Thought I'd start a new thread for us expecting March 2022!

Congratulations!!

I'm 4+2 with my first, conceived via IVF. I have endo & adeno so pretty nervous. Have told hubby & my sis so far but it's hard keeping the excitement in! It's been a long TTC journey over the last 5 years...

Hi ladies,
I'd also like to join! I am 6+4 pregnant and I still can't get my head around it, however it was a planned pregnancy!!Only my husband and I know , who has been very supportive :) I had an eary miscarriage in March so very anxious how this is going to go..i already have my first scan and midwife appointments booked in ( I did a self-referal on the hospital's website). So far I had all sorts of symptoms - in the first few weeks I was very bloated , my boobs got absolutely huge and very sore- can't even sleep properly . Last weekend the nausea hit me and since I have been feeling very rough and trying to survive.. dread to think how long this is going to last, I have no appetite at all. I also have this long covid thing, since I had it back in December the food doesn't taste the same and coffee and onion smells absolutely disgusting!!
I am flying out on 1st August and was really hoping to get the 2nd vaccine before so i don't have to self isolate when we get back. I'll ask the midwife next weekend what she recommends. I haven't seen my family for almost a year ( they all live abroad), I don't know if I should announce my pregnancy I will be 9 weeks by then , however I might have no other option if the nausea don't go away by then.:)
Sorry for the long post, it is very exciting to talk about this with someone other than my husband;) Happy pregnancy everyone

Another sad update:

Sorry to jump on the bad news bandwagon. So the EPU said to me that all I could do now was monitor the spotting until Monday. Then they'd arrange a scan but it wouldn't happen Monday. It's a shame she wasn't more reassuring as I then felt the need to book a private scan for this afternoon.

So as I'm only just 6+3 they couldn't see anything but the sonographer said there was indication of a suspected ectopic pregnancy. So they got an ambulance to come pick me up and take me to the nearest a&e which is where we are now. I would say I'm bleeding rather than spotting now which isn't filling me with hope. But at least I'm being looked at and obviously my instincts were spot on booking the private scan. It may not have given reassurance but it's been money well spent. I'd much rather have my health and lady bits be okay and if we have a pregnancy still that's a bonus. I'll update when we know more.

@Maui69 I think will phone this week and hopefully get a first appointment with the midwife, just makes it all seem real doesn't it. I am not sure how it will be going from 1 to 2 but I have read a lot of people say it's a bigger change going from 0 to 1 so hopefully it won't be too bad, if the baby is due March and he will be starting School in the August so means I get to be off for his first year of school. How do you feel about it? I think 4 years is an okay age gap, not too big and not too small xxx

I have had a small amount of bleeding this evening and quite a lot of cramping so really pleased I have the scan booked tomorrow

Hi everyone, tentatively marking my place if that's okay.

I had the implant out first week in June, first day of my last period was 24th of June so dating by that would be 3+2 however I had a positive test at exactly 3 weeks which I didn't think was possible so who knows! I know I have a short cycle, or at least I used to, at around 21/22 days so I guess I won't know for sure until a scan. I have an early scan booked for August when I'll be 7 weeks to put our mind at rest that everything is okay.

@Bella1329 definitely sounds like we will have a very similar due date.

I had the same with my first I tested positive around 3 weeks but at my 12 week scan they changed by 8 days so I was about a week further than expected.

Ah that's reassuring. I honestly have no idea what is going on with my body haha! I feel fine at the moment aside from getting a few cramps but that's about it at the minute. How're you?

@Bella1329 I feel bloated or gas like a rumbling tummy. I had that with my first but I also have IBS so with my first I was in awful pain for about 3 weeks then it all settled. I'm hoping the same doesn't happen and it just stays how it is.

I've realised I may actually be due end of February... Now I'm feeling like an imposter in this thread! You're not getting rid of me until I know for sure! I have my midwife appointment next week. Do you think my husband can come too? I'm really excited. I spoke to the midwife on the phone and she was really nice so looking to meeting her.

I'm 6 weeks (plus or minus a day or 2).Got my bloods booked on the App for the 31st of July through my notes and a scan through the post for the 16th of August. I didn't get the text either but I imagine you'd get that closer to the day.

Currently waiting for my next blood draw...at this time! my poor veins are shot lol
