@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 hopefully it will pass & not return! Cramps always make me anxious. Hopefully no side effects for you, it's not nice feeling rough on top of pregnancy 🙃

babyD20 · 15/08/2021 09:41

When have people due in February or with previous babies felt baby move for the first time. I am 15 weeks today x

haidri · 15/08/2021 10:21

I'm 14+2 and also wondering when to feel and recognise movement 🤷🏻‍♀️

feb2022 · 15/08/2021 10:33

@babyD20 it was about 16+ weeks with baby number 1 (flutters)
Baby no2 was around 13-14 weeks (only very slight at first had to really concentrate when lying down (also flutters)
This little bean I've felt the odd popping sensation but no propper movement and I'm 12+2 now so VERY early this time around

Rose212 · 15/08/2021 10:33

Im 14+ 2 no movement yet

overtherainbo · 15/08/2021 10:39

Baby no 3. 14+6.. no movements

CatFeb · 15/08/2021 12:38

Hi,
I haven't posted on this forum yet but have been watching for a while 🧐🤣. I am 14+5 and baby is due 8th Feb, I had my scan last Tuesday and was a week further along than I thought. I never expected to be able to see so much on the scan and was over the moon to see the baby moving and jumping round.
It is my first pregnancy and I have been worrying over everything, google has become my worst enemy. The scan provided about a day's reassurance before the worrying returned. I think I will feel much better when I can start to feel my baby moving but until then I just feel like I count down the days until my next scan. Has anyone started sleeping on their side and not their back? I don't know if it's too early to be worrying about that but I saw there is advice to not lie on your back.
I've been quite achy round my belly and I sneezed lying down the other day and the pain was excruciating. Apparently it's round ligament pain. I'm not showing very much yet.
Anyway I look forward to getting to know you all and hope everyone is okay X

With my first I think it was around 19 weeks i was really sure I felt it - kind of like a popping feeling or little flutters. This time around I’m currently 13 weeks and I thought I might have felt something a few days ago though can’t be sure. I think it’s normal to feel it earlier second time though.
Mamaux · 15/08/2021 15:34

@babyD20 Although a long time ago, I felt my first at 16 weeks. I'm now 15 + 1 and haven't felt anything. I do have an anterior placenta though which apparently makes it harder to feel. I just want to feel baby now to stop me worrying about every ache and pain x

Mamaux · 15/08/2021 15:37

@CatFeb I am continually worrying about everything. As like you, I am reassured briefly at a scan/hearing the heartbeat and then the anxiety comes back. I had a slight bleed this morning after sex and got myself into a right state. Google is my worse enemy and my partner is trying to ban ne from it (it wouldn't be a bad idea) xx

feb2022 · 15/08/2021 20:46

I've got my 12 week scan tomorrow 😊... exited but the anxiety is starting to creep in, don't think I'm going to sleep much tonight even though I'm physically and mentally exhausted 😴

StephanieJ · 15/08/2021 21:00

So I had my 12 week scan Wednesday and all was good, put me 11+2, baby was being a right little bugger and it took them ages to get proper measurements had me on my side and were pushing in quite hard to try and get baby in the position they wanted. Anyway, woke up this morning and when I went for a wee there was blood, it was kinda of like last day off period blood and none in my knickers but did seem quite heavy. This happened for about 2 hours, called triage and they said go to a&e, they didn't even see me just said that I won't be scanned on weekend and to call epu in the morning. The bleeding has now stopped when weeing and is very minimal and dark when wiping. I am getting a slight pain on right bottom side of stomach but as I already have a bump they did say previously this could be ligament pain. I'm panicking like mad and google really is my worst enemy right now! Has anyone had anything similar to this?

Sunshine8888 · 15/08/2021 22:36

@babyD20 we have the same due date, also 15 weeks today ☺️

I’ve been feeling subtle movements since around 12 weeks but this is my second baby and they def aren’t regular or anything yet. If I didn’t know what it felt like it would be easy to confuse with digestion!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 16/08/2021 07:46

@StephanieJ I haven't but just wanted to say hope everything is okay and you haven't had more bleeding since. Good luck for EPU today

babyD20 · 16/08/2021 09:06

I have my gender scan on Sunday and I'm convinced I'm having a boy. Just wondered what any of you think I might have and if you will or won't be finding out the gender of your baby 💗💙

Due February 2022 (thread 2)
feb2022 · 16/08/2021 09:10

@babyD20 ohh how cute!

I'm gonna say boy, just a guess though 😅
I'll be finding out I think I just wanna be able to explain to my boys they will be getting a brother or sister and try and get them involved as much as possible, my nearly 3 year old has already told me his baby brother is in my tummy so I'm half expecting another boy 😂 (not that I mind)

overtherainbo · 16/08/2021 11:33

I can't work the nub theory out. I've looked at mine so much I'm even more confused😂! I find out the gender next Saturday. I can't wait 🌈

overtherainbo · 16/08/2021 11:33

Also.. when will this thread max out. Is it 1000 comments? 🙈

CatFeb · 16/08/2021 11:43

@Mamaux it is reassuring to know someone else is feeling the same way. I am actually starting to limit my time spent on Google, partly because I am running out of things to Google, and I think I'm just going to try & focus on advice the NHS website gives which is actually science based. I also have my 16 week midwife apt next week and I'm going to make a list of questions and worries I have which will hopefully help. Sorry to hear about the bleeding, I hope you haven't had anymore and you're feeling okay xx

Rmw99 · 16/08/2021 11:58

Is anyone else still suffering with nausea? Im feeling down in the dumps today just feel awful. Sickness has stopped which is great but I hate thus constant hangover feeling and my mouth filling up ready to throw up. Tablets haven't worked so stuck with feeling like this, I feel bad for my daughter who has wait till I feel better to do anything 😔
