4 weeks today

I don't dare say it out loud yet or celebrate or get excited or anything but I'm 4 weeks pregnant today.

Anyone else out there just had a positive test result and want to keep me company?

Can I join, lovelies?

Thanks @AmyTTC I just hope it doesn't happen for a 3rd night in a row. I have never had heartburn either so wouldn't even know what it feels like. The peeing thing my god, I swear I used to go like 3 times a day now it feels like 3 times an hour.

@Conundrum12345 I can't make up my mind if I am nauseous or I'm thinking I should be (does that make any sense) Not really had a metallic taste but one of my apps said that is quite a common symptom.

@Kittysw what app are you using?

@Andrushy I am using Flo as that's what I was using when I was TTC and I have also now got Pregnancy+ which I think is a really cool and helpful app. You can make check lists and all sorts on it.

Hi @Kittysw I also had similar symptoms to you a few days ago. Period like cramps and then bad tummy. It passed after a day or two :)

I've been using the Pregnancy+ app too, it's great to see the size and get the info etc isn't it!

It seems like my CB digital is consistently showing behind where I think I should be which is worrying me.

At 4+3 it showed 1-2
At 5+0 it showed 2-3

It is making me worried more than it's reassuring me.

@StopTouchingYourFairyGarden I'm pretty sure on the leaflet it says that the tests are essentially 2 weeks behind as they work it from connception? So if it says 1-2 weeks, you're 3-4 and if it says 2-3, you're 4-5 weeks. Does that make sense?

Yea I though that! Think the digital is fetal age so when you add 2 weeks it makes the gestational age as shown on the apps etc!

Mine is showing 2-3 and I was 4+2 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm a regular runner. Is it ok to keep that up? My GP said it was ok, but I don't want it to increase thr risk of miscarriage, the sites seem to say gentle exercise

Conundrum, I've stopped running but still doing an exercise class (gently) and a dance class which isn't too taxing. I just can't concentrate on running feeling like I'm juggling the embryo around and I'm paranoid about falling. There is no real reason to stop though and many women do carry on. Maybe just not pushing yourself too much?

Thanks for the info on the CB digital. I'm either a few days off with my dates or my HCG levels are not as high as they should be for my dates. Not much I can do so just need to keep my fingers crossed and keep taking it a day at a time!

How is everyone feeling in regards to symptoms? I've been feeling really tired, crampy, waves of nausea and sensitive nipples. But today I feel totally normal and am now slightly worried as this is similar to my last Mc 😔

@Fawn68 omg I've been thinking the same this morning! I did have sore boobs and cramps but they've gone now! But after extensive googling I've found that symptoms can come and go?

@tigertummy you sound like me! I found out exactly the same day, and also haven’t told my mum as she will worry!

My symptoms also coming and going, couldn’t put a bra on without wincing now they aren’t too bad!

@StopTouchingYourFairyGarden they definitely are behind and also the fact it’s increasing is great. They aren’t as reliable as hgc tests or scans but I know how hard it is at this point, i nearly bought another one today but stopped myself as I knew it would drive me mad

@PapercraftNinja I had the exact same bra related dramas! Other than that I'm still just exhausted all the time!

Yea I think the on and off symptoms are normal to be honest! As long as there's no cramps and/or bleeding maybe?

It's all scary isn't it! That's why I'm waiting til 7 weeks to do the scan as the chance of Mc drops loads if you see the heartbeat at that point 🤞🏽🤞🏽

@sneakpeek1414 I have had cramps but no bleeding! With my last MC I had seen the heartbeat at 7.5 weeks but then still unfortunately MC, just am so anxious. I too have a scan at 7 weeks so hopefully all will be ok.

Yeah absolutely it’s just about hoping for the best isn’t it! It’s such a difficult time when it’s so early on.

Do the symptoms come and go? My metal mouth seems to have gone. Still a bit nauseous and very emotional today. Hope its nothing to worry about

@Conundrum12345 they seem to I have one DS who is 2 but I just cannot remember my symptoms, I know I was just so sick from exactly 6 weeks.

My nipples are so tingly at the moment! How many week are you? I'm 5 today.
