@Curlymam88 oh exciting! I hope you get your date. I think I might be having to chase mine up.

@jadey1991 yeah I had an emergency section with my first and been recommended to have sections with any future babies because what happened with him would probably happen again. Not got my date yet, paperwork was all filled in 3 weeks ago and I was told it’d be sent to me but heard nothing yet so going to ask the consultant on Monday when I see her.

@xTinkerbell I hope so too. I feel like I've reached full capacity now.
@jadey1991 did you manage to get hold of midwife? How's your swelling today?

@xTinkerbell aww bless you. I've never had a c-section before. I've had normal deliveries.

@Curlymam88 yes I did hun she called me today but she won't see me until Friday. Swelling is annoying me as I cannot sleep properly. My legs feel so tight. I woke up at 3am and had a shower to try and relax my body but that didn't work. I just feel so exhausted. I've never experienced this in any of my other pregnancies. How are you feeling today x

@jadey1991 Friday?? Thats a bit rubbish. What about Epsom and magnesium salts in a bath? Would that help maybe?
I'm feeling ok today thanks, better than I was yesterday. It was really odd yesterday. I've not been sick or dizzy today just racing heart occasionally.

@Curlymam88 apparently they are fully booked so I have to wait till 12th when it's my appointment. I've tried everything hun. Bless my 7 year daughter. She was massaging my legs for me yesterday.. I know that once I've had baby my legs will be better. It's just waiting 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

@jadey1991 oh bless her thats so sweet looking after her mamma 😊 I know how you feel, I think im feeling crappy now but we are almost there. Not long left to go

How's everyone doing.....I haven't got a mw app until 16th and haven't had a consultant conversation since my last scan so I'm a bit in limbo as to wether they have me booked for requested induction on due date.....every pregnancy has been the same where I have to push to see i get one and go all round the houses with new consultants when its all in their paperwork anyway!? frustrating......im feeling the strain a bit this week....heavy,uncomfortable and fed up but I also know its the final countdown and counting my blessings and trying to enjoy final moments of my last pregnancy x

@lovebeingmum9 hey hun, yes we a lot of us haven't been getting notifications. Did I not mention it in the old thread? Baby brain 🧠... I hate when you have to chase people down. Im feeling like you hun. I think we all are. Im trying to enjoy my final moments with pregnancy as this is my last too but it's so hard to. 🤦🏽‍♀️

just think how amazing we will all feel snuggling newborns at Christmas time! For 1st time ever I've bought us all matching Christmas pj's including 0-3month for baby and our dog lol 😆 Whats everyone looking forward to most once babies are here? x

@lovebeingmum9 lol I can agree on the baby brain for years. My eldest is 13 and still I forget things lol. I think it's just got worse lol. I've been feeling rather crap lately. My hands,legs,feet are swollen. I haven't slept much because my legs ache and wake me up. I also agree on the snuggles with baby when he comes. I'm looking forward to my family being complete now lol. And enjoying my Christmas with them. Plus many more years lol. Also a good nights sleep lol 😂 how about yourself?

Aw bless you sounds like your having it rough too and what with the swelling not fun! Thats one thing I haven't had this pregnancy is much if any swelling....but I remember having my ankles swelling up in previous pregnancies! The sleep is terrible isn't it! like you my legs ache but deep within like the bones so no rubbing helps.....im stressing over the small stuff like hospital bag,housework,christmas etc but I know they will all dissolve away when little one gets here! Yes I agree it will be nice to feel and know the families complete.....shut one door and open another! Im not much of a drinker but im looking forward to a glass of baileys this Christmas lol and get back in shape after so long 😊 i know it sounds a bit self indulged but everytime I've got back in shape and bought nice new clothes we've had another baby so I've yoyod alot x

@lovebeingmum9 I've deffo had baby brainand it seems to be getting worse. I lost my socks today. No idea where they are. Took them off for a shower and cant find them. I've had brain fog so bad lately.
I've been thinking alot about Xmas this year. I want to pit the Xmas tree up end of November hopefully just before baby is born so when we come home from hospital it'll all be cosy with the Xmas tree lights on and then snuggling up to watch Xmas films 🤣 been thinking alot about the first time my partner sees the baby and excited to see the look on his face and when we bring baby home and my daughter meets her new sister 💗

@lovebeingmum9 ahh yes I have to get back into shape myself. Love the weight but not the cellulite.. so once baby is a few months old I am going gym. Lol

@Curlymam88 it's funny u say that I can't wait to see baby myself. My daughters and hun y are so excited. They can't wait to hold him and see who he looks like. I reckon baby will look like his dad

@Curlymam88 Haha I wonder where your socks have got to 🤣 Its a nightmare isn't it.....the amount of times I've started a conversation and completely forgot what I was saying mid way through!
Aaw thats so lovely.....Christmas is such a Magical time of the year and to bring a baby home to a decorated,cozy,warm and loved home is the best! our 4 children have all been born in all 4 seasons and our youngest birthday is on 4th of December.....he will be 2! so like you want the Christmas tree and all lights and decs up end of November ready for both birthdays this year! Wrapping them up in blankets and being able to chill out indoors will be amazing!
@jadey1991 aw bet your daughters will love newborn brother cuddles....we have a tradition that the youngest sibling in the house gets the 1st hold/cuddle with new baby.....means all of them have had the 1st at some point! Me and daughter are outnumbered with boys but the real question is what hair colour baby will have.....3 of us have ginger hair and 3 of us have brown hair so this is the decider! lol 😆

@lovebeingmum9 yes that's the same here I'll let my youngest daughter have first cuddles and then the eldest lol. They both wanted a brother so I'm happy. Aw my partner is happy now we have a son on the way coz he was outnumbered too lol. I think I might put my decorations at some point if I can.. I tend to do it on the 1st December but I think that will have to change this year lol. As for hair colour I know he will have dark hair coz we all have dark hair. My girls have black hair as they are mixed race and I have dark brown hair lol. Me and partner were talking about eye colour last night. I have blue eyes and hubby and daughters have brown lol

@jadey1991 aw thats lovely! My daughter wanted a brother each time as she said she wanted to be the only girl...so she's very happy to be outnumbered but not outsmarted lol Aw the genes absolutely facinate me,hair,skin,eye colours etc etc....I was only one in my family with brown eyes as a kids the rest had blue/green! Now me and 2 sons have ginger hair and pale skin but hubby,daughter and son have brown hair and olive skin,then theres 4 of us have brown eyes but our 2 ginger sons have blue eyes.....we are a right mixture 😆

@lovebeingmum9 aww that must be so lovely to see a mixture. It's funny coz my mum is ginger but none of my siblings and myself are ginger. Nor are my nephews. I'm my mum was the only one who had ginger hair out her siblings too. Funny how it works

@jadey1991 the ginger gene can show through temperament if not hair colour 😅 haha wow its all amazing isn't it!

@lovebeingmum9 @jadey1991 me and my partner have been having the exact same conversations about hair and eye colour! I've got brown eyes and he's got blue! Ginger runs in his family and my mum says I was 'strawberry blonde' (AKA ginger) when I was born, then we were both bright blonde as toddlers so we reckon baby will be the same! It's our first so got nothing to compare xx

@lovebeingmum9 @cutejeans it's just amazing how our children look like either ourselves or our partners.

@jadey1991@cutejeans aw its exciting its your first! I remember when our 1st our daughter was born and she looked exactly like my hubby lol but now she's 10 and see lots of me in her now! And then when we had our son we thought he would look the same but he looked like me,now he's 7 lots of dad in him too so they are all a real mix of us both..... its incredible really!

@lovebeingmum9 haha snap, my eldest looked like her dad then when she was growing up she started looking like me. Now she is a teenager she looks like her dad. My youngest is a spitting image of her dad. You defo cannot see a thing of me in her 🤦🏽‍♀️. Maybe when she grows up she will but I doubt it.
