I've booked a private scan for when I'm just over 8 weeks. But I think time has stopped. Feel like the next 2 weeks will go on forever!!

@overtherainbo don't panic. I used to get pink jelly often with my last pregnancy when I had a haemorrage too and all worked out well so just hang in there :)

@Lcj80 I bet you feel so much more relieved now, just hope your bleeding stops now, can't be nice to feel and see that all the time but try and not be too stressed now after such a successful scan ❤️

Last 2 days I’ve had achy pain down below, something I probably experimented the 3rd trimester with my previous pregnancy. I think it’s just everything stretching etc but it’s quite uncomfortable to walk ☹️ I have heard everything happens sooner due to memory.. 🤷‍♀️

Tender boobs, exhaustion and nausea are all still very much a problem 🙈

Sorry I kind of fell off this thread a bit! I'm now 9 weeks and nausea suddenly feels much better today.... Anyone else experienced this? I've been vomiting earlier in the week so it was at its worst only a few days ago!

Morning. Ten weeks tomorrow... still tired and sore boobs but sickness gone. Just wish I had some energy.
I had my booking appointment yesterday was lovely to talk through everything. Hope anyone with bleeding is doing well xx

@LKB89 @vmfwh thank you both. I have my booking in appointment with my midwife today then a scan on Sunday morning at my hospital. No further spotting but definitely cramping and backache. I'm 8 weeks tomorrow 🤞🏼🌈

Hi everybody, it's been two weeks since I was prescribed aspirin & progesterone, and I've not been able to keep food down since being on this medication.

Is this much vomiting normal or is it the medications?

Midwife called to cancel my booking appointment. She said she would rather wait for the scan results to see where we go next??

Well the spotting has returned today, still brownish discharge looking, only when I wipe really, not much significant in knickers, also cramping nothing major tho just here and there.

OHs birthday today and we are currently on our way down to London for the weekend 😥

I've got a rotten cold this week and don't feel pregnant anymore I'm 9w3d. Could this be just because I'm more focussed on my cold symptoms? Have had my scan date through and just not feeling confident

@LKB89 I had more brown spotting today too. I've been getting it 3 weeks now, on and off! And in between I had an early scan, where everything was fine. It seems totally normal for so many. Try not to worry and enjoy your weekend x

@LKB89 noticed that your quite a bit behind me. My brown spotting started at 6 weeks, so at a similar time to where you are now. It progressed to red bleeding and cramping one evening and I thought it was over. I'm now 9 weeks. Scan was at 8 weeks and everything looked fine, and baby had a heartbeat. I hope that offers you some reassurance. I know I've got a way to go, but after seeing my baby's heartbeat after having that bleeding and cramping, I try not to worry so much about the brown spotting. So many people have it x

It seems like so many of us are experiencing spotting or brown discharge.

I’ve had my very light brown discharge for 3 days now and despite using pantyliners there is never anything on them. I’ve also noticed my symptoms pick up and drop off, but I think that’s fairly common.

I had a internal scan on Monday before the discharge started and all was great with a heartbeat and everything. I’ve only had it since so I’m thinking I may have been irritated from the scan or it’s just how it goes. But from what I know, and from what I’ve heard from friends who have had period like bleeding and intense cramping, it is normal and many continue with a successful pregnancy.

Hope everyone’s scans go well. My next one is Thursday to double check everything 🙏🏼🙌🏻🤞

Due 26th Feb, currently 5+5. Been referred to a & e today as having severe cramping for several days but no spotting or bleeding. Now got to wait for a scan on Monday, longest weekend ever. Has anyone else had this type of cramping? It's like really bad period pain but pretty much continuous? Xx

Hi @KM11 we have the same due date. Also 5+5.

I went to A&E last Sunday at 5+0 with cramping pain and brown discharge (seems I’m not alone with that!). I’ve had a ruptured ectopic before so I got sent to early pregnancy where they saw a sac in the right place. Have another scan next Monday.

The intermittent brown discharge is really getting me. This is my fourth pregnancy and I only ever had this with the ectopic - with a miscarriage and DS I had nothing. Anxious as to what it all means!

@KM11 I had this type of cramping between 5-7 weeks. They told me it was everything stretching. Scans were all fine. I'm now 9+1 and still get it the odd time but not as bad xx

Has anyone ever had experience with early scans being quite considerably early than what they are? Had myself at 7 weeks from LMP however scan showed between 4-5 weeks, would have possibly been 5 weeks from ovulation but definitely couldn’t have been 3 weeks out?

My last pregnancy was dated a week behind. Unfortunately the scan two weeks later showed that the baby had stopped developing even after seeing a heartbeat on the first scan. Brutal.

Lots of women report that their babies caught up by the second scan so it's really a case of excruciating waiting.

Has anyone's sickness stopped and they've been fine? I'm 8+3 by LMP but 7+2 by scan and since Thursday my sickness has eased off. I've had constant cramping since then too 😢😭 I seen heartbeat on Tuesday so I'm even more worried now somethings gone wrong!

The cramping is very mild and if I don't think about it I don't even know it's there. No bleeding but I'm so worried that my sickness has gone ?

I think it's all over for me sadly. I have started to get Brown discharge and bits of red when I wipe I've also got quite bad pain in my lower back and stomach cramp I've put a pad on to keep an eye on it. I've never had anything like this in my previous pregnancies this is my 4th im heartbroken.

@chelsea93lucas I wouldn’t worry too much about your symptoms, they will fluctuate. I had a awful weekend last week as I was sure something was off because I wasn’t feeling half as bad as I had previously. But the early scan on that Monday went well so I didn’t need to worry.
Cramping is also fairly normal, especially mild as everything is stretching and growing.

@Mummysausage36 I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Try and stay positive though. Brown discharge and even light bleeding doesn’t necessarily mean the worst. Certainly keep an eye on it but perhaps call 111 and see if you can speak to a doctor x
