Bouncingturtle · 04/12/2007 18:28

Hello - especially to NH101 - love your pix, and glad to hear you are doing well

Sweetiesandcakes, my DH's boss is pg, about 8 weeks, and she has a bit of a bump in the evenings, I think it is fluid retention, but you never know! Do you have a history of twins?

Justjules, I hope you are still resting, just dictate to DH if you want to post!

Did you MC again then...was that the bad outcome??

TwilightSurfer · 04/12/2007 18:53

No test since 12NOV but at follow-up (2.5weeks) doc said since the bleeding had all stopped pregnancy hormones were gone. Figure I'll test over the weekend if AF doesn't appear before then.

TwilightSurfer my cycle was longer after my last mc by about 10 days. My bleeding lasted on and off for over three weeks though. Good luck, I really hope you do get a positive result!

So sorry. I still think conceiving again so quickly is AMAZING. The wonders (and mysteries) of the female body.

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 04/12/2007 20:43

Hi

I haven't posted for a while but complusively read this post to follow how people are getting on. I am now 8.1 days and after many false starts have an appointment with the consultant for the 20th December. I have this referral because I had a mmc in september at 20 weeks due to possible triploidy. I was feeling more positive but today I have wiped and found the tiniest trace of brown mucus. I had this with the last pregnancy and obviously that eventually resulted in pregnancy so I'm beside myself. I had already booked a private scan for Friday because even though the doctor referred me for an early scan the hospital said they couldn't do it. I felt compensated by getting the consultant referal but why did I have to discover this tiny brown bleed. Tell me it's all going to be fine and I'm doing all I can by going for the early scan.

mcchesers · 04/12/2007 23:15

p2b- It's most likely harmless. You are doing all you can with an early scan. Most of the time the brown stuff is harmless and due to normal pregnancy process things. I had some two weeks ago, but turned out to be nothing. It's a crap state of mind to be in when you've had a mc before..but you just have to try as best you can to be positive. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I hope that helps

Bouncingturtle · 05/12/2007 08:13

I too had a brown discharge as well, and again it turned out to be nothing. Try not to worry(I know easier said than done!), and just focus on the scan. Keep in touch!

p2b - how are you feeling today? Have you had any more bleeding? Sure a little bit of brown mucus is fine, though I know it all makes you worry after a MC.

nh - are you going to find out whether they are girls or boys? I couldn't wait to know, but some people have been much stronger than me. Maybe we could run a book?
Glad you are so well though hon, am really chuffed that you and your little beans are growing and lovely.

How's things today jules?

fettleandbabyfettle · 05/12/2007 09:09

minspugs · 05/12/2007 09:11

twilight - i fell after my first af after my mc, tested every few days after mc till i got a bfn and it took 2 or 3 weeks. good luck

Sweetiesandcakes · 05/12/2007 09:18

bouncingturtle - yes twins run on DHs side. We live in a 2 bed house with our DD so twins would be interesting to say the least. i fear Dh and I will end up sleeping on the sofa!!!
