Anyone else find out there due in May 22 and want to share our journeys

Hey @haz452 yeah first and also first time I’ve ever had a pregnancy so I just think I’d be too lucky for it to stick. What about you?
How did you manage to get through the week?

@AllyCat31 I am the same. Did it take you long to fall pregnant? Well am 5 weeks tomorrow I had a bit of cramps last week and sore boobs but thats all so far. X

It took 4 cycles but that took 8 months cause my period has been all over the place after 15 years on the pill and then the covid vaccine messed up my cycle again or meant I didn’t ovulate. What about you @haz452 ? All I had was cramping 4-6DPO which was as bad a period and nothing else. It doesn’t feel real!

I am also feeling really anxious. Both my previous pregnancies resulted in 2 healthy babies which I feel so lucky and thankful for and it seems almost too good to be true to have another one if you know what I mean.

@AllyCat31 I was the same was on the pill 17 years and took ages for my body to get back to normal and the same with the Covid vaccine I've only had one what about? Worried about getting the second one now as the one I got they don't give to people in there 30s. So what date will you be due? X

Welcome and congratulations @AllyCat31 if you think about it we've got 8 months already a month in when we find out and trust me your anxiety the entire time worst when they are in your arms. Xx

Thank you @maymum94 of course! I forget it’s the extra few weeks. I’m so new to this, it’s gonna take a while to get used to it. Do you have any tips for the anxiety or just enjoy the level it’s at now cause it will get worse 🤣

@haz452 thankfully I’m double jabbed already so I don’t need to make that choice. That must be so hard. I’m sure you’ll make the best decision for you. I think I’ll be due roughly on the 17th May based on when I ovulated cause this cycle was really long.. I got the vaccine a few days into this cycle and so I was surprised I ovulated, let alone got a line. What about you? It’s nice to speak to people who are at least roughly the same and share all the same anxiety and joy too 🙂

@AllyCat31 I have my midwife app next wed so going to speak to her and see if I get another vaccine for the 2nd dose. Am due the 3rd may I think are you going to get a private scan or wait until your 12 weeks? X

@AllyCat31 nope this is second time around and I'm already anxious like crazy. This early stay all you can do is take it day by day. It's very hard as it's so uncertain until the baby is in your arms but I just try keep positive and the sickness kind of helps everyone kept telling me last time must be strong hormones yours so sick.

Hello! 🥰 I got my BFP on the 18th August and I’m 5 weeks today. Thought we were further on but when I had bloods done for a HCG check with the early pregnancy unit last week, I was showing levels as 4/5 weeks last Thursday so I’m now due around 2nd May.

So excited but also petrified for these next 7 weeks! I’ve got the midwife on Friday for the booking in appointment 🥰

@haz452 I think we will go for a private scan at around 8weeks and then also do a harmony test at around 11-12 on top of our nhs ones. Just want everything to be perfect. That’s good you’ve got a midwife appointment! I haven’t been able to get hold of the booking clinic today and was sent around the houses a bit so that’s tomorrow’s job.
Yeah I guess the worry is a sign of how much the baby is loved and wanted already @maymum94 - just got to try my best to keep my cool haha

Hi everyone, please I can join? I got my BFP on Saturday after 2 years of trying and on our first round of IVF.
I’m 4 weeks today, due May 9th. I’m very nervous as I had a CP/early MC at 4 + 4 weeks almost a year ago. As I did IVF I’ll get an early scan at 7 weeks so hoping once that happens I’ll relax a bit.
How is everyone getting on? I’m starting to feel a bit nauseous and boobs are settling down ☺️

I haven’t really had any symptoms yet which doesn’t help my nerves but my tests were very strong so I’m trying not to worry. My due date is either 1st or 3rd May depending if I go by conception or period. So I’m around 5 weeks now! I think I’m breathless sometimes and I felt a tiny bit nauseous one morning but that’s it… I’m sure I’ll be looking back on no symptoms with envy if they do develop though!

@LS2020 I'm had major nausea and vomiting already. Nothing with my boobs though but not sure I will tell as I'm actually breastfeeding still.

Hi all, may I join? I'm due #3 May 09 and am very excited! Booked my 8 & 13 week scans today (not in the UK, so different scan dates)

I got my BFP 4 days ago and was waiting to surprise DH but he caught me vomitting this morning so that ruined that plan! I'd forgotten how nauseated I get in pregnancy.

I have 2 DC and 1 MMC in the bag, so fingers crossed for now!

@RosettaTheGardenFairy welcome and congratulations and I feel you I feel like I've spent the weekend in the toilet bowl. I'm due 4 with #2

@Cartref30 I will swap you my nausea for your tests! 😂 worried a bit that my tests aren’t darker than control but they were close this morning so hopefully they darken a bit.

@maymum94 thankfully not throwing up but I had a mushroom risotto the other night and I did so well keeping that down! My boobs are started to settle down. I’m on progesterone pessaries so up to the day after my BFP they were like rock hard sore to breathe near but they settled down to this inherent ache and only complain if I move them!

@RosettaTheGardenFairy hi! We will hopefully have the same due date but this will be my first ☺️ Okay I thought my nausea was bad but im just glad im not physically throwing up now!!

@LS2020 the throwing up gets me and the all day nausea I've barely left bed this long weekend.

Hi all! BFP on Thursday morning (the 26th) and so happy and anxious at the same time, as we all are. Estimated due date 6th May. This will be our first and I can hardly think about anything else at the moment. Most prevalent symptom has been pressure/pinching in the uterus and tiredness. A bit of nausea and a funny little slight headache. I've read almonds can help to quell nausea (plus they're a healthy snack) so I may buy a bag tomorrow and try a few next time I'm feeling queasy. I'll report back on my findings!
