Thought I'd start a new thread for us expecting March 2022!

Congratulations!!

I'm 4+2 with my first, conceived via IVF. I have endo & adeno so pretty nervous. Have told hubby & my sis so far but it's hard keeping the excitement in! It's been a long TTC journey over the last 5 years...

Hope everyone is feeling well in these early days xx

Sending lots of calm, non-nauseous vibes to all of you! I was super crampy in the early stages of both my previous pregnancy and this one. Constantly dashing to the loo to check knickers.

All those posts saying, "mild cramping" in early pregnancy are clearly wrong - mine were never mild!

Lya4 · 27/06/2021 14:25

@Fizzyfluff

Hi Ladies, looks like I’m joining this club with a Edd of 7th March. Little unplanned as hubby is booked in for the snip!

This will be our 4th, we have 3 girls all ready, 15, 7 and 21months.

Feeling a little sick, either shock or hormones!

I'm expecting my fourth too after 3 boys (13,11 & 6)!

I'm due 8 March I think (I have longer cycles at 33 days)

I'm feeling fine so far, just quite crampy and very bloated. It's the hay fever that's making me feel worse and nothing I can take for it 😩

Ofpalestsilver · 27/06/2021 21:48

@Lya4 What a pain with the hay fever. I'm feeling glad that I'm not as bothered by that this year.

I'm so flipping tired. I took TWO hour long naps today. I've been off on holiday this week but back to work tomorrow. That won't be fun (my work is super hectic) but hopefully it'll make time go faster.

5 weeks tomorrow. Wow. I am excited but also super super cautious at the same time. Just need to get through the next seven weeks.

feelsnew · 27/06/2021 22:52

Hi, massive congratulations to you all.

I’m expecting my second with an EDD 1 March. Still very early days but am excited. We move house in 2wks and my DS1 turns 3 in a month. We weren’t officially going to try (ie doing opks, bbt etc) till we moved but I had been monitoring my cycles since removing the coil end of Feb.

I intend to book an early scan but best time looks like it falls the week before or week of DS’ birthday week and I don’t want any news to affect my mood for celebrating for him. Not sure if I should just wait for the NHS scan then.

Also, I’m due my second Pfizer jab before end of 1st tri. Do you all intend to delay this till perhaps 2nd tri?

BeginnerMummyxx · 27/06/2021 23:07

Hey guys!! I'm currently 4 weeks and found out super early at 3 weeks 3 days. I had a miscarriage earlier this year so a bit cautious and to be honest it doesn't feel real!

So far it hadn't been too bad until I woke up this morning feeling unwell. I've had a headache pretty much all day, fatigued (but having trouble sleeping), gassy and I have bad heartburn. Boobs aren't particularly sore, just a little tender.

I'm booked in fort jab tomorrow but I decided that I'm going to delay it until after 12 weeks because I'm just unsure.

Xx

KayL1988 · 28/06/2021 08:11

Oh yayyy a thread I can join to check I'm not going mad!

Tested positive last week and today I'm 4+1 with our first. Super early so fingers and toes crossed.

I'm tired.... but I think that's more lack of caffeine. Is anyone else ridiculously thirsty?? I can't stop drinking water... it's all I can think about 😂

Lilypad121 · 28/06/2021 08:19

Hi all, jumping on here too as I'm 4+3 with our first and due around early March. It's been a long journey for us, we've been TTC for almost 5 years with never a hint of a positive test! We were told it would be highly unlikely to ever conceive naturally due to immune issues with me and we were just at the stage of planning IVF with steroids later this Summer. My period was a few days late, did a test yesterday and sure enough its positive! We're both in total shock and terrified something will go wrong but fingers crossed it'll be OK!

Congrats to you all! Smile

CurlyNo2 · 28/06/2021 08:23

Hi all

Found out I was pregnant yesterday after 15 months of TTC my 2nd (my son is now 5), as I'm 37 I was ready to give up hope.

Think I'm due 7 March but obviously could change. I'm feeling so tired, crampy, backache, and could not sleep last night. I don't remember any of this with my son.

Just enquired about booking an early reassurance scan at my local clinic for peace of mind.

ContadoraExplorer · 28/06/2021 08:45

Can I join in? Really early at 3+6 with second. Had a chemical back in October so quite nervous at the moment but I've got further so far and definitely feeling pregnant - so nauseous and exhausted right now and the heat isn't helping as I am not sleeping well at all.

extrababydust123 · 28/06/2021 08:54

Hi guys!

I’m currently 4+6 with my first, super exciting but very cautious having read lots of scary threads on here ☹️

I am hoping all is well though and have an early scan booked for 10th July. Got my first dye stealer on a frer today and 3+ weeks on a clear blue digital so hopefully things are progressing as they should. Not many symptoms to report apart from sore boobs/nipples, increased toilet trips and a heightened sense of smell (OH’s usual chicken at lunch is making me gag every day 😂)

firsttimemummy321 · 28/06/2021 09:01

Can I join?

Congratulations everyone!

Had my faint positive today at 10dpo, nervous after lots of early losses but hoping this one sticks. Will be number 2 :)

CurlyNo2 · 28/06/2021 09:44

Can I ask what a dye stealer is?

CurlyNo2 · 28/06/2021 09:45

Is this one? This was my test yesterday. I have a clearblue with weeks on coming today. Despite going through this all before with my son. Everything feels so new again.

Due March 2022
Shortmamashortcycles · 28/06/2021 10:10

@CurlyNo2, I didn't know what a dye-stealer was either until the other day! It's just when your HCG is so high that all the dye in the test is sucked onto the "pregnancy" line and the control line is really faint or invisible. But it's not something to stress over if you don't get one because HCG is so variable between women.

Shortmamashortcycles · 28/06/2021 10:11

@CurlyNo2, and yes, your FRER looks like one to me! I was considering doing another pg test at about 5 weeks just to see if I get one, but not sure if it'll make me anxious if I don't!

firsttimemummy321 · 28/06/2021 10:26

@CurlyNo2 yes it's where the test line is darker than the control line

TTCSOLO · 28/06/2021 10:27

Can I join? I'm 4 weeks today, after second cycle of IUI with a donor as I'm single. I think my EDD is 7th March and I have a scan on July 21st with my fertility clinic, so just keeping everything crossed until then. Best of luck to everyone

firsttimemummy321 · 28/06/2021 10:28

My super faint line that I've got super excited about far too soon 😬

Due March 2022
CurlyNo2 · 28/06/2021 10:29

Thanks ladies, you learn something new every day! Grin

AtomicSquash · 28/06/2021 10:50

So lovely seeing all these positives! Congratulations everybody. I am really struggling with time dragging today. Its just so exciting but I want things to be happening now! Booked my booking appointment with the midwife today for a couple of weeks time, so that's something to look forward to.

Lya4 · 28/06/2021 10:55

Eek it's all so exciting isn't it, even though I've been here 5 times before (4 kids, 1 loss) I feel like a new mother again!

I wasn't sure at 36 I'd have another one and it took a few years to persuade hubby anyway.

My symptoms all seem to have cleared up today. The last time that happened it ended in a non-viable pregnancy so I got nervous and took another FRER this morning (3+6) which showed a line darker than any I've had before. So that's quite reassuring!

When do you plan to go to the doctors and register for midwife etc? It was over six years ago for me last and I can't remember when is the right time to go

YorkshireSunshine · 28/06/2021 11:15

Hi everyone,

Hope it’s ok if I join Smile I believe I’m 5+1 with my first - my last cycle was all over the place though so not 100%!

CurlyNo2 · 28/06/2021 11:18

@Lya4 I registered for my booking appointment last night via My Pregnancy Notes webpage. This is a national site that asks you questions, sends the notes to the hospital you choose and a midwife gets in touch to arrange your appointment
I would recommend it.

Shortmamashortcycles · 28/06/2021 11:30

@Lya4, I'm the same - feeling nauseous and tired the last few days and feeling much better today. Even though I've literally reassured other people on here that it's normal to feel normal at this stage, I've been panicking a bit! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

On the other hand, I'm starving and it's only 2 hours since breakfast so pretty sure something's going on... 🤞🤞🤞

ContadoraExplorer · 28/06/2021 11:35

@lya4 I think we have the same EDD. I called to book in last week and got given dates mid August for midwife and end of August for scan. My symptoms definitely come and go, I felt OK yesterday but this morning I feel so sick. Exhaustion is pretty much consistent though (but I don't know how much of that is pregnancy vs toddler life vs the heat)
