Welcome @fleur89 Smile. Wow, that’s great that you get those early scans, I bet it certainly puts your mind at rest. I sympathise with you being so far away from home especially in the current climate.. but hopefully this forum will help to get things off your chest, it has definitely helped me!

@Trinacham I've just recovered from such an awful cold!! It really threw me and made my pregnancy anxiety even worse cos I felt so rubbish. Get some lemon and honey down you! Feel better soon x

@WinsAndNeedles ooh that's my due date too! Wouldn't it be fab if it came on that day! Such an awesome date of birth right!
@fleur89 how wonderful you heard the heartbeat! Mines an ivf pregnancy so I'll get a viability scan next week at 8 weeks, can't wait!
@sam433 have you tried ginger shots? They've been a lifesaver for me!

My nausea is just getting worse and worse every day. I could barely get off the settee yesterday and cleaning my teeth is making me throw up, which is helpful when you need to clean your teeth after you're sick! Finding eating salty foods helps a bit, I'm getting through shed loads of salt and vinegar crisps.

Still waiting to hear from the community midwife for my booking appointment. I just want to get it done now!

@becarefuloutthere I would absolutely love it to be born on that date but I've got no hope, I had my first at 36w and second at 38w. I'm diabetic so they won't let me go any further than 38.

LKB89 · 07/07/2021 13:57

I kinda want some sickness, would take it from ya if I could!
I barely feel pregnant so I'm pretty worried, along with this brown discharge spotting I have, yes still have it 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Sorry to all those feeling poorly ❤️

coffeewithmilk · 07/07/2021 16:06

I'm just coming up to 10 weeks and thankfully the worst of the nausea seems to have gone.
I found sucking on a lemon really helped. I know that's weird but I read it online and gave it a go!

Hey ladies and babies!
Sorry been very absent I have honestly never felt so sick in my life and I'm just exhausted allll the time! I'm 100% sure I wasn't this sick with my first 2 🤢🤢
I'll try and catch up on the thread
I hope everyone is ok xx

Elle83 · 07/07/2021 18:48

Relate to being unnerved by not feeing symptoms. But a couple days ago I got hit with a wave of nausea. It passed pretty quick and since then I keep thinking how maybe I’m just really lucky not to have it.

Mummysausage36 · 07/07/2021 19:25

Hi all, it was bad news for me today. I already knew the outcome in my heart but now I know for sure I can get myself healthy and try again I wish you all happy healthy pregnancies xx

pusscous · 08/07/2021 06:19

I have my second vaccine appointment tomorrow, would you go? It was booked long before I knew I was pregnant

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 08/07/2021 07:46

@pusscous how far along are you? I want my vaccine, I spoke to my midwife last week and she said she thinks it's important to get because of the risks of coronavirus in pregnancy. She said it's allowed in any trimester, but suggested I wait til week 13 as much of the development is done by then

Peachi82 · 08/07/2021 07:59

I am so sorry, mummysausage! Be gentle with yourself!

Vaccine: I have mine tomorrow and I will be going. It's also the second. With delta running rampant here, delaying it would be the wrong decision I think. I already have a child and making sure that I don't die of Covid has a higher priority than the embryo :-( Sounds harsh, I know.

choccrumpet · 08/07/2021 08:39

@Mummysausage36 I'm so so sorry, look after yourself ❤️

@pusscous I agree with what the other posters have said, covid is dangerous especially during pregnancy so I would be getting it. Currently waiting for my appointment to come through and expect it to be in my first trimester.
