I don't dare say it out loud yet or celebrate or get excited or anything but I'm 4 weeks pregnant today.

Anyone else out there just had a positive test result and want to keep me company?

Me!! I'm 4 weeks tomorrow and I want to tell everyone and no one at the same time!

How are you feeling @tigertummy?

PoloRolo · 11/02/2021 10:10

Hi!!! Can I join! I think I’m 4 weeks (it’s a bit stressful as I don’t know for sure) I took a test yesterday just randomly and it came back really faint positive and then took like 5 different brands this morning and it is very much there 🤣 I’m unsure exactly how many weeks as I’ve not yet had a period since coming off of the pill in December (only withdrawal bleed at beginning of Jan) but my CB digital says 1-2 weeks which it says translates to 3-4.. so here I am! In disbelief but v excited.. haven’t even told my Partner yet!!

tigertummy · 11/02/2021 10:19

Congratulations both of you!!

@BelleBeau I'm exactly the same. Feeling ok so far but reading into every little twinge! How are you feeling?

@PoloRolo How exciting! I know what you mean about disbelief! The tests say positive but it doesn't feel real just yet.

OP posts:
PoloRolo · 11/02/2021 10:32

Thank you! Congratulations to you both too!!

@tigertummy I definitely understand the reading in to every twinge.. I didn’t have a clue two days ago and would have thought it was just my normal self, now absolutely anything I’m like I hope it’s all okay! The time between now and the first scan feels miles away

BelleBeau · 11/02/2021 10:48

Eeep!! Congratulations both of you @tigertummy & @PoloRolo! It's so exciting but I'm nervous as we've been trying for a while now so keeping everything crossed!

I'm feeling good at the moment, just had to do another digital test as I just can't quite believe it yet, but it's confirmed again 1-2 weeks!

Sunflowerx · 11/02/2021 10:48

Congratulations!

I found out at 3+4 and I'm 6 weeks tomorrow, it's a crazy time!! X

tigertummy · 11/02/2021 13:09

@PoloRolo it really does feel like forever until first scans! @BelleBeau we've been trying for a while as well so I know exactly what you mean. I feel so worried about everything. I might have to test again for my sanity (or insanity)

Congratulations @Sunflowerx

BelleBeau · 11/02/2021 13:27

Congrats @Sunflowerx! Is it your first? When's your first conversation with the midwife?

No glass of wine to calm the nerves either @tigertummy haha!

@PoloRolo try a clearblue digital, they take an agonisingly long time to show your result, but if you're past the date AF was due, they are pretty accurate :) and it's nice to see how long on the screen!

Fawn68 · 11/02/2021 13:39

@tigertummy congratulations!! I am 4+1 today. Have had 2 MC most recent one in November. Fingers crossed everything works out Smile

AmyTTC · 11/02/2021 13:44

I'm another 4 weeker here! GrinDaffodilx

tigertummy · 11/02/2021 19:45

Hi everyone!

It's nice to have some people to pretend to stay calm with!

Congratulations to all of us!

@Fawn68 fingers crossed xx

Hey ladies! Anyone having mild cramps at all? I started having mild cramps yesterday and today again. I'm 4+4 today, and have had 2 previous MC so that's why the anxiety x

tigertummy · 13/02/2021 19:53

@Fawn68 not cramps exactly but definite weird muscle things happening. How are you feeling now?

OP posts:
BelleBeau · 13/02/2021 20:42

@Fawn68 and @tigertummy I've been the same, I wouldn't say painful like cramps, but a definite strange sensation that feels a bit like light period pains.

Are you guys having any other symptoms?

Fawn68 · 13/02/2021 20:46

Yes feeling ok now! They just come and go, they just feel like very mild af cramps. Been feeling quite nauseous a few times today but then it passes, and the tiredness is real, a bit bloated and just very sensitive. Nipples. But I'm also on progesterone so I think that can make you feel more sleepy too.

How about you?

tomahto · 13/02/2021 20:54

I'm also at four weeks! It still feels very unreal as we just found out two days ago. Do we just have to call our GP now and they will arrange all the necessary appointments?

tigertummy · 14/02/2021 09:30

@BelleBeau I just seem to be completely exhausted all the time!

Congratulations @tomahto I'm going to ring my GP tomorrow and see what they say.

Hello 👋🏼 I'd love to join in too 😊

We got our BFP on the 10th at 10DPO and today marks exactly 4 weeks!

I've had mild cramps this week too which worried me after EMC last month but it also didn't feel the same as was very painful in Jan. I'm trying my best not to worry but it's hard when so concious of anything going on with my body!

Has anyone else been crazy tired but then waking up really early too?

Counting my last AF as 17th Jan making us (by my calc) due 24th October. When do you all calculate yours to be? We will all be very close 😁

X

Fawn68 · 14/02/2021 09:55

Congratulations everyone Smile

I am 4+5 today, last period 13th Jan and due date 18th Oct I think!

The cramps do seem to be very normal, I have one child who is 2 and I do remember cramps with him when I think back but as you say after miscarriages you just worry!

tigertummy · 14/02/2021 10:12

Congratulations @1boo1 I'm also feeling mad tired. Just want to sit around all day but I have a 3 year old to chase after so no such luck!

How are you feeling today @Fawn68 ?

I think my due date is Oct 21st.

OP posts:
Fawn68 · 14/02/2021 10:38

@tigertummy I'm ok, still having those on off really mild af like pains! And do keep toilet checking! How about you?

Our due dates will all be close together Smile

AmyTTC · 14/02/2021 13:34

I've been having some mild cramps too. Feel a bit like period cramps but not as strong and they last only about a minute before easing off and completely going. I get approx 2 of these a day. It's my first pregnancy so I was a little worried but everything I've read seems to suggest it's normal. I've had no bleeding.

My due date is 19th October.

Apart from the cramps I've got no other symptoms yet. Tiredness and sickness is yet to kick in so I am going to enjoy that while it lasts!

Fawn68 · 14/02/2021 13:55

@AmyTTC it does seem to be normal! And I was looking and side effects of progesterone can cause period like cramps, so I'm hoping that's all that's going on. I've had no bleeding either, thankfully! I am extremely tired all the time though, and getting a few bad waves of nausea each day

englishgirlinscotland · 14/02/2021 15:02

So nice to see all the ladies going through the same thing - have any of you told anyone IRL? I'm 4 weeks 2 today, due date 22nd October and it's my first. Already feeling so tired, I can't stop napping! Thank goodness for working at home.

StopTouchingYourFairyGarden · 14/02/2021 15:13

Hi all

I think I'm 5 weeks today but not too sure. I wasn't tracking my cycle and this is a massive, massive surprise!

We started TTC in 2011 and in 2014 were told we would never conceive naturally. We went on to have 2 IVF babies in 2016 and 2018.

We've never used protection Blush and never had anything close to resembling a natural pregnancy.

We have 2 frozen embryos from our IVF cycle and have an appointment next week with the fertility consultant to discuss their future - either allowing the embryos to perish or taking the leap to have a frozen embryo transfer and try for a 3rd baby. Wer weren't sure which way to go.

In preparation for the appointment I realised the doctor would want to know about my cycles, and realised AF was late... Boom. Natural pregnancy Confused

To say this is a miracle is an understatement! We're hoping for the best but nervous, this is uncharted territory and our history gives us a higher risk of MC. Have booked an early scan to see if there's a heartbeat etc. We had early scans with our previous pregnancies too - with my 2nd child the 12 week scan was our 6th scan!

Anyway good luck to everyone on the thread. Wishing you all the best Flowers
