drum roll have just felt Pip kick (from the outside) for the first time...dog was snoozing on my lap and legged it like she'd been shot! Shame DH missed it- he's in Chester

TJuice · 23/01/2008 23:02

yay (but jealous too of flosspot (sorry cakes) and jules. i can't say i have noticed the bubbles/flutterings movement yet, but then there is still so much going on at the moment . . . baby will probably get annoyed with my constant dopplering and kick the probe out the way at some point, i hope.

have had some intense stomach muscle or round ligament pain today though. was bending over to lock up my bike and got up and all my muscles (well, all two or them or something) locked up agonisingly.
so i missed pregnancy aqua aerobics today . . .too lazy to go, if i'm honest. its freezing here and thought of taking off my clothes and getting in water was soooo not appealing.

sweetkitty - congrats on the heartbeat - i know you've been through it before - but its really lovely isn't it? its so good that everything is going smoothly now after all those worries. so many of us have had a bit of a wobbly start . . . .

anyway, its midnight so time for me to roll into bed . . .

VictorVictoria · 24/01/2008 06:20

Big congrats to VictorVictoria WELL DONE!!!!!!!

LOL TJuice- can't imagine willingly getting undressed in public ever again, never mind swimming...stretch mark city!

makecakesnotwar · 24/01/2008 09:21

On a different subject, we need to start thinking about a new thread....

spugs · 24/01/2008 09:27

congrats victor

lovely news from lots of other people to about kicks and mw checks mine regularly does a brilliant impression of something out of alien which looks very bizare.

kate - im sorry to hear about your test results, dnt know anything about it but you could start a thread?

hunofmonsters · 24/01/2008 09:35

congratulations victor

EllieG · 24/01/2008 14:05

congrats vv! Another graduate!

Lovely to hear you've felt the lo make cakes - I never get tired of mine. Don't know whether I will when get bigger, but I love it now, makes me all happy and squishy feeling.

hunofmonsters · 24/01/2008 15:42

MY PLACENTA HAS MOVED

Sorry for shouting, i am SO excited!

I don't have to be admitted, baby is fine, looks a normal size and waters are a normal amount. If MW agrees, then my homebirth is back on

That is SUCH a weight off my shoulders!

hotchoc · 24/01/2008 16:20

hi

my lo is 7 weeks already, how time flies, she is fantastic - of course.

mrsmcjnr particularily wondered if your baby was here yet.... seems not so good luck and i look forward to hearing how you get on. love to everyone else, looks like there are lots of new babes which should give hope to all those in the pregnant after a mc situation.

hotchoc x

ps is there a thread for graduates of the preg after m/c?

ejt1764 · 24/01/2008 16:37

congrats to VV - and to hotchoc (can't remember if I said so at the time ... blaming baby brain here!)

Well, it's a year to the day that I got my bfp ... Mairwen is now 16 weeks old!

Good luck to everybody - you do get happy endings

DonDons · 24/01/2008 18:27

Hi all - just a quicky to say hello and healthy and well to all. Having my 28 wk antiD injection tomorrow which I am dreading (hate injections).

Egg is going crazy and kicking like mad right now - think she is cheerleading for MrsMcJnr!

We do need to think of a new name though... how about 'All aboard the SS Knicker Checkers''?

TwilightSurfer · 24/01/2008 18:44

MrsMcJnr hasn't been on all day....... Did our birthing vibes do the trick?

DonDons · 24/01/2008 18:50

Think she might be otherwise engaged by the look of this

TwilightSurfer · 24/01/2008 18:59

Oh how exciting. Maybe they'll be a little MrsMcJnr by morning!!!

EllieG · 24/01/2008 20:58

Oooo! Keeping fingers crossed for MrsMc!

TwilightSurfer · 24/01/2008 22:00

Found this on the due Jan thread about MrsMcJr:

BABY NEWS ALERT *

The mini-mac is here!!!! . Little Xavier was born at 5.10pm weighing 7lbs 8oz... MrsMc's DH said that it all went fantastically well and everyone is well and happy. .... Oooh, I love baby news!!!

You next Iampg!!!! Fab... .

TwilightSurfer · 24/01/2008 22:01

Sorry the last line of that has no significance to us on this thread.

TwilightSurfer · 24/01/2008 22:09

New Thread: HERE as this one is full.

Bouncingturtle · 24/01/2008 22:14
