4 weeks today

I don't dare say it out loud yet or celebrate or get excited or anything but I'm 4 weeks pregnant today.

Anyone else out there just had a positive test result and want to keep me company?

I've had a scan this morning and everything is where it should be. Sac, yolk, heartbeat all there.

Measuring a few days behind my calculations but I wasn't totally sure of my dates anyway so the sonographer wasn't at all worried.

I'm still in shock and getting my head around this big surprise so I'm going stay off MN for a bit and try not to obsess while i get used to the idea that this is happening.

Best of luck to everyone, fingers crossed for happy healthy October babies, and that they get to the bottom of what is going on with you Andrushy.

We have our scan at 6+6 next Saturday so a week behind you. Feeling nervous and excited at the same time!

6+3 today and have been feeling pretty sick from last night and also my boobs have gotten quite sore!

Thats great congratulations! Yes fingers crossed for all to be well and healthy. I am very nervous about my scan this evening but I will defo write here as soon as I find out more x

Hi! First post here and advice needed! Did a test on Monday and nearly feinted. Am so confused about the whole thing as apparently I am due 25 October. How many weeks pregnant am I then? I know that conception was mid Feb but I am still just so confused with all these dates (yes first baby and super aaaargh)
What do I do now? Do I call a doctor? what do I say? What happens next? How do I get my head around all of this? :) HELPPPPPP

So all normal with bladder, kidney and ovaries. Scans didnt show anything, she said I am all healthy.. but she said if I am pregnant they wont be seeing anything until after 6 weeks so she couldnt confirm that either.. she said test again in one weeks time with a Clearblue.. confusing!!!! More waiting for me.. :) lol

@Banana46 Hey congratulations! I am due the 26th October. I called my GP and the receptionist said I need to take in a urine sample for them to test and after that they would book me in to see the midwife at8 weeks. This is also my first and I'm feeling pretty freaked out

Thank you honey! You too! No idea what I'm doing but we will get there eh?!

Arghhhhhh! So I ordered some more tests last night to get here by Prime today as I had a massive wobbler! All my symptoms seem to have gone and I just don't feel pregnant 🤦🏼‍♀️

Anyway I did one of the tests and the line is still a 'dye stealer' I know this doesn't really mean too much but made me feel better.

How is everyone else feeling?

Hi everyone 😊 little update from me.. I had a scan at the EPU this morning (6+2) and saw our little heartbeat 💕 feeling so very lucky!

We had a private scan booked for this Saturday but got a suspected UTI yesterday with pain, was prescribed antibiotics but they recommended having all checked out this morning too. Going to change our private scan to around 9 weeks now as they said should see more of a difference in the time!

Telling my parents this weekend! Can't wait to tell my mum 😊

Hi all! I too had my scan today and everything is looking good, baby with a good strong heartbeat I am 7 weeks and baby measuring 6+4 so all good x

They mentioned I had a fibroid at my scan, said nothing to worry about at all but obviously made me Google it for hours 😅

How's everyone feeling? I've been feeling really sick all week!

I had my scan today measuring 6 + 4 which is almost spot on. Heard a lovely strong heartbeat and go great pictures considering it was abdominal scan.

Morning sickness is worsening by the day!

I've felt nauseous the past few days but not like I'll actually be sick.. Just a really weird feeling! And today I'm wiped out like a zombie, so tired!! 6+6 and wondering if its possible to ever feel more tired than this 😂

@2021Willbegreat Ahhhh that's exciting that you heard a heartbeat! Mine was only an internal scan so didn't get to hear just saw the heartbeat 💓 congratulations xx

Tbh I'm feeling pretty awful. Not just physically (although I'm really nauseous and tired) but mentally I'm struggling to cope with this pregnancy. It was a huge shock and now that initial disbelief/numbness has worn off I just feel despair. I am really down at what the next few years have in store in terms of pregnancy, birth, feeding, sleep, everything. I've been through this twice before and don't want to do it again. At my scan confirming a heartbeat I just felt resigned.

I'm struggling to think of the nice parts of having a baby. I remember in previous pregnancies I felt excited, excited for what? I honestly don't know

Sorry. I know this is not what you all want to hear - in my first 2 pregnancies I would have been absolutely disgusted to read a post like mine. I had no idea this would be such a struggle and I've no one to talk to as we're not telling family etc. My DH is lovely but doesn't 'get' it. It's not him going through it all.

Anyway sorry to bring the thread down. I hope everyone is feeling a bit better and congratulations everyone who has seen/heard a heartbeat. x

Hey all! How is everyone doing? I'm 8 weeks today and so far been feeling OK. Tiredness hits about 4pm most days and the odd wave of nausea (touch wood it stays that way - counting myself as one of the lucky ones at the minute and trying not to worry about lack of symptoms) other than that I just feel like my boobs weigh a tonne!

I had a private scan on Saturday which had me measuring 2 days ahead of what I thought I was so should be 8w3d today!

Just had my midwife booking app and got my folder etc in the post, my bloods are booked in for Saturday 💉

Been feeling sick most days although only actually puked four times in a week. Hoping this passes by 12w like the midwife just said on the phone! My boobs aren't sore anymore now, that's been making me panic slightly but I did see the heartbeat on Sat so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hope everyone is doing well, I feel like these next few weeks there's a lot to do then the 12w scan will hit!

@MTB2410 great you're not feeling sick! We seem to be the same dates. Interested to see if that changes at the 12 week scan as been told it can change then even though I definitely know my dates x

@sneakpeek1414 hope your sickness eases soon! By boobs aren't painful at the moment just much bigger which I can't complain about! Exciting you've seen a heartbeat, so reassuring isn't it 💗

I had my midwife booking apt last week, had a urine and blood test and got my notes.. and received my 12 week scan letter this week, I'll be 12+5 on the date of the scan. Not long until that happens and we can tell wider family and friends!

Nausea has settled a bit the past few days, I haven't been sick once yet but had nausea a lot. Still the odd dizzy spell when I get up quickly and boobs still really heavy.. constipated and trapped wind (TMI lol)

We have a private scan on Sunday, will be 9 weeks so will be able to see the difference from my early one at the EPU which was a teeny tiny blog with a heartbeat!

Hoping our local hospital allows partners at 12 week scans soon, 4 weeks away fingers crossed things change!

Hi guys im 6+2 im getting pretty stressed about everything and considering a reassurance scan at the private scanning place in my town, its about £45 and i think it's going to be worth every penny to give me some reassurance that things are going in the right direction, has anybody else had a early scan?

@whymewhyme yes, I had an early scan at 6+4 I think it was, and saw a little heartbeat. Baby is absolutly tiny on the scan pic but very reassuring x

I've also booked a reassurance scan for this weekend. Feeling so nervous and half expecting them to say 'it was all just a mistake and you were never pregnant!' Think I'm just trying not to let my hopes get up too much! I sound so negative! Haha

Hope nausea settles for you guys who are suffering. Exciting to hear lots of us are starting to have first appointments. It's nice having people to talk to who are due at a similar time.

Well I've had my 12 week NHS scan (at 11+2) and everything was good!

Still feeling grim regarding sickness etc but now I've seen bean again I don't think I care haha!

We are 11+2 today and have our 12 week scan next Friday when should be 12+5. Really curious as to whether they will change the due date that we worked out from LMP and Ovulation x
