Thought I'd start a new thread for us expecting March 2022!

Congratulations!!

I'm 4+2 with my first, conceived via IVF. I have endo & adeno so pretty nervous. Have told hubby & my sis so far but it's hard keeping the excitement in! It's been a long TTC journey over the last 5 years...

Important thing is your baby is fine and that they found it so they can do something about it!

@denisavn Yeah they said it will just affect me mostly if it twists a tube. Baby should be fine but I think they’re double checking with the consultant.

@xxcatcatcatxx glad baby is fine! I've heard of others have them I think it's called a fibroid? Hopefully they can sort it or it will be ok until baby arrives :)

Is it a dermoid cyst @xxcatcatcatxx? I’ve seen medical tv programmes where they’ve found them but not known anyone who had one!

I only qualified in January as a nurse so unsure if I'm going to be entitled to mat pay 😩 it's stressing me out! I'm going to have to tell my employer ASAP! X

If it's anything like my work you only get the enhanced rate of pay if you have been working for a year at the time of you legally having to tell them so 15 weeks before due date !

Hi all!! Been thinking about you all, but have had an anxious wait all week to go back for another scan to check everything is okay. I decided to avoid this forum so as not to compare myself to others because of my earlier losses I’m finding this pregnancy very hard at times and worry that everything is okay.

The scan today was wonderful! Two little heartbeats spotted on my OBGYN’s ancient machine!!! If you remember last time he couldn’t see anything in one of the sacs, but this time, both clearly visible at 7+1 🥰 happy tears were definitely shed!!

Another nervous 2 week wait until my next appointment and checkup that everything is okay! But I wanted to share my symptoms with others nervous that everything is okay. Even though I’m pregnant with twins, I don’t have crazy morning sickness. I do get tender/sore boobs and nipples, get tired and have to have a nap each afternoon, and my appetite is way off… nothing seems that appealing to me! But all in all, it hasn’t been unbearable the symptoms I’ve had. I expected to be violently ill, but I’m not (yet!) which I’m accepting and not freaking out that something is wrong.

Think about you all often and hope that everything is going well for you in your pregnancies. I know how nerve wracking these first few weeks are! X

I have to say is it just me or does there seem to be more twin pregnancies ?
There seem to be a lot on here but also I know three ladies in RL with twins and all conceived without IVF ! Am I going bonkers ?

I have to say I would love twins but DH is a twin so I have heard it skips a generation 😩

Hi, I'm 7weeks plus 3, due 8th March. Petrified even writing that. I'm so anxious at the mo I might jinx things!
I have had a complicated year with two surgeries for an ovarian tumour so have already had two early scans and they have found two heartbeats. I'm in so much shock.

Update on this mornings scan, ultrasound tech said I'm measuring 5 weeks 2 days but accordingly to ovulation date I should be 6 weeks 4 days. Have to come back in 10 days to be rescanned and hopefully we should be able to see progress...

Fairly unsettling news but just going to try and put to it back of mind. I may be out of the round this one girls..

After 8 losses I'm not hopeful in the slightest. I'm not googling as that never ends well.

Thank you so much for the lovely words! It does feel like there are a lot of twins at the moment! My specialist was saying twins come from the mothers side, so regardless of whether they run in the fathers side they’re solely determined whether the mother carries them!

I am so sorry to everyone experiencing loss. My thoughts are with you all x
