Thought I would start a second thread as our other one was full. Welcome to all the new ladies

Scan went well today. They dated me a bit further along than I’d calculated at 12 + 6 so due date now 17th Feb! Very excited to see a little baby wriggling about!

Sorry to hear about those who’ve had issues today. Fingers crossed everything is now ok but what a scare!

We also told family last week, as due to a bleed (SCH) we needed some help from the grandparents with DD. My mother has now broadcast the news to anyone who will listen 🙄

We already had the NIPT results and know that it’s a boy, so we’re keeping that news to ourselves for now.

@WinsAndNeedles that’s horrifying! How strange to bleed so much without an obvious reason. How are you feeling now? Did they tell you to do/take/avoid anything?

I had a scan on Monday due to light bleeding and asked if it could be due to a hematoma - based on what I’d read here. Nothing to be seen at the time. Went back for a follow up on Wednesday (yesterday) and the hematoma was visible.

Hope everyone who’s had a scare is doing OK.

(Been lurking a while, hello! Currently 11+4, have a DD aged 4 and lost a previous baby at 25 weeks. We know this one is a boy (NIPT done at 10 weeks), due on 28 February.)

@ButFirstTea welcome and congrats! You're close to my due date of 22nd. I've told close friends and family and will tell a few more at the weekend. Won't do an announcement on SM yet.

Hope you’re all doing well! I had a private scan at 11 weeks, went really well. I have my 12 week scan tomorrow, Friday the 13th!

I booked that private scan when I was 10 weeks because my symptoms started to drop, but since turning 12 weeks it’s come back hard. Struggling to get out of bed from the nausea. This gets easier right?!

Thank you for all the lovely comments. I've been checking constantly and I've had no further spotting. It lasted around 2 hours. I was expecting it to be the start of something more.

My anxiety is still telling me to pay for another private scan to be sure. I think if there's no real examination no one can be sure ahh!!

@WinsAndNeedles sorry to hear you went through a lot worse. There's nothing worse than bleeding when pregnant 🥺

@ArabeIIaFigg I also have has SCH in three pregnancy's. Have they told you its size and position?

Thank you for all your kind messages. All still holding on in there this morning but I'm a nervous wreck. I think not knowing the cause is the worst part because I feel pretty helpless.

I've just been told to take it really easy and no sex until at least my midterm scan. Hoping to speak to my mw over the next few days to work out what will happen next, I don't really want to wait 7w for my next scan.

We were supposed to be going on holiday today but I'm staying at home and DH will take the kids away for a few days while I get some rest but he's going to wait a day or two before they go. We've got family close by so they can look in on me while they're away.

I'm just feeling very insecure tbh. I feel like going to bed and staying there until baby arrives (fx)

Been travelling yesterday all day to see my mum and we will stay for 3 weeks :-)
Sickness was kind with me yesterday, but back with full force today :-( Ah well.

Oh gosh @WinsAndNeedles how scary. Sorry you've had to go through that. In a way it's so nice your husband and children have gone away, even though you're missing out on a holiday, just because it means you can properly rest uninterrupted. And just take care of yourself. Hope you're okay

I've spend the whole of today checking, it has just been mucus discharge now. I'm still worried with her diagnosing my 'irritated cervix' without a examination of the cervix or a scan. I am fighting with myself of paying for one. I have a private one coming up on 28th August but I'm not sure I can wait that long now

Hi ladies I am mortified I have gained a full stone 😫 i have not over indulged at all and with stopping drinking wine 3 months ago I thought I might even lose a few pounds!! I feel terrible 🙈🤢 i am hoping things might settle down ?! 🤷‍♀️

@MgW1 surely a lot of it’s water/bloat! Don’t beat yourself up. Did your boobs grow yet? I’m squishing mine every day just waiting for them to grow haha

@MgW1 I've probably put on about the same tbh I wouldn't worry, my boobs have grown into melons and I'm retaining loads of water mostly in my legs so it's probably down to that

Well not been measured recently but i do need to get some new bras , i have gone up at least 1 cup size verging on 2. I might get non - underwired ones , maybe a bit more comfy. X

@MgW1 I bet that’s the source. I’ve gained about 1 pound and am just sitting around waiting to finally have big boobs 😂

I've lost 8lbs. I think it's with the nausea. It will soon come back though no doubt 😂

My scan was ok yesterday and due date now 21/2. My last baby came a week before so a little worried this one will come on Valentine’s Day!
