Just been for my 28 week check, she's growing well and bump is the right size, heartbeat etc all fine. Weird to think next time I see the midwife i will be post 30 weeks!!

3rd trimester... ahhh! As the midwife said to me "you'll be in single figures soon!"

@Kirky658 glad all is well! And I know - mine was like "see you at 34 weeks!" and I thought oh god, that's a bit serious then! ;-)

29 weeks here and still not feeling distinctly ready!!

@Kirky658 if it helps, my midwife said she was basically in denial/didn’t feel ready for her whole last pregnancy. Then her waters went and she burst into tears saying “i don’t want to go into labour! I’m not ready to have a baby!” I felt a bit reassured that we all have the same wobbles... even those that work with mums and babies! 🤣🤣

I can't believe we've reached the 3rd trimester! Absolutely petrified here! 😱

Afternoon all. Saw midwife earlier. All good, baby good size and on track for 30+4. Urine clear but would be after all the penicillin I've been on!

She updated my notes about the ELCS request so just need to make sure consultant sees me next week and not just registrar...otherwise I have to get them to get consultant to speak to me.

I've definitely got third trimester tiredness. Everything is such hard work zzzz

It's all getting a bit serious now and I definitely don't feel ready! Panic cot shopping as we speak 😅

@sillybry that's actually very reassuring 🤣 i just can't seem to compute that in 12 weeks I'll have a baby girl... So ready yet so un ready as well!
@Noodles4Me glad your urine is clear now, must be a relief!

26 weeks today, and I agree it's going so fast!
Sick as a dog today, which is outrageous 🤢 I thought I'd be well past the nausea by now.

Had 28 week growth scan today and consultant (s) appointment.

Appointment was 10.40, by the time we had the scan, I saw the midwife for general readings, consultant and midwife and then diabetic midwife and consultant and picked up two prescriptions from hospital pharmacy we were there 3 hours!

I'm exhausted.

However little boy is perfect, weights approx 2lb 9oz measuring on 50th centile. Cord pressure and flow is good, fluid around baby is ok. He was curled up on one side with arms and legs over his head with just his boy bits dangling 🙈

Also my low placenta has moved up.

So tiring but successful trip.

Hope everyone else with growth scans this week goes ok. Take snacks!

@Bubbles1st fantastic news - apart from how long it took! Great that your placenta has moved and he's growing well.
Typical boy letting all his bits flop out! LOL!

@bubbles1st ahhhh that is great news, glad he's looking good! Sounds like a right chilled monkey!

Our little girl was making the student midwife chuckle this morning as she was checking her heartbeat she kept kicking 😂

@SillyBry yes I'm so relieved, been worrying that the GD could have been Going on for weeks and growth concerns might have already started so feeling much better and motivated to eat well.

That exciting @Bubbles1st so please your had a good result, relax now with your feet up. How many more growth scans will you need before due date now?

2 more. 32 and 36 weeks.

The sonographer was so lovely, the nicest we have seen and he made it really special and not mundane.
