May babies - anyone else due soon?

Hi ladies, I’m due on the 20th but think I will be early. How is everyone doing?

Bit frustrated. Hardly any contractions now (although when I do have the odd one it's pretty strong). Going for a pcr tomorrow in preparation for induction on Saturday.

Congratulations everyone who's had their babies this month already 💗💚 I am currently 40+5, had a sweep today, got another sweep Sunday if this one dosent work. Induction booked for next Wednesday if not! Baby #4 and shes being a bugger.

I'm so fed up today, only 39+3 and FTM so I don't know what I expected but I'm just ready to have this baby and I wish they'd comply 😂

Congratulations to everyone who've already had their babies, I'm not at all jealous I'm 40+2 and in the bath at midnight because I couldn't handle the 2 hours of lightning crotch and break dancing that has become a nightly routine I can't wait to have this baby but think it'll be a while yet!

So it’s finally my time to share the news! Baby boy arrived today at 7:07am! A whole week and one day over his due date. 48hrs of labour, only had gas and air but then it took a turn... won’t go into too much detail but baby is safe, I just need to be kept in and monitored as I lost a lot of blood. But my beautiful baby is finally here 😍

Congratulations to all those who have had a lovely baby.

Feeling quite down. Went for my 40 week appointment midwife did an external and couldn't feel babies head she tried to do a sweep but couldn't.

Sent for a scan as she was a bit concerned about position and basically baby is breech.

Going in tomorrow to see if he can be turned then c section if not. I feel just a bit deflated.

Also felt backed into a corner by registrar who wanted to book the c section there and then.

You're not being silly @thefishthatcouldwish, you need time to think and process it. No advice as such because I haven't been through that, but it's normal to be disappointed if things don't go to plan. Don't be hard on yourself.

I came in for our planned induction this morning at 10, having been up all night with contractions too far apart to go to hospital, and too close together to sleep. Midwife took one look and cancelled the induction. 3cm at 12 o'clock, 7cm at 4pm, waters broke at 5 ish and all done by 5.50! Midwives nearly dropped her she shot out so fast! Baby Noa, no weight yet, but she's perfect. I'm all stitched up and will be making no more grandchildren!

It’s due date for me today and despite promising myself I wouldn’t be fixated on that date I’m feeling deflated this morning to wake up with no baby and no signs of impending labour. Why do we do this to ourselves when we know due dates are a myth? 😔

So today went to try and get baby to turn. Unfortunately not happening. Was quite painful. Try again Tuesday .

If it works then induction if not c section.

Feel a bit deflated. Also so hot today!

@thefishthatcouldwish I did the positive birth company course and she recommends trying these exercises to turn baby (you have nothing to lose by trying!) Good luck

My baby girl was born at 4:28am this morning! A day before induction so I'm happy! My mum had to deliver her on the bathroom floor because she came too quick midwifes didn't get there in time ( was a planned home birth ).. a whopping 9lb 11 & 1/2 oz! My biggest baby yet xx
