Praying for a sticky one for you too. It's so worrying when one hasn't stuck you can't seem to relax or believe you are pregnant

maymum94 · 25/08/2021 18:27

Sticky bean thoughts all around ladies how is everyone feeling today ?

@maymum94 I'm not doing too bad bit tired and sore boobs but that's about it! Has everyone rang midwife yet? X

summertimes2021 · 25/08/2021 19:12

I'm tired too and itchy nipples

I haven't called yet as I'm too worried as last time I did I had to cancel via email as they didn't answer the phone :(

Skl2021 · 25/08/2021 19:24

@summertimes2021 I was going to wait a bit aswell I'm only 4 weeks today it just doesn't feel real 🙈🤦 but then others ring straight away 🤔🙈

Soph1792 · 25/08/2021 19:30

Been feeling a little bit crampy for the past few days so that puts me on edge..
In my area we can't self refer our self to the midwife's until after 6 weeks x

maymum94 · 25/08/2021 19:33

@Soph1792 our area is same we sept refer after 6 weeks and then will have booking appt with 12weeks scan x

@maymum94 from what I remember in my area we have our booking appointment between 8-10 weeks and then the first scan at 12 weeks..
It has been over 3 years since I've got that far x

Cramps seem to have subsided but have had a really bad headache all day. I remember getting them for the first few weeks during my previous pregnancies. I’m going to fill in the self referral forms this week but not sure when they will want to do the booking in. Had it about 7 weeks first time around then really early on the next time. I’d only just had a positive test a few days before and felt like a bit of a fraud as I was only 4.5 weeks and had no symptoms at that point 😂

maymum94 · 26/08/2021 10:04

How's everyone today morning sickness has hit hard for me now

ninadust · 26/08/2021 10:20

@maymum94 nausea is quite bad for me also! Also got slight cramping on the right hand side, but nothing severe, more like twinging!

Soph1792 · 26/08/2021 10:36

@maymum94 I felt a little nausea this morning but nothing too bad yet.. I'm just thankful the cramping seems to have stopped today

forestlovr · 26/08/2021 10:45

Nausea has been coming in waves for the past couple of days and only slight cramping occasionally so far

MarmaladeToastAndAMarmaladeCat · 26/08/2021 11:07

No nausea for me but I didn’t have any until 6 weeks the last 2 times. Feel pretty normal at the moment!

Cartref30 · 26/08/2021 14:33

Last week felt very dizzy and a bit strange. AF due yesterday, today woke up feeling like I NEEDED to test and got this! Completely new to this… what happens now? I calculate 4 weeks 3 days from first day of last period so very early days. Do I just wait and hope for a week or two then retest?!

Cartref30 · 26/08/2021 14:36

Not sure why my photo hasn’t attached - it was of two positive clear blue tests!

Due May 22
maymum94 · 26/08/2021 14:55

@Cartref30 yeah you can do that's looks pretty positive to me. Unless you have any bleeding or anything that your concerned it's a waiting game. You might need to do a quick search but after your about 6 weeks in my area you self refer and you get a combined booking appt and scan at 12weeks I may book a private scan just after I'm about 6/7weeks to go see if everything is straight forward until then.

Cartref30 · 26/08/2021 15:03

@maymum94 ahh I’m really struggling to not get excited and remember it’s very early. I can understand completely why you’d want an early scan, 12 weeks seems so far away when you find out early doesn’t it!

maymum94 · 26/08/2021 15:15

@Cartref30 definitely does I was like this the first time found out early and was going to wait until 12 caved at 7weeks went for an early scan. It's so hard to believe in the early days but the sickness is helping me know that it's really happening again.
