So this may be a little early to even start a thread. I got a positive digital test at 3 weeks 5 days. Today I am 4 weeks. From the date of my last period (11th January), my due date would be 18th October 2021 I know it's very early days and anything (literally) can happen but I was hoping to find like minded people!

When do people generally contact their GP?

I told only my sister and my DH told his brother and bestfriend. I really want to scream it out loud but it's best to wait.

I would also advice you to tell someone sister, brother or a bestfriend..someone you trust like @Ellyr08 said

I've just booked a private scan for Friday 12th March ( I expect to be 8 weeks 4 days) and if all is well, I plan to tell family on Mother's day on the 14th! I called them and asked what happened if the worst happened as I'm a worrier and they said you'd get a full refund so I'm quite hopeful now. Definitely worse than the two week wait as I'm now on a 4 week wait from today! 🐣Xx

Hi I found out last week that I am pregnant.
Had miscarriage jan 2020 at 6 weeks this is my first pregnancy since then.
I am super anxious.
I took a digital and got a 2-3 weeks which is totally on track so saving my second test for next Wednesday to hopefully see 3+

I’m due 19th October.
I am not telling anyone other than partner until 12 week scan is done.

Tested twice today and confirmed I'm pregnant. I'm due 19th Oct. Following the advise in the group, I'm going to call my gp tomorrow.

I registered with local hospital today and my first scan and midwife info is apparently in the post. Very exciting.

Still nervous and a bit shocked by it all happening so fast. Also terrified something will go wrong. The next 6/7 weeks are going to be torture. Just want to fast forward in time till post-scan.

I'm the same.. I try not to think or read much about it but I have friends that went through mc and it's ugly after all the joy.
I just hope we are all going to pass these scary weeks and then we'll enjoy more the pregnancy.

@Kona84 hi and congratulations Smile I had a MC December 2020 with my first pregnancy and now pregnant again so I bet we are going through similar feelings right now. I'm due 18/10/21 from what I've worked out. Here if you want to chat x

Hi everyone. Congratulations to you all, so exciting! I'm still very early days but worked out my fur date is 22nd October and basically tested everyday since I got a faint line on a cheapy 🙈 this will be baby no 2 for us I have a DS 21months so going to have my hands fu I think. I'm going to contact my GP on Monday but from what I remember it's really useful to go early on as they give you any advice about what you can/can't eat drink and do so I'd recommend going soon.

I've told my sister and best friend and all being well we'll tell my husband's parents next week. I'm quite close to them as my mum passed away a few years ago, if she was here she's the first person I'd tell ❤️

Hoping for lots of lovely thing to come for you all and not too much morning sickness 🤢🙈 has anyone had many symptoms yet? I don't feel much different apart from being really tired!

I dont have any symptoms atall yet @TBay07 - which is annoying after spending so long "symptom spotting" during TTC 😂

Im planning on telling mine & OHs parents on Mothers day, I was thinking of getting a little frame with 3 inserts and writing something like "our grandchildren" then having pictures of both boys and then one of an early scan pic of this one! Ive booked a private scan for the 9th March (I should be just over 7 weeks), so it works out perfectly - and yes I have put wayyy too much thought into this already 😂😂

Hi everyone! Congratulations!
I am also due 18th October 2021. It’s our first so very nervous about it all going to plan. Definitely booking an early scan privately via Baby Bond as NHS scan isn’t until early April. Too long to wait to hear if something could be wrong imho.

I'm due mid October too all being well! Second baby. I spoke to GP at 4+3 as I remembered they do the midwife referral here (no self-referrals) and she said that was a good idea as things were taking a little longer at the moment. Had my scan letter through today so just waiting on my booking call, that came much later than my scan letter last time so I shall wait until 8 weeks before I chase that up.

@TBay07 my DD is 20 months so I suspect we will have similar issues 😂 not many symptoms here just a bit tired and slightly hungry, I felt awful the week I got my BFP but now I just feel mildly hungover

Happy Saturday, I’m trying to stay relaxed today so doing some deep cleaning.
My boobs are still slightly tender I did have some stretching pain in pelvic area today.
Felt like I had to fart, some bloating and frequent peeing.

Hi all,

Can I join to? I got a very surprising positive a 4weeks3 from memory. I am currently 5 weeks 1. I am a nervous wreck and worried about finding blood every time I go to the toilet!
I have a 12 year old step daughter and a 5 year old adopted daughter. We've been trying for 6 years, and after multiple failed rounds of IVF this couldn't be more of a surprise!

Congratulations to everyone else Grin

Hi all, congrats to everyone with bfps! I got mine ten days ago now so just about sinking in... Forked out for the fancy number of weeks one this week (DH is resigned to my poas habit now) & it said 3+ which tallys with my 5+1 so now a stick free zone 😬 & browsing MN to pass the time instead! I think there are quite a few October boards so lost track a bit but lovely to meet everyone and be distracted/kept company for the constant waiting!

Hi everyone! Can I join you? Got my bfp today after not really registering that my period was a week late... eep! I'm due the 16th of October according to the NHS calculator. I already have a little girl who'll be 2 at the end of this month. It's such early days so I'm not holding my breath (have had miscarriages before) but I'd so love her to have a sibling. Joining this thread as an act of faith really!

Congratulations, new posters! 🎉🎉

7 weeks today and so delighted! FTM, surprise pregnancy and trying to soak up all the lovely bonding and excitement. Have told family and some close friends, thought I would be very cool about it all but really counting down until week 12 when I can tell everyone 🥰

Hi everyone! Can I join? I'm 6+2 today, had an early scan yesterday where I saw a tiny sweet pea with a heartbeat! 💓
Still early days but I'm starting to feel a bit hopeful. Had an MC in December at 6+1 so overcoming this milestone this time helped ease my anxiety.
Due date 8th October, on Matt Damon's birthday, my ultimate celebrity crush, coincidence, I think not. 🤣😂🤣😂
