my paperwork’s been done for c section so just waiting on the date now. Hoping to get it soon because I’m so anxious about my sons birthday and Christmas being so close to it

@xTinkerbell yep dd8 is born 20th December and this one is supposed to be 22nd 🤣 but more than likely beginning of December if not earlier.

My little boy is the 20th of December too!

How funny@Curlymam88 and @xTinkerbell that both your kids are in the same day.. I have my midwife appointment on Friday. Wondering what she will say. How has everyone been so far?

I've had a welcome return of heartburn and sickness this evening. I keep saying to myself only 7 weeks to go 😂😂
When do you get to go over birth plan with midwife usually? Im a planner and getting stressed it's not even been mentioned to me yet 🤔

@jadey1991 I could still opt for vbac if I wanted to but I think I’m quite accepting of the c section. I had a really rough time with my first. He was also back to back and got stuck turning. Had a trial of forceps then c section and I’m not keen to repeat any of that again.

@jadey1991 that’s the only one I’ve bought too. I don’t know what I’m having and thought it was a nice little Christmassy something for Christmas day. Not planning any other Christmas outfits.

I keep getting heartburn too. And insomnia has come back. Had the most rubbish sleep last night, it puts me out then the next day. Feel like total rubbish this morning. I agree, the weeks need to go by fast now!

@xTinkerbell aww bless. You are keeping baby gender a surprise. In a way I wish I did that but we was too eager to find out.
Just finished doing school run after so long. I feel shattered now.

I've bought a matching christmas pyjama set for all of us this year (x 7 sets for me,hubby and all 5 kids) and even our 14yr old dog has got a matching one too haha
I feel for you guys with heartburn......I can't lay a certain way on the sofa too long otherwise it comes on! I'm getting lots of round ligament pain on bottom left of my stomach....only lasts a min but super sore,I thought being my 5th every ligament would ease into place lol

@jadey1991 im the same after school run. Baby brain appeared early this morning...I forgot where I parked the car! Was literally stood there in a street trying to remember where I parked it.
@lovebeingmum9 I've bought matching pjs and babygrow for us too even the rabbit has her own Xmas jumper 😁 I've been getting pains down low but dont know if its round ligament or not.

@jadey1991 same here with the discharge. Its not jelly like though. Is mucus plug jelly like I thought?
