I've just came back from monitoring, baby happy as Larry in there, had the sweep ( never had one before ) it wasn't as bad as I imagined just praying it works! I'm 3cm already she said which surprised me x

@Coffeeandcaramel glad all was okay and 3cm wowser that's amazing nearly half way there. Hopefully this will get you moving today also!

A baby girl arrived yesterday morning - my cs went well and recovery is much better than my last (also planned) trying to find a name - we hv a list but no name appeals to both of us.

Congratulations to all the mums and fingers crossed for all of you still expecting to welcome your bundles of joy. Xx

Baby girl 3.3kg so in line with Friday’s scan of 3.46kg.

The hospital rang earlier and said to call in at 8.30 and that if there was enough room I can go in ASAP. They have booked me in formally for Sunday so if all else fails it’ll definitely be happening then.

I have a feeling I might go in to labour before Sunday! So in a way wouldn’t be a bad thing if they can’t fit me in tonight. I’ll keep you updated. Going to tell DH he needs to have sex with me and have a good bounce on my birthing ball and see if that helps

@CoffeeAndCaramel glad your sweep was ok and 3cm is great, hopefully that means it’ll happen very soon! X

And @sakura1982 I’m sure we can help you with names or you could start a thread! X

Congrats to the new babies hope the new mums are recovering and feeling well 🥰

Had intense period pains last night and strong BH every 10 mins we was going out to dinner so toyed with idea to cancel but we went in the end anyway (decided if it was labour I would need to eat!) just as well really as stopped around 10pm. Had the worst night's sleep so far the heat the uncomfortableness. Still have period style cramps under bump assuming things are moving in the right direction so will see what midwife says when she does 2nd sweep Tuesday. Failing that 8 days to induction now. The end is in sight!!!

My baby boy was born just before 6am this morning. Had contractions throughout the day yesterday and last night. Thought they were Braxton Hicks but they got unbearable. Went to the hospital and I was 6cm dilated! Straightforward birth. Hoping to go home in a few hours.

Seems like a few of you are getting really close. Can't wait for the updates😊

I've now had the official go ahead for my home birth and am securing a last minute birth pool so it seems to be coming together nicely. I just need the baby to get a love on now.

9lb Baby boy born this morning at 6.45am. Went into labour naturally at around two but started getting painful at about 4. Got to hospital at 4.45 and had a quick birth, but not in the pool as they wouldn’t let me because of risk of pph.

Luckily that was the right decision, I’ve lost so much blood! Am on the mend though and staying in overnight.

Hoping those that are still pregnant pop soon!

We think about Juliet or Juliette, and other names- big discussion with DH.

Dh and I still can't agree on a boys name, I'm keeping quiet about it though and if this baby is a boy I'll just put forward my favourite name as a done deal and hope DH doesn't argue too much.

@Foxglovesandlilacs86 congratulations to both of you!! How wonderful. Must be something in the air as my baby also arrived this morning!!! The sweep obviously worked and I have an 8 pound 9 little bruiser in my arms as we speak 💙

Thinking and hoping my waters have broken so at hospital to confirm. Too early to know but I’m hoping this is the start of it and my little boy isn’t too far away from being with me. So delighted to hear of more babies being born 💕
