Hi all. This message of TMI was brought to you by CM. Got a question and this may sound strange, but can you please tell me if this is a concern. I'm stuffy in my nose and feel like a mucous factory. I've got the same slightly yellow congestion in my nose as is in the knickers when I (as SK says)scrutinize my CM. Kind of yellowy and stringy. No one seems to be concerned...there is no foul odor just mild itching..just kind of well..gross. Nothing like thrush or anything. ok that's all.

Big love to Ellie! How you doing?

McChesers - I could be wrong, but this may be related to the fact that when you are pregnant you produce more fluid in your body - I had glue ear a couple of months ago, never had it before, and my GP suggested the above as a reason. So that might explain your extra mucous. As long as it is not smelly I wouldn't worry too much about it!
Ellie & Justjules - good luck for your scans today!

spugs · 30/11/2007 09:37

mc - excess snot (in all areas!) is perfectly normal. infact its a good sign. as long as its not smelly, itchy or a funny colour its fine.

ellie &jules - good luck for your scans

EllieG · 30/11/2007 09:48

Good luck jules xxx

goingfor3christmaspuddings · 30/11/2007 10:32

McChesers as far as I know it's very normal.

Jules and Ellie good luck for the scans today.

becklebigbump · 30/11/2007 11:52

McCheesers, I had the snot stuff too - mine was a lovely greeny colour! I saw the MW who checked me for infections but it came up as all clear - I think I had had a UTI but managed to flush it out. Might be worth having your urine checked just in case? Am sure it is nothing to worry about, it wasn't when I had it, but I needed the reassurance from MW!

MrsMc, sorry to hear your appt was not good , some of these consultants are not 'people persons' are they?! As you say though, it is often better to know all the risks. How are you keeping otherwise?

Hi to everyone else, hoping you are all healthy and well. Still keeping ears out for news from Glimmer...

Well is my last day of daytime job today! Finished evening job last week so MAT leave officially starts this evening!!! I am very ready for it this time! Have spring cleaning and final preparation plans for next week and then...relax...
Hows it all going for you Bouncing?

Bouncingturtle · 30/11/2007 13:48

Been good, got a few things done, but keep adding to my list of things to do! Not been very well though have had a bad headache/migraine since yesterday morning, poor night's sleep so totally knackered today. DH has agreed to go pick my dad from the airport without me so I'm going to try and grab some kip. Hopefully I'll perk up by the time her gets here! God knows what's brought on this headache!

just popped in to say hi ]

EllieG · 30/11/2007 16:03

Scan was all good....and it's a .....GIRL!

Scanning lady was a grumpy cow and I was nearly in tears she made me so nervous - wouldn't talk until she had finished - told me 'I need to concentrate, I can't answer questions until I've done the measurements' etc, but I don't care cos LO was fine and had all the right bits in the right places and I am SO relieved

EllieG · 30/11/2007 16:04

Missed you there ILTS! Does this mean you have the BFP? YEY!

sweetkitty · 30/11/2007 16:10

congratulations on your scan EllieG, sorry I don't know what you have already but a little girl wow [smile

jules - been thinking of you come and tell us how it all went

ILTS - already said congrats but congrats again

I am so emotional today, my dad phoned today and I had to tell him I'm pregnant and then my brother who told me "oh a boy this time you got to have a boy this time" no a healthy baby thats what I got to have, I hate this it's like a girl would be a disappointment and how can you be born with people already being disappointed that you don't have a willy FFS I hate it DP and I don't care it's personality not gender and you get what you are given and you be thankful. Sorry i hate all this trying for a boy stuff.

A friend also phoned to see how I was doing she had a baby boy 5 weeks ago so she was delighted I am pregnant again, said she is going to phone me every day if I go overdue to ask if I have had it yet

Bouncingturtle · 30/11/2007 16:21

Congrats EllieG!!
