congratulations Glimmer .... and good luck to all those about to graduate!

Mairwen is 9 weeks old today - and I still keep looking at her and grinning to myself, as I never believed she'd arrive!

healthy and well ... love to all from the original knicker checker

Lcy · 03/12/2007 20:50

Ok - back to the conception board already - just had some bleeding. Good luck to you all x

Jossiejump · 03/12/2007 21:25

For MaryM and all other constipated pregnant ladies!

My yoga teacher says that if you are constipated you should turn your hands plams up, leave your index and little fingers pointing straight out and touch the tips of your middle and ring fingers to the tip of your thumb.

I know this seems like a bit of hocus pocus, but I tried it this morning and actually got things moving! Probably just coincidence, but it is harmless and can't hurt to try!

Oh, one other thing I have heard her suggest for leg cramps in bed at night is to put a cork in your bed, between the mattress and the sheet!! Have not had need to try this one myself yet, but who knows

feedmenow · 04/12/2007 11:27

Sorry Lcy, I missed both your posts. Maybe it isn't what you think?

Ejt, 9 weeks already? By the way, the CD has become a legend amongst my friends cos all I remember of it is "...naturally..........vaginally.............joyfully........" in that soothing sing-song voice! They are concerned incase I start acting like a chicken as soon as a midwife says the "trigger" word, maybe "Push!". And that will be me off, flapping and squawking around the delivery room!

minspugs · 04/12/2007 11:33

imopop - good luck for your scan today hun, i have everrything crossed for you.

lcy - sorry to hear about the bleeding, have you seen you doc or the epau?

hiya mrsmc

jules - my scalp[ is all manky as well, but thankfully my skin is behaving itself (on my face not my chest!) i had bad acne with both my previous pregnancys so touch wood. hope your bleeding stops and you feel better soon.

beckle - people can be such arses cant they, i must admit to wondering if the baby i lost was a boy and if that could have been why but i think i was just trying to find some reason for what had happened.

im getting kicked to bits at the min which is lovely can tell baby is getting bigger and stronger. kicks still all low down, but i think thats because off anterior placenta

Jules, sounds like this LO is really putting you through the mill, so glad you saw tiny baby and HB though. You rest up and enjoy your choc and mag.

nh101andhertwinbeans · 04/12/2007 16:18

Hi all, been away for a few weeks cos was scared that MN might jinx me into having another miscarriage (even though I don't believe in all that!)

Anyway, I am glad to update you all and say I am now nearly 15 weeks pregnant! Both twins are doing well (check out the pics on my profile) and I am back on MN with a vengeance!

I want to say a big good luck to all those going through the worrying first trimester. I just wanted to be sedated! Hopefully you will be fine.

Jules - did I know you were PG? I remember you from TTC after MC, how far along are you? Great news on the scan!

Sorry Lcy - hopefully it is not what you think. xx

feedmenow · 04/12/2007 16:19

That's great Jules! Even though you "aren't out of the woods yet" it must be such a relief to know you are going in the right direction! Will you be having regular scans?

EllieG · 04/12/2007 16:35

Hey nh! I was wondering where you'd got to. Lovely, lovely pics of your twin beans. Can't believe you're 15 weeks already! Did you know Popsy's popped back in to say hello?

Jules - posted on other thread, but lots of hurrahs here too x

scorpio1 · 04/12/2007 16:39

Wow nh!! lovely babies, glad they stuck!

Sweetiesandcakes · 04/12/2007 16:41

nh - did you show really early with the twins?

4 +6. Very early days for me.

nh101andhertwinbeans · 04/12/2007 16:59

Hi sweetiesandcakes - I put on a lot of weight (about 8lbs) in the first trimester even though I wasn't eating rubbish (though obviously was eating much more than normal cos I was starving) and I have put it all on on my bump. I've got a quite obvious one now - I think even if I'd not known I was having twins (we found out at 7 weeks) I would have known something was different about this pregnancy before the 12-week scan. I reckon I look at least a month more than I am (especially after a big meal!).

nh101andhertwinbeans · 04/12/2007 17:02

Hi Ellie and Jules!!!

I am feeling fantastic now - it is such a buzz to get to this stage and feel like I can relax a bit. I really hope it works out for all you guys too!

I am also loving my new shape - I am in maternity clothes now and think it's fab! What I am going to look (and feel) like at 30 weeks I daren't think!

Sweetiesandcakes · 04/12/2007 17:03

thanks nh - i couldn't do my work trousers up this morning - (haven't worn them for two weeks as have been working from home)so had to send DH up in the loft to dig out my maternity ones. I'm sure its all fluid but was wondering if its hiding two beans instead of one?

iliketotrickortreat · 04/12/2007 17:08

just lurking but i reckon that...

nh101s twinsies are a boy and a girl, the top being a girl and the bottom being a boy

nh101andhertwinbeans · 04/12/2007 17:38

I think so too! I think Twin 2 (top) looks like a girl - she has my button nose.
