Hi Ladies, I've been getting impatient lately as my energy has dropped and I'm huge! Baby is measuring ahead and I have extra amniotic fluid around the baby. They are talking about induction so I guess its nearly time for me...

Anybody else? X

I’ve just basically resigned myself to getting induced next Monday. I just feel too “normal”. Only thing is now if I press the top of my bump I can feel the baby push against my cervix, which is new. I might have been gently bouncing him from time to time, haha poor lad.

Oh I know I commend you women who already have children to look after as well as being this tired!! I can barely be bothered to look after myself at times hahaha. I've been doing lots of walking and doesn't seem to be helping at all. @Vie8126 I'm the same in terms of not being able to stay out long though! My hips start aching and pelvic pressure stops this. @BlackberrySt aww thats funny, maybe try pushing abit harder he might pop out 😂
I have a sweep booked for Saturday now when I'll be exactly 40 weeks, they've said they will give it 48 hours to see if it works and then if not ill be given an induction date, but they've told me they don't allow women to go over by 1 week. Must just be in my area? I'm praying things can happen naturally before then, I would much prefer that!!

Hello! Super tired today as baby was having a kick fest until about 2am. He was moving so much I was getting worried! Usually I worry when he’s quiet haha. But met up with a friend for a little walk this morning so that cheered me up. Trying not to snooze this afternoon so I fall asleep immediately tonight. That should work right?

I have a sweep tomorrow morning, if it doesn’t work I reckon I’ll just end up being induced on Monday. Does mean the end is in sight hooray!

Aw yeah the end is in sight (at last!) 😊 but I bet Monday feels ages away still?

Hopefully you will fall asleep tonight 🤞🏻 it's horrible when you don't sleep properly when you're pregnant isn't it. Although good preparation for a new born I bet 🤣 I keep waking through the night with itchy midge bites I seem to be reacting quite badly to them this year 😩

My waters broke this morning, I've been to hospital to get checked over, they are happy for me to wait at home to see if contractions start on their own. But I'm booked in for tomorrow morning at 8am to be induced if nothing by then!! Please can you all pray it starts to happen naturally before then haha, I'd rather not be induced. But by god the water just won't stop coming away, it was a huge gush earlier but now its just trickling every time I stand up x

Thanks ladies @Ctvyh7h7 and @BlackberrySt! I had literally just woke up, I stood up out of bed and it was just a huge gush. Thankfully haha, I think I've been lucky. I can't imagine it happening when I was out somewhere! I hope your Sweep works tomorrow though!!

@BlackberrySt hmm yeah I think I am getting some now, they're coming maybe every 6 mins, but there not very painful really so don't think I will ring until there bad?

6 mins seems quite frequent? Will you call them when it gets to 4-5mins? Wow exciting. Glad it’s not too sore yet. My friend had really mild contractions to begin with, she didn’t know she was in labour!

After moaning that nothing is happening, just been to the loo and there was some mucus with a little blood mixed in. I’m hoping this is the start as well! No pains but man I was pleased to see it hehe. It’s only a small amount.

Right ladies tell me your secrets what are you doing to bring the labour on?!? 🤣 I actually cried this afternoon and I never cry! (Blaming the hormones)

Haha @Ctvyh7h7 I’m not in labour yet 🙂but hopefully it’s not a false start. The only different thing today was having a laugh with my friend... You could try watching a comedy film if you don’t have a funny friend available. Might help with the pregnancy hormones too? No promises it’ll work though!

Hello! update from me - have been having contractions since last night. 2am-4am they were 6mins apart. But then they went back to 15mins. Still mildish ones atm. I have my 41wk midwife appointment this morning at 9am so will go to that and see what the deal is.

Thinking of those of you in early labour how exciting!!! I'm also super jealous had tightenings last night every 8 minutes and pressure then it stopped after a few hours. Sweep Tuesday which seems ages away right now. Going to take the dog round the park before it gets too hot and hope that can kick start something at least!!

Not sure if it’s a sign that things will happen soon but got a stinking cold today & very pissed off with everything and anything. Really fed up now, one minute I’m crying the next I’m really angry, just want done with the pregnancy now! Xx

I had her yesterday for anyone wondering. 8.43 in morning weighing 7lb 5oz & omg ouch!! You ladies who have already had kids did not warn me of this! All I can say to yous still waiting is defo rest as much as you can because you will need all that energy, it is so tiring! Thankyou to everyone asking about me :) has anyone else progressed? It is the best feeling ever seeing your baby after the birth though!! I'm so proud x

This is my third so I imagine he will slip right out 🥴🤣
I tried an acupressure point last night, now stuck on the toilet 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ Whether it’s a sign or just my bowels being dodgy who knows😂 xx
