@Curlymam88 oh fear hun have you spoke to your midwife? Could be a sign of baby coming.
I've been having pains today and a slight back ache but it comes and goes. I've actually gotta call my midwife as my fingers, toes and legs are swollen. I keep getting really bad heartburn too

@jadey1991 I've not spoke to her. If it carries on I will call though. But you definitely should phone if you got swelling.

I also been getting constant heartburn too. Even at night it wakes me up. I have rennies by my bed.

@Curlymam88 I've tried calling her a Couple times but no answer. My legs feels so tight. I press down on the skin to see if I have any built up fluid but it appeared fine. I also googled it but they say it's common as I'm nearing the end of pregnancy but I cannot deal with it.

@Curlymam88 are you feeling any better? Ring your midwife or triage if you're worried, always better to get checked over than to sit and worry- If you feel like something isn't right trust your instincts! And I know how you feel about the heartburn, it keeps me up at night!! I'm living on rennies as well x

@jadey1991 oh no, hope you're okay! It's a pain trying to get hold of midwives sometimes isn't it?! Hopefully she gets back to you soon but in the meantime get your feet up and relax, maybe have a warm bath? X

I lost some of my mucus plug over the weekend and had back pains last night and was convinced I was in labour but it's subsided now so no sign of baby yet!

@burtle4 oh wow baby's a really good size! My bump was measuring literally off the chart at my last midwife appointment and I've got my 34 week one tomorrow so hoping that bump has slowed down a bit otherwise I'll be off for another growth scan! Maybe we'll both have big babies x

@cutejeans thanks hun.. oh really? Have you got that checked? As I know that could lead the infections if not checked.. how far are you again? X

@jadey1991 no I googled it and read it was okay to lose some and could still mean labour is weeks away but didn't know about possible infection.. I was in two minds about ringing my midwife but decided not to bother! I've got an appointment tomorrow morning with her so I'll definitely tell her then x

@cutejeans aww bless you hun, yes defo find out with midwife. She may want to check you over too. X keep us all updated with how things go tomorrow x

@jadey1991 nothing to do with baba I just caught it. My little boy was ill a week ago so think I got it from him. So miserable feeling! But hoping I’m past the worst of it now

@xTinkerbell oh yes hun I've had the bug myself. So I know how your feeling. I've still slightly got a runny nose and it's been over a week now. This is the longest I've ever been ill. I do hope you get better soon.
How is things with baby?

@jadey1991 I’m feeling the same. Longest it’s taken me to get over something. Feel so guilty phoning in sick to work but not much I can do.

Everything is good with baby. 33 weeks now and wriggling away quite happily in there

@xTinkerbell aww I hear you hun but not much you can do unfortunately.
Glad baby is doing well. I'm 33 weeks 2 days now. Had a growth scan on 2/11/21 and baby is doing well. Weighing 4lb8oz at the moment. So I'm really happy

@jadey1991 so am I! Are you due Christmas Day too?

Yea hun I am due Xmas day lol.
But I don't think he will wait till then. I have a feeling he will come end of this month early dec. I could be wrong but I just have a feeling x

@tuxedocat I had looked at the ergo baby. It had really good reviews online.

Anyone just sick of general aches and pains? I've had bad sciatica for weeks but I just feel like my pelvis is always achey. I'm only sleeping a couple of hours a nights as can't get comfy.
I'm so sick of people going "it'll be worse once baby is here, you'll get no sleep". 😳 at least insist he aching constantly!

@Theawkwardblonde yes hun I'm starting to feel this way now too. I'm not sleeping properly because my left leg aches all the time. Exactly what you said at least when baby is here I won't be achy.. might be drained but it's all worth it.

Yep, have a lot of pelvis pain, especially when I get up after sitting or lying down. I do a lot of dog walking and it's getting really uncomfortable, especially when the braxton hicks kick in half way up a hill 😂 the midwife yesterday said she'd refer me to a physio but with not long left to go it seems a bit late!

@jadey1991oh really? Fingers crossed for you! I’m having a c section so my wee one will definitely be here before Christmas just not sure when. Praying I don’t go into labour before the date of my elective.

@Theawkwardblonde I remember that when I was pregnant with my first. I had awful insomnia later stages and people would be like ‘just wait till the babies here’ I was just like at least I’ll be physically able to sleep when I can!

@Theawkwardblonde yes I'm starting to get fed up now! Back ache, heartburn and cramps are all having my life! Baby's kicks are starting to get painful now too, does anyone else feel like they're bruised from the inside out?! Counting down the minutes till he's here lol

@cutejeans im feeling a bit better today thank you, im still getting palpitations bit not been dizzy or sick today.
@Theawkwardblonde yep, very uncomfortable here too. Takes me ages to try drop off to sleep. Then im up after a while needing the loo.
@xTinkerbell ill be having a c section too. I think ill be given my date for it next Tuesday after my growth scan.
